  2. I just bought the Elegant Modified Blaster Pistol, don't know what you think a deep sound that's supposed to be. the cartel blaster is like sisko, while the blaster pistol is like minnie mouse
  3. best thing is, you can't even buy it, you need to gamble it through cartel packs with no guarantee it will be in there. here is the report of someone who burned 240$ on cartel packs. he did not want the blaster (but he did not get it either, I think you get the picture) http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=556793
  4. well I now found out why this happened. it's not the sound that sucks it's the weapons. charged burst had it's own sound no matter which weapon you took. now it has the sound of the weapon. (similar to commandos where you hear the sound of the weapon using full auto) only difference is. commando's have at least 2 awesome sounding weapons (the 34 pvp weapon and the reward for finishing act1 of the class story) now here's the trick. they added 1 weapon with a sound that (at least) does not suck so hard. it's the " Black Nebula Heavy Blaster " a cartel item!!!!! they are actually ripping us off here. it does not sound as awesome as the old charged burst but at least it doesn't hurt my ears. thanks a lot, what's next ? change all armor color to pink except cartel armor ?? I am so mad right now
  5. same as the sound of charged burst this will probably not be addressed nor will anyone say anything about it. we're just not a lightsaber class
  6. what I wish for is more music (this might be a bigger papercut ?) star wars is very much about music and there are so many zones and even whole planets without. when driving around corellia or ilum as an example, its feels so lonely there as it is (near to none people) but without the music it feels desolate depressing, the only thing you hear is the humming of your speeder.....

  8. given the sssp (super secret space project) is still alive, new missions are better than nothing the only I would like to know is if the gunslinger's charged burst sound is finally going to be fixed in 1.6 (after not fixing this during 1.4 and not fixing this with 1.5 its about time to repair the class)
  9. well okay maybe they see what they put into the game = content I see content = results in activity. HK51 is content, there are places to go during the quest and riddles to solve. the derelicts ships are content pure, while searching for the parts isnt so much. however since I am more the traditional type gimme expansion = I pay money. gimme lil update (=makeb) = it's part of the sub.
  10. actually I think thats great. you have people who want to avoid giving ea money, so they farm virtual money ingame. you have people who buy cartel coins for easy ingame cash. seems everyones going to be happy like that. one has to see how the prices develop in the future when most people don't have their starting coins anymore. what would really like to buy they don't have. I would like to level as slow as someone wihtout a subscription (because levelling is too easy and fast for me) but I also would not want the inconvenience of a free account. and I would like to buy the pre 1.4 gunslinger sounds which they changed and I want back so badly, but I could not find them in the cartel shop
  11. since there is only one planet path you can follow, the sidequests are always the same. you can however include bonus series of other planets you left out later (especially nar shaddaa and hoth). fortunately low level pvp in TOR is very entertaining oh yeah and make good use of the dungeon finder and run more flashpoints, do your daily flashpoint quest (including the ones from the terminal and the daily pvp quest and you will have to do less sidequests. (add a little space combat plus daily quests in space combat) the more you do that the less sidequests you have to do.

  15. diese bekloppten gimmicks sind doch echt mal banane, seit 1.4 warten revolverhelden darauf dass ihre waffen wieder richtig klingen. bisher ist noch nicht bekannt obs überhuapt bekannt oder gar gewollt ist wann und ob daran gearbeitet wird einfach nix. von einem tag auf den anderen ist eine klasse soundmässig im arsch.... wochenlang und nix aber wegen dem jawa = wird gleich erledigt ....... fällt einem nix zu ein. ich war schon enttäuscht dass der 1.4 bug mit 1.5 immernoch da ist......
  16. es wäre schön gewesen wenn der sound von charged burst vom revolverhelden gefixt worden wäre. leider wissen wir immernoch nicht ob die änderung nicht beabsichtigt war. die hauptattacke des revolverhelden klingt nun als wären die batterien alle...... seit 1.4 ein wesentlicher spassfaktor an der klasse geht damit verloren. ich bin quasi auf dem zahnfleisch in richtung 1.5 und habe wirklich gehofft die sounds sind wieder okay. ansich würde ich nur gern mal hören dass es nicht beabsichtigt war und irgendwann wieder in ordnung kommt. dass das spiel mit dem bug wieder online gekommen ist bin ich ja fast noch gewillt zu verzeihen.

  19. now while I am on my 3rd try to get up the aim datacron on correllia and was removed from the piller twice by autostuck I have the time to necro this thread instead of doing a new one. It would be really really really nice if there was an option to disable that silly feature /thanks
  20. this might add to that. the lack of good music drives me nuts sometimes. star wars is so much about good music. drive around corellia and the only thing you hear is that mind numbing sound of your mount. it'S really depressing.
  21. exactly the same reason I had for 16 over 8. It's cheap so may as well go for more. do I need that now ? no. will I need it in 2 years? maybe = the low price made not worrying about it worth it.
  22. well I dont have a problem ever since I upgraded to 64bit win7 and 16 gb ram. the leak is not fast enough to be noticed with 8-16 gb ram. try 32 bit vista with max 3.5gb you'll crash after about 4 hours playtime
  23. cunning is the most useful stat in the beginning. from what I've read from theorycrafters it falls behind power at some point (that point when the crit component of cunning becomes victim of diminishing returns so much, that cunnings worth is only for power and then power will provide more bang for your buck )

  25. it does not need acknowledgement fire up the taskmanager after starting swtor note the memory allotment of the swtor.exe and look at the bloat after 2 hours of play
