Why you do not observe yourself?

Hi, Returned to the game several weeks ago and recently observed the following. On my characters I have selected all the Master FPs 25 out of 25 and I queue for all of them However, when the server creates the PUG matchmaking (all 4 people random) it penalizes me and thousands of players if one of those players hasn't selected all the flashpoints but only some on the filter. So none of the group of 4 gets the daily rewards (2 FP equipment crates, tech fragments etc) because some random person the server assign us with hasn't selected all the Flashpoint. Same applies for the weekly random group-fp mission. This is clearly a bug that many haven't realised existing yet. Thank you.

Stacie's guide is not enough, when you have a group having spammed mines and drones, using comms (teamspeak etc) and tactics, while the others as individuals are trying to do something. And do not say "discuss tactics" because NONE Listens, nor anyone going to type in the chat, while flying trying to avoid the constant lock from missile sats and players. GSF is in pretty poor state at the moment because of some completely mindless additions to the game. a) Do proper weighting on players & ships they have during matchmaking. b) Improve the Strike Fighters. c) Put missiles & torpedoes locking in a cooldown. And for the love of who ever in Bioware wants GSF to stay alive, remove the bombers completely, and all the satellites and drones. They kill the game.

Heh. You reminded me the "undead Sage" last night. He was on his own, 5 people (pvp geared all of us) attacked him and couldn't die. I am a tank for heaven sake and cannot pull such stun. And did my best to rupt him all the time.

I said nothing about the gear. On the contrary argued against those who complain about the PVP gear. Unfortunately cannot ask from people to switch to "lower grade" pve gear to get bolster. Some have no idea what that is. I didn't either, just found out. And I understand what you mean. When played first thing last night I was almost 1 hit. Tonight with the full set of supercommando, and only missing 2 implants and the augments, it takes 3 people (with pvp gear, the pve geared ones are dead) to take me down, and that takes awhile and most of the time they leave me alone for other easier targets.

I totally agree with you. I had to do the quest, hadn't touch PVP since 2012 last time. But decided what the heck. My thoughts & experiences. a) It only takes few braincells to understand PVP. However I saw "elite" people who didn't gave crap about the pylons. Me as a "noob" had to defend to capture & defend the pylon while trying to coordinate the headless chickens to bring the power to charge it. b) Those who complain "they come to PVP with PVE gear bouhouhou". I would like to ask you. How you expect someone to obtain PVP gear, without playing PvP? Magically they cannot obtain warzone comms to buy PVP gear. c) As the night progressed and finished the quest (2 pvp dailys yesterday and today, plus 1 weekly) spend the comms (after every battle) and got whole set armour, weapon, shield and earpiece. I will spend the next few days to grab more items no worries. d) Complains about pvp community? Quite a few. Joined few battles at the very end on both (the queue did so when placed me to already battles in progress). Barely played 1 minute before the games were lost. And had some "not so intelligent" people complaining that I did nothing, and my dps sucks. Ofc they couldn't understand that the game put me in the battle at the very end, and I am a tank, so they shouldn't expect from me to do much damage. (did 180K and 150K defending one artillery piece on those battles in just 1min). Those people should learn some manners, that this is a game, and should get a real life. e) Will I play more PVP? I got the gear so why not. I will split some time between warzones, GSF, and pve. Depending the mood.

They were equipped with PVP gear not PVE gear, that is why. Some Level 65s tried to kick them on Tython this morning and they got wiped because they were with OPs gear. And when they spawn they died again instantly because they camp the med centres on those areas.

Hi, Both Imps and Pub players, have managed to get to Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Tython and each other Fleets, harassing players, and killing the merchant NPCs. If you try to engage them and you get killed, given the proximity of the medical spawn points, you get instantly killed and is almost difficult to impossible to get out of the area or reform to retaliate. Can provide screenshots with names that abuse the bugs that exist post 4.0

Guys, The Level 65 cap is with KOFE or with 4.0? Because irrespective I do not have EA (missed a week in August when on holidays) , all my level 60 toons got today the xp bar to 1 xp less from leveling to 61 and stuck there. Cheers

At 3.1mbit line, the patch has taken 3 hours to get from 70% to 83% I will stop it and go to let it download overnight. Off to WOT tonight it seems.

Seems I am one of the few that do not care about the "mainstat" changes? Isn't that something critical changes in the game, on the contrary, new players aren't going to get lost, companions will be easier to equip while leveling and going to reduce the crafting items/schematics significantly.

Amen. Let them kick everyone of those cheaters from game. Last two nights had completely unknown dudes pm me to join them on a exploit farming for gear., because they were in need for tank. And they even went to the point on swearing, when refusing to do so, Was annoying and all of them were reported for harassment Shame didn't knew that the exploit was completely "illegal" so I can report them for it also and the ban hammer fall swiftly on their heads. Let them unsub and out of the game. I bet they are going to be the first ones back.

Actually is a mongolian dialect and talks absolutely rubbish compared to translation. There was on BBC R4 Film show few weeks ago a feature about such things from films. (including the breathing mask sound, light sabers, spaceships) Actually the whole ewoke dialogues in Return of the Jedi, are just some stories told by a half drunk old mongolian woman. Why I said half drunk, because she asked for vodka as payment to tell them stories, had plenty of it and then they recorded her. Not even George Lucas has a clue to this day what they are talking about,but none has complain about "the language" since the 80s.

I have my PVP flag on constantly on all toons atm. Solution easy. Do not throw snowballs to every passer by, and you will not get flagged. Simple.

@OP Initially made a similar post as you did, on my 10th battle or so, when the game was pitting Tier 1 Blackbolts against fully equipped Bombers and Gunships. The people's advice was carry on, do as much as I can and things will improve as my skill improves and modules/crew. Fast forward a month later, playing 3-4 battles per day. I created a new toon, and decided to get him into GSF also. First battle stock Blackbolt, 20 kills, 53K damage. When my avg damage up to now was 28-35K. Yes the stock Blackbolt compared to the fully upgraded on my main toon does suck, but I was amazed how comfortable felt on it flying it. What you need to do is play with the initial Scout and Strike and see how you fare in them, before you spend the requisition to by more advance ships. Use Stacey's guide to equip them also, since is a valuable guide how to start. (and watch the relevant videos from there) Depending what ships you like to fly after 10 battles or so, stick to them. Bomber & Gunships are for those who know what they do and are preferably in group. Unfortunately tried, on my main toon to play both and gave up. I rather fly a stock Blackbolt than a fully equipped bomber or gunship. My aggressive playstyle cannot fit in them and I am a liability for the team because I cannot help them. But other players are shining in them. General advice. You are going to lose ships, and you are going to lose matches. There are days where you can play 5 battles and lose them all. Is team game, not solo and you cannot single handed win a Domination game for the team. (Deathmatch yes, and even myself which is a noob have done so with 30 kills battle). However, we lose nothing, regardless how bad we did on a game. As long as we try, learn from mistakes keep it friendly and try to coordinate the team if none else does. Yes that is important. If you see that none has said anything about tactics at the start of the battle, is your responsibility to do so. Put a plan on the table (chat) and see if the others follow. If someone else put a plan on the table, stick to it. Ask for orders and additional details. Communication wins the games. Final thought. If you want to actually help and not know what to do, stick near friendly Gunships at around 10K distance to the direction of the inbound enemies. There are many players who zoom to the Gunships for the easy kills, and you can pick them off and hammer them, while supporting your fellow teammate.

Yeah tried numerous times tonight. Including going under the arena, reset twice and sent Mako to a crafting mission of 20 minutes (then reset the quest) nothing. They all attack you together and cannot progress. If it was any other quest, should be OK. but is the damn mainline quest and more or less our toons stuck.
