The whole Cartel Market is a pseudo-economy to test the principles of Supply vs. Demand Elasticity (look it up and earn some college credit), which is why I refuse to participate (a.k.a. I am not the targeted market with disposable income). Complaining that Bioware is selling an overpriced super rare item, is like complaining that a Ferrari LaFerrari is overpriced. Nobody cares what you think unless they're wielding that item.

Yeah that sucks, I definitely think you should question BW actions here. I'm not aware of a server merge in the last year; I think the last one was over 2 years ago. If the name change came during the last couple of months, I would want to know the exact reason for this happening and how it can be avoided. On a side note, have you considered using variations on the letters in Sanctuary? (i.e. ā,ą,ă, etc.) I know its a bandaid fix, but they're acceptable characters and it would appear to be the same. I bought the Iokath Monitor with credits and comms to complete the daily mission assigned to it, only to be killed with an incomplete task (7 out of 10 machines killed) remaining. I now have to purchase again to finish? I'm sorry, but this simply dumb. Cut out the BS Iokath comm grind and make this a one time purchase... at the very least. /sigh

Agree with OP. IMO: I think the War for Iokath story would have been more interesting if our characters ACTUALLY switched factions; and none of this grind rep for both. Or at least the choice to not support the Pubs nor the Imps. I did enjoy the Elara/Quinn reunions, but otherwise the story needs more depth. Theron and his Dad reacting to one another is super awkward especially from the Empire perspective, so I guess they hit the mark there... My biggest complaint is the Iokath commendations being necessary to complete certain Dailies that are RNG assigned (i think). Pretty much you have to grind out these Iokath comms with multiple characters to send to your 'main'. I would have much rather preferred the mouse/monitor/walker dailies to be reputation based or something.

Thanks for the warning Eric! Finally got the Uprooting the Last Seed and The Shroud Revealed quests done b4 the expansion. VERY fun set of quests, The Shroud Revealed really feels like a good ol' KOTOR puzzle quest.

Well if you enjoy playing your bounty hunter, I'd suggest going smuggler. If you don't want to be a part of the Empire, the smuggler lives on the fringe of respectable society so you don't feel attached to the Republic much either. The smuggler also gives you good options between stealth/dps/heals, and of course good vs evil which makes the class really fun. I'm replaying as a light side character right now and it feels like a new story TBH. Cheers and GL!

completely agree with this. i'm really tired to rolling the dice for the hope of being decently rewarded. at least in the Nightlife event you gambled for tokens that you could buy the rewards of your choice [with the exception of extremely rare drops, ie. rancor mount]

Before trying something drastic, like reinstalling the game client, I'd make sure your graphics card is up-to-date, maybe tweek some graphics settings down or playing in Windowed Mode helps avoid unnecessary loading screens. This isn't a lag problem right?

/signed Sorry BW, I'm not spending my summer re-rolling all of my characters again. Love the idea of LSvDS and that the event will have IMPACT on the galactic struggle; but its asking a lot. I couldn't help but laugh when I finally read the "Legendary" status' achievement requirements. Full character slots on your primary server, means you need to switch to another server and you're either starting from scratch or paying up to move over a character with resources. I might have actually considered the very cheap server transfers offered last month had I known that the event was going to be an obvious "Diablo Season"-like run through. I love the idea, but not well thought out from the player's perspective (or blatantly evil and money grubbing)

The only good news out of this is that I no longer believe I went crazzy. I went to "sort" my full cargo hold bay thinking it would stack similar crafting mats (which is certainly doesn't...) but it still cleared 2 spots... i wonder what is missing

seems accurate, but the excessive mob on the world instance seems to be having a detrimental effect on the server's combat / movement response times. I was experiencing some terrible lag during the personal and non-instanced areas of Zakuul. General chat is not sufferring from any noticeable lag, so hopefully they can kill the spawns with a restart and/or a quick patch.
