  2. Having moved my Imperial toon from ToFN to Progenitor, I will explain why ToFN feels dead ToFN - Imperial GSF Queue 30+ minutes even on prime time. Progenitor - Imperial GSF almost instant, barely had to wait more than 5 minutes even on hours outside prime time. FP Group finder, Progenitor Almost instant and always select 1 FP, the one I want to do. Regardless what time of day is. ToFN can select 10 FP and still wait almost an hour, if not more, even on Prime Time. Shame I cannot move my Pub toons from ToFN to Progenitor, since they are not free of charge, like my Imperial was.

  4. Exactly. If someone tries to take on at level 50 two level 50 Silver Duros at Ilum, going to face death screen. Elites are dead easy in comparison, even in multiples!!!! But more than one Strong mob, and there is serious trouble. I had to respec last week at level 50 my Juggernaut to Immortal, from Rage, because I couldn't pass through two man Strong/Silver spawn. (post 3.0 patch). And was the only time I had gear to my level!!!!! Up to then I was always 10 levels behind on my gear (pre-3.0) and didn't had issues to take on whole hordes. And if someone says "yeah level 50 are difficult", my level 25 assassin, mobs that was steam rolling without issue, now is struggling to the point I am thinking to use a shield....... When you have Silver "normal" mobs that hit for 1300+ per normal hit and 3500 the special, when the total HP pool is 13000 (level 50) there is some problem. Especially when the same level elites hit for 500 and 800 respectively.
  5. Actually I do not have issues with dogfights While still learning, I am happy with my current skill and what I can do can only improve with time but I am on pretty good ground atm. @Verain true. I will unlock both the Bomber & Gunship. Release the 15K ship requisition I have to all the current ships, which means both Rycer & Blackbolt going to be almost fully upgraded to T5, and the new ships going to have a good starting point to build up. Thank you
  6. Which is on the back of my mind to go down that route. Many times the team needs a Bomber or a Gunship, however I do not know if I would perform on their role well. And while I know boom & zoom on satellite turrets is tough with the Blackbolt, it is feasible, when DF is working again of course... However, I do not want to splash the 5K fleet requisition and find that I have two ships that are sitting on my hangar.

  8. Hi, I love GSF and stockpiled the Fleet requisition points over time. (after getting crew members unlocked as per Stasie's Galactic Starfighter guide. I love the Blackbolt and the Rycer but they do lack bit on the edge. (both upgraded and working on T4-5 modules now) eg Blackbolt is needing some punch even if I have it with Lasers and the DF bug has hamper it a lot. While the Rycer is a damn good ship but not fast enough. So I would like the thoughts of some who have more experience than me. Is it a better option to open the Razorwire & Mangler before anything else, for more team support options, or go for the Sting which seems like a nice ship, fast, agile packing more punch then the Blackbolt, and afterwards open the others? I do not want to spend 5K on ships that I might not like, waiting more time to open better options of the style of ships I like to play. (FYI I have 15k worth of ship requisition chips to cash so all ships going to get that boost to start with). Thank you.
  9. Not many people are on this server compared to the other ones. And that reflects the population levels also.
  10. The bugs a) GSF bugs that broke DF and many other abilities b) The Silver/Strong mobs hitting for 10% (normal hit) to 30% (special hit) the of the HP of the player at the same level. At least the case for Strong mobs Level 47+ (eg Ilum Duros mobs special attack does 3400 damage on level 50 toon with blue Level 49 mods, and someone has only 13000hp at that level maximum).
  11. Yeah. I cannot progress my main quest line at Ilum, because the Duros (Strong) mobs are hitting for 3200+ !!! after the push back, and they are usually 2-3 together. Their normal hits are around 2000 damage!!! In Voss and Corellia they hit for 1400-1700. That against a level 48-49 character with up to level blue mods (47/49) To put into perspective a Juggernaut has 13000hp tops at that levels. Is insane. Same area Elite ones, hit for a lot less, around 1/5 of the damage!!!!

Went to Ilum tonight, and unfortunately I cannot finish the main quest line :/ Trying to kill the Duros squads, they are all "Silver/Strong", coming in 2-3 per spawn, and they hit for 3000+ damage per hit!!!!!!! ***. One shot, 3500 damage after the push back. 3 shots and my toon is dead!!!!! At level 49 with level 49 gear!!!!
  13. Yeah indeed, and when you get dismounted you are at 30% HP somehow!!!!! instantly. There is something fishy going on, to the extend I let it last night to count the damage. Strong mobs (Voss, Corelia) were hitting for 1300-1700 on my level 48-49 toon or companion, fully equipped with level 47 mods. All blue mods on orange gear, Purple Chestguard with purple mods, (the chestguard was a drop last night) Elites of same areas and on same levels, were hitting for 650-700 damage! note that a Juggernaut at these levels with Level 47 mods, is having around 13K hp. Jaesa was dealing more than twice as much damage than me, and she isn't geared more than level 39 gear, except her weapon which is level 47. (Affection 5400) She was hitting as hard as the "Strong" mobs. While Quinn couldn't keep up the heals, where before I never had issues with him. And he is fully equipped to level with 10000 affection. Consider that the night before (Monday) I was soloing Heroic 4 on my level at Voss with him (level 47-48). Again, no issues with normal or Elites, but Strong (Silver) ones only. I will respec to Immortal tonight since it will raise my ability to survive, and deal more damage, because it seems the Smash is doing now more damage on Immortal Spec than Rage spec!!!!!!
  14. And I thought it was me. Indeed my level 48 Rage spec Juggernaut is having trouble to kill just "Strong" mobs. No issue with Elites!!!!!!!!! but Strong ones seem to hit harded and have more hp! Is bit stupid same level Elite is doing around 600 damage and the Strongs 1320+ How is that possible!!!! Never has this issue before, even when I was under level for areas in the past by up to 3 levels. Now I am 1 level above the mobs and have issues. FYI All gear up to level 47. Adding also that Corelia tonight is almost unplayable. While my ms is between 44-46 there are huge lag spikes, and everyone in the zone is complaining also, and that doesn't help when you have spikes on damage and you find youself dead from full hp.
  15. Hi, After it took the client 4 hours to patch tonight (512kb/s) when finally allowed me to log in, it says I am restricted to starter planet!!!!! while is downloading the patch! Does anyone else has similar issues?
  16. @OP Am I the only one who will do the devil's advocate here, and point that while the whole looting system is flawed, is not wrong for someone to press Need, regardless if they need the item or not. Who care at the end of the day? BW should follow the example of ZoS (TESO) where everyone has a roll, and everyone gets something. No Greed/Need/Pass. If the mob drops something, it will drop for all. (same applies for chest if you are within 15 metres from the group member who opens it). Different items of various quality, but it will drop something for everyone. And items can be traded at the end of the session between players if they want to. Maybe put down a petition to change the system, instead of blaming it to people and the 12x xp?

  18. Amen, I do not give a tosh about those few extra points on some stat. I craft everything on my own, equip myself and the toons and off I go. Because for some people this game is just A GAME, not part of the life full of stress to have the exact items and play with the exact rotation, stats, you name it. if I wanted a second job, I wouldn't be playing a game, but actually have gone out to get one.

  20. Seriously how people like the cross guard from the trailer. At least looks completely ridiculous, if not crap. And that alone lowered my hopes for the new film to be anything more than another film full of cliché, if not PotC wrapped around SW.

  22. Amen. Well said. I do not understand the naysayers above, except a) They have gunships, so they solved the problem. b) They use bombers and those tactics described c) They do not play GSF without group. For the majority of the new solo players like myself is almost impossible to shift 2 bombers camping on a station having drop turrets who track you faster than you can turn on a T1 scout (properly upgraded also). And if one person cannot do anything against one enemy player, given that "solo" battles there is no communication, the result is simple loss. Deathmatch the issue isn't that terrible, because we can score kills, and especially boom & zoom works even with a scout having just Lasers and rockets. I like them when they turtle in those matches to be honest. I cannot miss even if I do not aim. Nor I have issues to top the list if the teams are balanced with both sides fielding Bombers and Gunships. Two days ago, I made a similar post. One side had only Tier 1 scouts and strikers. The other side 4+ bombers. Believe me was an impossible game to win and ended pretty badly. And the same happened on 8 out of the 10 battles I gave the last few days. The ones that were balance I won them on the trot doing miracles. Also has to do with the players and server. On TOFN to win as Imperial a domination battle, is close to impossible, while with my republican toon I have no issue and not remember the last time lost as republican. And without victories, and good battles, the fleet requisition points come harder, and cannot open fast enough the damn Gunship to blast those bombers to oblivion. (Suggestions of an active EU server with Imperial GSF is welcome, I can move server without second thought).
