  1. Yeah... players like that exist, sadly. The other day in a veteran flashpoint i was grouped with newbies that didnt have a clue but were entitled. I don't recall the name. It's some temple where you have to get the bombs at the start. Clueless they were, i was the only one going for the bombs, wich ended up with 2 groups pulled. Told them they need to do the bombs. I got the bombs and then we went to kill the next 2 groups where me the sage in this case got agro from most mobs, because of course i do more damage. After that they vote to kick me. I was like... what? I'm the one that wanted to leave after the cluelessness displayed. I went: "That's alright. I didnt want to carry you anyways." Really regreted not just leaving after the cluelessness and silence displayed at the beggining. Like, i know there are some pretty nasty experienced players out there, but half the time i see people abusing the vote to kick system, to the point i think it should be removed in veteran FP's. It's used to grief more than anything. Just add an inactivity auto kick feature with it. Sadly cant be applied to pvp.
  2. Not sure if they are against the rules here. They don't bother me though. We have to be able to speak about it if we think something is OP. In this game in particular, where alting is so easy, people shouldnt take such talk personaly. I have all the classes. Threads don't bother me. I value overall balance more.
  3. Sigh... nothing pisses me off more than cheaters (aka weak people not capable of winning fairly). Hope bioware hands them some deserved bans.
  4. I completely agree. It will allow people to rotate through the maps better when they aren't being funneled to whatever is the hated map of the moment. And no, i dont think they should let us choose, cause again, it will lead to less variety or longer queue times. That is what would kill the queue. Though, any internal system to prevent the same map from popping repeatidly sometimes, would be welcome.
  5. Not gonna be super useful, but all specs are viable now. The strongest ranged? http://parsely.io/parser/stats Sniper/Gunslinger, i guess.
  6. I must say i see this thread in every mmo forum. Undercutting happens. Deal with it.
  7. Honestly... deleted your character rather than ask how to deal with it. Not extreme at all. Just go to the bar in the very middle and buy a vaccine. That simple.
  8. Oh i made a thread about this weeks ago. Yes, both the empire and republic versions of this heroic are bugged. Sith lords/jedi masters don't spawn. Was hoping to see it fixed with the next patch.
  9. You could start by reporting this in the bugs forum rather than here.
  10. This. You can see these things just by hovering over the items and you only need to do it for the 306 ones. It's not so bad.
  11. Lol we gonna get one of these for every class? Anyways, sure, there's lots of balance issues atm.
  12. Well, in terms of consistency you have a point. Surely it's not cause they think the 5k credits for travel is a credit sink... But, end of the day, it's a small issue.
  13. I did not notice this at all. In the hardest difficulty level they are tough, yes. But i have a feeling this is not what you mean and it saddens me so. The only thing difficulty during the KOTFE/ET was the vehicle battles. And yes, i have gone through it recently. I recommend going to vulkk.com and check some class guides. They are for max level but will still give you an idea of what a decent rotation is so you can kill everything in seconds.
  14. 2 years is the expectation of time between expansions. WoW does that, FFXIV does that. Only TESO seems to be doing a different model. But i wonder under how much stress the developers are under to push one expansion each year...
  15. This has no impact on the lore. I wish you could understand that they are completely different things. The world we have when we are doing story cut-scenes in our phases is in no way impacted by who we group with doing repeatable content.
  16. Even here, it seems people arent able to diferentiate lore from gameplay. Yes, i think it would be good for the game, cause what we have here at the end of the day is human players, not sith or jedi. People like to imerse themselves and forget that reality. In the story itself they are the only hero. No one else exists. But hey... sith and jedi mixed in a guild... the lore oh noes! More like what if heros in the same guild with no connection. Even guilds aren't lore! But hey...
  17. I have to agree with this. The problem is people don't know how to deal with them. Rolled twice? Stun him and he is dead. If he has dodge wait for it to run out and for him to roll again. But people don't get how the class works and blow their stuns when they are rolling and max their resolve. They also tend to react rather slowly too or just be bad at dealing damage. Their damage if concealment is also quite predictable. I do think the self healing on the ruffian spec is likely overpowered and needs a nerf. I guess a roll cd increase might be in need as well. Just for one second or so. Decrease the invincibility and mobility for a bit.
  18. I understand what you mean, but has it ocurred to you that people move away from ops/raids cause they aren't as fun to them than say dungeons or pvp? I do all kinds of content. I like to vary. I don't think forcing people to do something that they might not be able to do or dont enjoy to be able to progress their character is fun. I do think you still see this in WoW glasses where the shortest route to power is everything. It's an extremist view that that game employs and why features like housing are a laughing matter over there. The game has to be fun for everyone and fun should always be the objective of games, not the shortest way to power. With that said, ive got to correct some of the things you say. Ops and difficulty level increase the ammount of drops and quality of drops you get. It is not the same as running veteran flashpoint, for example. And as i mentioned Dxun has exclusive rewards too. I think what needs to change is the way ops are delivered. I think people prefer pvp or FPs or dailies cause of lower commitment. I do like what they have done with the group finder in putting 1 boss raids in there. That is exactly the solution to get more people raiding. It's to make it more acessible, not in difficulty but in commitment. Also, i gotta say. This game went for years without a new OP and you think the raiding community is imploding now? Honestly, i don't think the solution is to force everyone back to doing ops if its clearly not what they want to do.
  19. Last i checked they were. Since there hasnt been any patch since as far as i know, i would assume they still are.
  20. I did say it is the cream. You can't have this pie without cream. It's what makes it so delicious! But, you cannot focus only on making cream and have no pie. Hopefully this tasty comparison makes sense.
  21. " get the best gear for doing nothing". Completely false, as i pointed out before. The vertical progression is the easy part, the hard part comes after with getting the best augments, the best mods/enhancements, amps, set bonuses and tacticals. Easy for you cause maybe you exploited that credit box? It's selfishness of the highest degree. What do you lose for letting other people have gear progression? Why do you think Operations should be the only challenge in the game and why do you think that dedication to a task can't yield rewards either? You think you are the only one entitled to progression and it can only happen in the way you want it to. Operations aren't even the hardest content in the game. PvP is. And in PvP you need the best gear or you get wrecked. But you want to do your operations and then come wreck other people in PvP cause reasons right? Or take your better gear and flex your e-peen? Skill determines your e-peen and wether you win fights at some point with this gear system. That is the way it should be. Besides, it's always been ridiculous for the hardest content to drop the hardest gear, because what will you need that gear for? You already beat the highest challenge, you obviously don't need it. Take that entitlement to someone that cares. You want to do ops for your gear, go right ahead. You have that option. You don't have the option to deny others so you feel better about running them. This is not in fact hurting the game at all. It is engaging more people with the gearing system and progression, not forcing anyone into just one gameplay type they may not be looking to do. Instead it lets them focus on fun, on doing what they want and still have a progression path. For you it has to be the exclusive ops power carrot or no deal. It is utterly close minded. No one is stopping you from playing the way you want, what entitles you to do that for other people? If you don't want to play for fun, then don't play. It means you were forcing yourself in order to get the carrot. I don't think you are a majority of any kind on this. Honestly, not even happy to have exclusive gear on Dxun, you need to have full exclusivity on gear. Honestly...
  22. I've played several toons through Onslaught and i never had that. I think there is more than that to the story. They probably did something weird that triggered such a bug. Would be more useful to find out what that was than think it's the roll of the dice.
