If they dropped the sub price to 1 penny, I would probably stay just to troll fleet chat. Outside of the, there is nothing they can do at this point.

I've been leveling my alt entirely through pvp. What I have noticed after going through 38 levels is that sorcs/sages and BH/troopers make up 80% of the players in the lower brackets. Those two groups also seem to be the strongest classes at least in group play which ism t really that surprising.

Rift is/was in a different boat that SWTOR. It was a good game. Nothing revolutionary, but it was fairly polished and had a lot of features. They had a very good and versatile class system that they starting limiting every patch trying to balance things. Plus they made huge swings in class balance leaving the player never knowing what to expect. SWTOR on the other hand is full of bugs. Not only that, it is lacking major features you would expect in an MMO. Personally, I read that GW2 article today and my jaw dropped. That game looks like PvP heaven. Hopefully they will deliver.

Part of the problem as well is that someone posted a screenshot of them stacking every possible buff, including the marauder one, and hitting a 0 expertise target for 7-8k damage. This has led people to believe that guards/juggs can do this damage every 10 seconds. This simply is not true. They can't even get that damage anymore under the best of circumstances.

Well, they do indeed know about it. Now it is just a matter of fixing it. Unfortunately, if the warzone win bug is an indicator it will take at least 4 patches for them to fix it.

Merc healers are very good duelers. They can do very good burst damage.

I'm not sure what the sub numbers are or how every server is doing, but on my server, the numbers are dropping quickly on people actively playing. I've seen an equal number of hardcore pve players and pvp players quit. I'm in limbo myself on quitting because I don't want to invest time in a game that none of my friends are playing.

What truly is a kick in the teeth is when you heal for a tremendous amount keeping your team going and winning and then you get no votes. Then you notice the top dps gets like 4 votes. You know, the guy who would have done a fraction of that damage if you weren't keeping him alive.

The OP asked for people to guess. What I did was make a guess. We can define the meaning of "guess" as follows: 1. a. To predict (a result or an event) without sufficient information. b. To assume, presume, or assert (a fact) without sufficient information. What this means in regards to our situation, is I am simply making some assumptions based on my personal observations as to where the game will be 3 months from now. I then proceeded to make a further "guess" as to where it would be after that. Further, if you are happy with the game and think the community is growing, then that is all that matters. You don't need to make yourself look foolish responding to those who don't share the same view as you.

Although wow wasn't revolutionary it was released with all of the features you would want at the time. This game has actually went backwards in what players expect. It is like going back to your old Nokia cell phone when you have an iphone for an option. Very few people will come back.

I'd say somewhere in the 600-700k range. It will continue to steadily decline and stabilize at about 300k a year from now.

The handful of players left playing at that point probably won't care either way.

The 12 people in a warzone is becoming rampant. People are leaving in frustration. Many of my guild have said it is the last straw. Where are you? Did you take the weekend off and are just going to let this exploit go on? Some are even going to play Star Trek instead of this game.

I've been in a few matches early on that had a good amount of melee. Anymore though, it is rare to have any decent amount of melee in a warzone for me. The melee I see most are scoundrels/ops

Funny thing about republic side is that I switched over to that side for my pvp toon due to the imbalance. I expected insta queues. What I got was slow queues due to not enough repubs actually queueing for warzones. This game is in terrible shape currently.

Well.....if both sides do it than it will be a fair fight!

Powertech/merc I really don't think any combo could beat this.

I don't hate the pvp, but it is average at best.

Tracer missile spam just looks alot cooler than grav round spam, so they all stare at their screen drooling while watching the missiles. Much better than healing.
