  5. a simple option in your account preference would be the sensible fix. Check the box if you want to auto-skip thru cut scenes, don't check it if you want the option to 'spacebar' thru them. Some players may like this feature, but in reality its a very, very low priority. Just ask every1 to spacebar. Nuff sed

  8. So my guild has been a ghost-town since September and I'm getting annoyed running around with unorganized dopes. I'm looking for a guild with an active Ops and ranked PVP schedule, I got teamspeak, ventrilo, or whatever your guild prefers. I tend to play in the evenings / nights 7pm++ PST. My main is a gunnery commando, and I have a guardian tank (fresh lvl 50 recruit) + lowbie toons (legacy level 36). Gear; PVE: DPS (almost completed BH set) and Heals (rakata/columi) PVP: DPS full WH Reply or private message me to discuss further.
  9. Does anyone else feel like class buffs need more of a lasting effect applied to my character? Right now, current 1.4 patch, when applying your instant cast of your class buff you will note there is a unique character animation associated with the cast, but the only noticeable attribute effect is a square icon above my character info tile. Through general gameplay you will notice that every other buff applied to you has some animation associated with it damage over time (DoT), or healing over time (HoT), Absorb over time (AoT), buff over time (BoT), ect and so forth. There are also considerations for PvP, yes we can look at tiny boxes on our target indicator UI and to look for buffs/debuffs, but in my opinion that isn't something that makes PVP fun. By visualizing these class buffs, it may be more obvious to attack the player that hasn't buffed since revive than his teammate next to him. These stack-able class buffs, in my opinion, need some over time animation / visualization that associates my attribute increase into a perceivable stack-able character enhancement. How about we add a lasting visual effect on the character's themselves that is unique to the four class buffs? Such as different lighting and other visual effects to distinguish an unbuffed player to a incompletely buffed player to a completely buffed player. What is the community's thought on this? Obviously this is not mechanic with a high priority list, but would you want to see this enacted in the future? Would prefer more obvious and identifyable effects, or subtle but recognizable? I was thinking a bubble shield associated with the trooper/merc. Blue or Red flame from knights/warriors. Hot hands for smugglers and agents. What are your thoughts and what would you want to see as a stack-able class visual effect?
  10. i don't know about everyone else, but I specifically saved up to buy the expensive items (main/offhand) first, so its a shorter road to complete the set. Now I'm almost 3000 ranked comms S.O.L. for gear compared to last week.

  12. BUMP this thread for the DEVs ^^ By allowing true space flight controls, they would have to overhaul their space combat engine drastically... a lot of work indeed. But it would expand on a portion of this game that has been, for the most part, neglected. If I had known that flight controls in space combat would be almost exactly like Nintendo 64 Starfox... I'm not sure I would have bought this game in the first place. I think some short term fixes to space combat could be integrating them with Class stories, or maybe even PvE/FP. This is where the BF2 space combat model could excel, specifically where the whole mission premise is to disable ships from inside and out. IMO
  13. Still here! I was apart of the last 2 betas b4 launch; and have been sub'd continuously. I enjoy the game, but don't necessarily love it. PvP is decent... at least the class stories keep me playing for fun and entertainment

  16. ^^ And also no rewards for joining games late. Max medals eligible for rewards is only 8, so if you have a better than average pvp proficiency. Really doesn't give any incentive for game play besides MBP votes.

  22. ...and I couldn't finish the final WZ I was in to receive my valor or the epic mount b4 Server Maintenance (which I had enough Comms. 800/800) I know its just a Speeder... but that hurts.
