Your right they are the hardest healers for us to kill by far ( the other 2 are really easy as infil spec) that being said if you stay on him and all he is doing is healing himself he will run out of ammo very fast which will allow you to kill him. with proper use of all of your CCs and using low slash/ stun to get every backstab on the guy equal or lesser geared commandos are possible to kill if you are better then them. with greater geared ones, while they are hard to kill if skilled, its great to just make him have to heal himself instead of others and he WILL run out of ammo eventualy and you WILL kill him. it just takes time. (rather more time then killing other ones) i feel you though they are pretty hard to kill.
  2. i have half bm half champ gear and have never hit a 5k crit (yes i obviously use stims/relics/adrenals and what not) if i hit a target with low expertise im sure i could hit over 5k but does that even matter? they get killed in one "infil combo" anyways if you have a trick or somthing to it that would be greatly appreciated. edit* i didnt notice that it was the OP who psted his stats, there is no way your force breach crits for over 5k on anyone with any decent amount of expertise, execute i can see it happening but ive never done it, and backstab i doubt it. we have pretty much the same stats except my crit/surge are higher, but i would be interested your power rating. I feel you we may be able to regularly crit a low expertise target for 5k, but saying its "normal" is just plain wrong. anyone equaly geared you definatly WOULD NOT be able to hit them for 5k no way in hell.
  3. ahhha thats funny, i usualy give it to the best healer unless said healer was noticably bad during the game( if you have 1 healer just bc they are the best doesnt mean they did even decent) if the healer is noticebly bad i will give it to the person who has the highest dmg/kills while also having a high objective score. its easy to get a high objective score if you just stand there and do nothing, its easy to get high damage if you dont pay attention to objectives, the person at the top of either RARELY actualy contributed the most.
  4. i agree man the tank spec is really boring, its our easiest spec by far. but alas the easiest will always be the cookie cutter/ most popular build.
  5. people who claim this dont use their defensive CD correctly or dont consider CC/ interupts defensive CD. once you get decent expertise infil is fine, its the hardest spec because you need to use ur CD well or you will die easily but it is also the best healer killer/ ball carrier killer in the game.( hands down after the operative nerf a whiles back)
  6. i use both specs, and the 0/33/8 one is great bc it ****s healers up. you want to surprise that mofo as much as you can so if you can do 9k in one GCD( im shadow not assasin) instead of 7k thats a big deal if you have another DPSer with u. it can mean the diffrence between an auto kill or the healer using his DEF CD and CCs and gettin outa there. that being said the other spec does better overall damage so when theirs not a healer around ( almost never) it is most certainly superior. overall they are too close for me to make a call atm which ones better 0/33/8 or 7/31/3. which are the 2 that i have settled on to be the best imo.
  7. in my experiance in PvP it goes dot spec>tank spec> infil or deception ( sry i dont remember the sith versions of the other 2) with that said infil is my favorite bc of what that one dude said about healers. does least amount of damage but it gets your main job done the best. KILLLLLLLING if you want your stats to look shiny, however, then tank or dot spec are the way to go
  8. i dont roll madness much ( id imagine hes madness if he's getting the set) but i usualy roll with 2 force masters 2 stalkers and 1 piece from PvE when i am. I couldnt imagine it being worth it to go all 4 force masters i dont quite remember what the 4 set is for it but the 2 set stalker increaes your slow and interupt range by 5 yrds which is amazing, gives you a 15 range interupt with force slow and it makes you virtualy unkitable with any spec.
  9. it will take a while but if you dont want to buy anything or PvE to get good mods you can wait until you get all your gear and buy an item with the mods you want. edit * and rip them out* thats what i did granted it takes a while, but the options there. by the time you hit BM gear you have the perfect amount of surge at around 75% so it all works out
  10. deceptions slow lasts twice as long and has half the CD, you can perma slow ur target 50% if one cant catch someone with that idk what to tell the person. its the easiest spec to not get kited, idk about most effective, but the easiest.
  11. what i dont like is coms/valor capping at 4 medals, so it doesnt matter if you play like **** or try your hardest, as long as you get carried your good to go. and **** the BM com change lol i already have enuf BM gear i dont want everyone to get it ( jking thats the selfish side of me talking its a good change)
  12. i love infil(deception) and i admit it does the least ammount of damage of all trees, or at least i do more in the other 2 personaly. Infil however is the best hands down at taking out a healer/ball carrier which at the end of the day is one of the most important things in this game. It is also the best one on one spec imo, i havnt been beaten by a tank speced shadow since ive gotten full PvP gear 1 on 1 personaly. It is also a bonus when every 1 minute you can all but gaurentee kill someone if you choose your target correctly. The downside is low survivability, but if you use your defensive CD(including CC) correctly and attack targets who who arnt surrounded by mele if you can then survivability is fine. Remember that every 2 minutes with even a decent healer on your team force cloak gives you a free life, without a healer you can get it almost every time too but its not as effective because it wastes time having to meditate. The problem is that if you **** up using resiliance you are going to die to good players, while the other 2 specs have more room for error bc they have better defences/ range i can still cap 300k dmg almost every game with being deception so its damage isnt that much less then the other 2. ( on a side note most of the tank speced shadows that pst their l337 DPS on these forums have under 20k protection in their games, which you can easily get infil if your playing well. This makes me question why even go tank spec if your not gonna taunt or use ur guard well)
  13. ahahaha ur the same person who couldnt figure out if backstab was good in balance spec, im an infil shadow and i have enough experience with balance to know its good, if you dont know how to play ur own spec what makes me think you know how to play mine lol funny stuff

    if you havnt yet read the resolve stiky at the top of the PvP forums it is very informational and helpful to anyone knew to PvP in this game the only gear that has requirements in the best gear which is battlemaster, you have to be lvl 60 valor to get it and you get it through doing daily PvP quests
  15. u really are hilarious okay so first u say mele then u say "true mele" which u define as warrior classes then u take out a tank spec of one of the warrior classes. so ur argument NOW is marauders are UP (which i still think is very very funy) and DPS spec gaurdians are UP so u start off claiming half the game to be broken in now u claim only 1 and 2/3 of the classes are broken u should probably edit ur main post to make this position more clear, or better yet make a new thread because this titles is deceitful once again you are a very very funny man
  16. behind every good infil or deception player is a great healer, this doesnt make his 500k dmg any less good. our spec simply shines with a healer bc they give us what we lack survivability, not to mention how well a 2 minute auto stealth works with pro healers. we get 2 lives every 2 minutes if we have a good healer
  17. it blocks EVERY form of CC but snares (roots count as 100% snare) so only 1 type of CC is allowed through in reality, even though i know a lot of peoples brains tell them otherwise
  18. ahahahahahahahahaah so ur calling ONLY marauders and juggernauts UP? marauders are the best PvP class in the game, they have mad dmg and have the only healing debuff which is AWSOME in hutball. get that on the ball carrier and idc if u get knocked off after ur more helpful then half the people on the team just doing that. jugs are amazing ball carriers u get a gaurd on any jug with a brain and get him the ball its an auto score, even if u get knocked down u can just jump bak up. they can even go stright thru the pit and jump up to score without even touching the bridges im sry man ur just digging urself into a hole of illogicalness that Mr. Spok would not stand for, luckily im not half vulcan
  19. as a 50 BM shadow i think we have some of the best mobility in the game, just wait until u get all of ur abilties and you will probably agree

  23. well as a shadow if im the right spec i can get a graple and have a knockback, i already showed to u how my class at least is far superior to any ranged at dodging fire. based on the placement of the acid ranged/mele makes no diffrence. you are just rattling off things that simply exhist and saying thats my reasoning my posts have actual reasonings why i think mele is balanced while u simply state that things exist yes there is fire yes their is acid what makes ranged less suceptible to them then mele? AND you never addressed my issue of all the best ball carriers being mele' nor that the best people to take down a ball carrier FAST are mele if you want anyone to believe anything u say u need to back it up with facts not just go stuff exists in this game QQ
  24. in my experience 10-49 bracket sithies tend to win. my guess is that its because they have more people in general and people of higher lvl are more likely to que for PvP and thus they get more higehr lvls which causes the imbalance. at 50 (which to me matters a large amount more to me) repub win a little but over 50% chance but it is relatively even this is what i notice on my server at least
  25. sure you cant do the math of how much dps you do but you can very easily do the match checking at which points the dimishing return gets worse, then from there you can do test runs with certain sets and see how u fare.
