new world dying eh and you think those others are alive and well? thats funny new world has more active players right now than all of those old mmo's combined.

Those are small niche mmo's barely anyone plays. Just because they keep the servers up doesn't mean its not dead. Besides runescape, and yes people have been calling for each of those demise. even old school runescape is dying too, 1400 people active right now isn't much at all.

year I hear it every iteration, people just can't stand change and going out of their comfort zone. Most people say they are quitting over very nit-picky things when there is still plenty of fun to be had in the game. Most of those people are always bluffing on the quitting part in hopes bioware conforms to their demands/ideals. People don't realize just going along with the status quo of 6.0 is stagnation, and it probably shows in their metrics and subscription numbers. They aren't making the changes for no reason. They will be the first to know if those changes were bad or good and adjust accordingly.

you know eventually everything dies down right? people have been saying wow was gonna die for decades.. and now you finally think they are right just because its FINALLY starting to happen. I literally couldn't even grow a mustache when this game launched and now i'm 30+ years old. It still has millions of subscribers but nothing last forever, but the yearly doom and gloom post didn't have anything to do with it over the years. Eventually everyone will be right but correlation doesn't always equal causation.

I mean we don't expect it anymore, that is why I made this thread my man,, giving suggestions and ideas like bringing back paid expansions, going buy 2 play, doing a kickstarter.. other ideas to put in the game, etc etc. What I'm saying is it not a pipe dream or unrealistic like the person I quoted, it is reasonable and has been done before, and at the end of the day really isn't expecting that much, not compared to some mmos. I think yall are just settling for less, tempering your expectations and going along with the status quo. If you are not happy you need to speak up, this game deserves better.

this is another thing, we (I) don't need fully voiced personal character (just like kotor) if that means us getting plenty of more content. It would be in line with Kotor anyways, you just get dialog choices via text, nothing is wrong with that.

fair enough but i've seen all the stories multiple times, playing a different advanced class through them again won't change that much.

Honestly it seems like when they stopped making us pay retail price for the expansions, and you got them included with your sub, the quality and amount of content went way way down. Let's bring back paid expansions if that is the case, give them more incentive to put out better content... wanna get paid? then put in the work!

They did a lot of nice stuff, but it just seems like new ways to replay old content. Which yes is great for new subscribers, but us beta vets that played the content over and over want something to sink our teeth into. But yeah I agree this game is bangin for new players.

don't worry about gearing right now, current gear will be redundant in less than a month. Just have fun, relearn the game, take your time, if you don't know anything then start a new character. Good luck!

I think what we got here is another expansion and another way to replay old content. They are still not investing enough money into their game. What I want is a couple new classes, a couple new races, and few new full open world planets with planet quest and class mission quest. A couple new warzones, new reward system for unranked warzones. A couple new raids. A new group activity to do, maybe some open world pvp zones. Pazaak, Betting on Duels in a tournament, Pod racing against actual players, racing starships, or open world space travel to your destination. Maybe we go around and find hidden treasures on different planets throughout the galaxy? Maybe we can customize and design our own lightsabers and weapons? Maybe give us more things that can make us stand out in the galaxy? Unique flairs that you don't have to be good at ranked to get, unique weapons that you don't have to grind ranked to get. "Wheres the beef?!" we need something beefy. I said this a long time ago, if you can't find the support from your bosses, do a kickstarter. Most of us here would gladly support it and donate to the cause. I'll pay for the expansion too, and I'll pay for a sub.

ugh i was referring to the op when they used the word, they said their alts will be useless without conquest. That is not true. They are not useless without conquest.
