  1. 1. Bad customer service 2. Bad communication 3. Voice acting gets old after you hear it once 4. PVP - sigh 5. PvE is too easy/boring 6. Credit sinks (do all new features really need a credit sink attached?) 7. Lack of direction 8. The hubris highlighted in their podcast is really disturbing 9. They are out of touch with reality and their playerbase 10. Loading times
  2. When I log into my 26 sent i can **** face in the 1-49 queue and I don't even have the invis cooldown or the 99% damage cooldown. People saying it takes "skill" to play a sent... are really just protecting their favorite class. with no support i can usually take 1 out with me with a healer or other team mate support I can mow through 4-5 people before they know what's happening. it did take me a while to solo kill a 49 sniper at 26 but i still did it.
  3. I'm suprised the CS nazis in this forum let this thread exists.

    To zoggel

Customer Service Rep Zoggel. You and your staff are *********** retarded. You constantly monitor and delete posts for no reason. You do realize you will be out of a job soon if you continue treating your customers like ****. PS I hope you rot and die and your staff dies along with you. Love, A CE player and fanboi from the start turned sour by you crappy customer service.
  5. The sad fact is they do not communicate. They spend more time monitoring comments posted on this forums and deleting them when they put the game in a bad light than they do responding to players concerns.
  6. No everything costs an arm and a leg to do anything. Respec - 99800 credits Remod one piece of gear 100K + I hate, hate, hate, hate doing their dailies. The travel times, the repititon, they all make me want to shoot my brains out. You can't even join a PvP queue and do your dailies because the loading times are atrocious inbetween WZ and planets.
  7. You're not a lone I canceled but still have 40 days left. I come back to the forums in hope that something will change my mind. I really want this game to do well. Each time I come here I get more and more upset. They really think people are happy with their product. They have no clue -- and because they have no clue they will not fix the problems we've all tried so desperately to communicate to them.
  8. This game is going to burn in flames. And it's not because people don't want it to do well. I really had high hopes for this game. I've spend a lot of money and time on/in it. I REALLY REALLY enjoy the group of "hardcore" pvpers I play with on my server. They are the best guild I've ever played with. I've had so much fun interacting with them on Vent. However I will not continue to give my money to this game because doing so tells them I'm satisfiend with their product. Their recent podcast with their WE ARE SO AMAZING attitude just totally lost me. They are so out of touch with their player base it's insane.
  9. You may be satisfied with their one-way conversations with the community. But to COMMUNICATE you need have a dialogue. Go look at the PvP forums with tons of constructive posts and you will find no replies. I don't want to read some vetted questions that make them look good or some lame pod cast where they sit around congratualting themselves.
  10. I'm a "hard core" MMO player. I bought their CE edition. I wanted this game to last. Too bad, patch after patch, step after step, they have totally ruined the game. The lack of communication and follow through is infuriating. Then they post their POD CAST in which they sit around congratulating themselves on what a good job they did? This game deserves to burn in flames for their hubris.
  11. It's discusting to see how AWESOME they think they are. When the game, in it's current state, is not awesome. You guys are so full of yourselves.
  12. I just don't want my name/legacy to be destroyed in the process. They've really pushed this Legacy feature but it's backed them into a corner where merging servers isn't a possibilty. The outrage created from losing your name/legacy title would be insane.
  13. Thanks for the bump! I feel those issues are seperate issues from the disucussion I'm trying to create. They are also contributing factors, your ideas are very valid, but I feel like they're being discussed in other threads in this forum. What I want to see is less player division on each server. For a solo class quest it's ok to seperate the factions out. If you're trying to complete some flashpoints/raids/WZ it makes little sense to keep segragating the populations... especially when there are 20 people on our fleet on a Saturday afternoon.
  14. Not sure what you mean... I play with Fat Chick Can't LoS on the Mandalore the Indomitable (pvp) We are a PvP focused guild on the Republic side (lower pop) We just had our main "competition" leave the server and re-roll elsewhere. The game is dead we are steam rolling pugs every day. I just want more people to pvp so the part of the game I enjoy playing isn't so stale.
  15. 1. They split the factions. It's around a 1/3 republic 2/3 imperial split on my server. Right out of the gate they halve (lets be generous and say the split is 50/50) the player pool you can group with. 2. They added expertise to gate raiders from competing in PvP and vice versa. Yes you can grind out two types of gear, raiding and pvp, but both grinds are a pretty big time investment in-game. I personally have no desire to grind out my War Hero gear and then turn around and grind out Rakata ---> Black Hole. Now that the server populations are settling down and there are much fewer players logging in, each server feels like a ghost town for the type of game you enjoy playing - PvE/PvP. 1/2 the population split by faction choice, then again reduced by end-game choices = Not enough people to play with. If they allowed Imperials/Republics to work together for a common goal it would proably ruin lore immersion... but then again they are allowing Chiss/Sith republic characters already. And they allow you to choose light/dark side for each faction. Is it really that far fetched to allow us to group up together for a Raid/Warzone? Why not make PvP server vs server? You could rotate the server your playing against every 2-3 weeks based on performance. Expertise makes sense only in a subsciption model where you want your community to grind out TWO different gear grinds to make your company more money. My servers population is dwindling - I don't care if a raider wants to come in and play some PvP (I would welcome them with open arms). Raiders shouldn't have to grind gear again for weeks and months to compete with my friends in almost full War Hero. In turn I might do more PvE content if it was feasible to raid in my war hero gear. Is it really that bad to have two end-game gear sets equal in strength but with two different progression methods? MMO pvp with gear grinds will always be gear v gear to some extent. I really don't care if someone enjoys playing pve for their gear - I just want to be able to play with them.
  16. Dear Moderator -- Lock this one single thread and you will create an outcry of 10+ threads questioning your decision to do so. It's better just to keep one big thread open on the subject.
  17. So wait because your swords glow, your bows shoot beams of light, and magic is called the force, it's totally different from a fantasy MMO?
  18. You guys keep posting on how their WvW pvp is Player Vs Door... have you actually played the game? WvW is more of a sandbox style of pvp -- but done correctly. You have Defenses (like walls/doors, keeps, and castles) Siege Weapons (arrow carts, ballistas, catapults, golems, trebuchets, cannons, mortaers, boiling pots of oil) Enemy Players, Supply Routs (to construct siege weapons, maintain defense, purchase upgrades) and the Orb of Power (protected by a strong raid boss that grants a boon when brought to a specific locaiton). And if that's not enough to keep you busy/entertained there are SERVER WIDE incentives for winning -- IE health/crafting/gathering boosts. This is ontop of the "Traditional" type of warzone/battleground -- of course they've added more flavor with: •Pickup Tournaments: These single-elimination tournaments wait for 8 teams to join before starting. Once they start, they go through 3 rounds of eliminations, with winners receiving qualifier points. •Monthly Tournaments: For monthly tournaments, you'll need a certain amount of qualifier points to join. •Yearly Tournaments: These grand tournaments feature the winners from the monthly tournaments slugging it out for the right to call themselves the best PvP players of the year. •Player-Run Tournaments: These tournaments will be customized by players, allowing for great flexibility and unique bragging rights. You guys really look dumb when you come here saying it's "Player vs. Door" and that it will get boring in a month.
  19. I've not read a single post in this threat claiming Dynamic Quests are new and innovative. I have read a lot of posts from others saying they like the system. It is possible to like something that is not new or innovative. The proof? well we all like SWTOR and it wasn't really that innovative besides the voice acting... which again wasn't really innovative just a port over from Biowares single player RPGs. I like the dynamic quest system for many reasons but not because it's an orginal thought exlusive to GW2.
  20. How is this different from this community? SWTORs community is terrible.
  21. I don't understand this sentiment. They have given you a massive world with keeps you can attack and defend and you summarize it with "15mins of bashing on a door". They have given you a setting and the tools to do what you will. No one is forcing you to bash on a door. It's a sandbox style of PvP with lots of toys. You can do whatever floats your boat and obviously sieging another players keep isn't your idea of fun.
  22. To be fair by people you mean "some people" enjoy it. Not everyone enjoys it; some players are more like me and just want to get into the action. We don't need a 2min cutscence to tell us why we are collecting/killing/clicking 10 things... especially for mundane planet quests/FP that you've already seen. In games like SWTOR I enjoy rushing to 50 to start the endgame progression. The story based questing just gets in the way of how fast I can take another character to the endgame. I don't see the value in wathcing cutscence because it will slow down how quickly I can get to the part of the game I enjoy.
  23. That's really good actually. I'm glad there are players out there that enjoy the voice acting because they've added it to this game at a very high production cost. No one is denying that SWTOR has the better voice acting, I just personally don't think it's necessary, and it is not a feature I enjoy/need to have fun in a game. I'm worried that moving into the future it's going to keep their production costs high for new content -- and the new content will be hit/miss with players like me that would rather just spacebar.
  24. I hate to say it but after a while the voice acting in SWTOR is more of a hassle. Now that I have a few 50s I find myself space barring through EVERYTHING -- even other classes stories I've not seen. When beta hit I was the first to defend how amazing the voice acting was... now I really see things from the other perspective and it's not that great... it might even be more of a detriment to the game in the future.
