  1. Bug: Currently doing full damage to player ship hulls instead of half damage as it reads on the tooltip. That may be the reason they seem incredibly overpowered but also possibly not. I have watched no fewer than one instance per domination game tonight (played around 10 games, most were domination) where someone got 3+ kills with a single EMP missile on a node. Why did anyone think it's a good idea to allow a missile that does 400+ damage to every target with a damage range of 8000m (4,000m radius = 8,000m diameter) that ignores all shields and armor, a fast lock-on time, a short cooldown, a fast travel time, and a medium-long range? Get a bunch of strikes with it and you can kill entire teams with one volley. And if you somehow don't manage to murder the entire team in the first volley, they're significantly hamstrung for 10s and you can feasibly hit them with another missile before that wears off (even incorporating travel and lock times). Even more frustrating is that you cannot know when you're going to be hit by the aoe attack if you aren't the one being targeted by the missile(s). Staying more than 4,000m away from anything that could be targeted is also not really feasible if you intend to actually defend or take a node in domination. In deathmatch, maybe possible, but you'd have to work at it as people will almost always be flying near you unless you're running around in a scout trying to get solo kills. I will not be playing GSF again until this is fixed. Even at 50% of that damage it feels incredibly overpowered. There is no feasible counter to this except trying to do the same thing and getting lucky by getting the missiles off first.
  2. I'd rather have a chance at free stuff than a guarantee at nothing... It's not like Eric can help them fix the problem, he's not a developer. Let the rain commence!
  3. This makes sense, of course, but some of the relics aren't on the vendor even when all specs are chosen... And it is appropriate for your class. Example is the Devastating Vengeance (crit relic) not being on the Inquisitor/Consular vendor.
  4. I can't say for sure as I haven't checked every vendor but I main Shadow/Sin and the Devastating Vengeance relic wasn't there (crit proc relic). I had to go to the Agent/Scoundrel vendor to buy it. DV relic isn't necessarily optimal but it can be useful in some situations where higher burst damage is desired.
  5. As others said, for some reason, not every class vendor has every relic. Visit a different class' vendor and you can find the relic you seek. Annoying but at least it's a workaround.

  7. I apologize for the harshness of the remainder of this post but this update is unacceptable. Back in the thread titled "Season 8 Rewards" (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=924525) we were promised: "In the next few weeks we will work on getting you an exact list of what each item is along with screenshots. As a reminder, the season will be ending with Game Update 5.4. Let us know your thoughts!" We have not been given that at all. That thread was from 6/13, which was 5.5 weeks ago. That is not a "few weeks" by anyone's measure. We have not been told the reward tier rating requirements. The leaderboards have not been fixed/updated. Ranked PvPers have absolutely no idea where they stand for top three titles or reward tiers. And the season ends in almost exactly a month. Now you are saying "We will post the full breakdown of rewards with screenshots in the coming weeks". So, we will have what, a week or two to get our ratings in the right place once we actually have a clue what the tier rating requirements are? It really makes us feel like you do not care about the ranked PvP community as this information has been put off and put off and put off again. And now we have almost no time left and you're still putting it off. Please, if you care at all, tell us all of this very important information NOW!

I am fine with them wanting to get money for collection unlocks instead of people being able to transfer crystals and tunings to all of their alts in legacy weapons and unlocking it for their entire account through "character unlocks." What I am NOT fine with is this change essentially making CM tunings and crystals unusable on legacy weapons. It will become a serious pain to send a weapon to your alts using any CM tunings or crystals. This will be the death of CM tunings/crystals for most players as they will not put up with the hassle of having to put a new tuning and crystal into their legacy bound weapons every time they transfer legacy weapons (which for me is at least 4 times a day). I know that if this change goes through I will be using non-CM crystals and no tunings on all of my legacy weapons (which are literally all of the weapons that I actually use) to not deal with this. Which means I won't be buying new tunings/crystals or unlocking them in collections like I have been in the past. Which means, at least from me, they will actually be making less money because I won't spend cartel coins this way in the future.

  10. Please release tier ratings and fix the leaderboards (they've been "broken" for weeks now) so people have a clue where they are in standings.
  11. Can confirm, 3 people in our raid group had crashes to desktop from the game after completing a Tyth SM run and opening the map.
  12. It seems like GSF ship upgrades that have two choices for each "tier" de-select randomly after logging off. I login and I have to re-select most of my choices or there is simply none chosen. Very frustrating as I have to go through each of my ships and make sure everything is chosen before I can queue to play. As far as I can tell it is only happening on primary weapons. But it is happening for ALL of my ships.

  15. I cannot confirm for every one of them but all of the ones I have recipes for have the exact same "Use:" and "Equip:" stats as the craftable Iokath MK-4 (240 rating) relics. This is unintended, yes?
