I have never seen the level of frustration in a launch of an MMO nor a community this split.
One thing I have learned is these things feed off of themselves. This will lead to more frustration in other areas.
And one last tip, stop referring to the launch as a success. Even if that is true, it is just going to piss off a lot of people.
Get some life goals braw, I'm the President of a multi billion dollar company, I compete in MMA, and have a super model girlfriend who does whatever I ask.
I spend my time posting on message boards as a hobby in between all of that.
That is strictly on Bioware never having done an MMO before, not the players fault.
Seriously...giving full xp for an early end to a pvp match is amateurish.
Rift was smooth for letting everyone in.
Of course people were getting their accounts hacked by people not needing either their account name or password.
This will be my first time to level up with the masses instead of ahead of everyone, so this will be a new experience for me.
Kind of curious how it will be.
If you listened to the interview on DH, you would realize the Bioware guys are playing today just like the people who ordered the first day.
I doubt they care enough to put out a schedule.
No.
The MMO market has changed. WoW will remain the top MMO until it dies. Then it will just be a constant wave of people switching games to the new number 1.
