  1. Do you have any idea at all how incredibly juvenile you are coming across? "Because I can't have that toy over there then I don't want anyone else to have this different toy."
  2. Grow up. The only argument against giving a reskin version is "I don't want them to have it." Seriously. It doesn't take away the accomplishment of earning the original version, which is what the rewards are for anyway. I don't care if they add a reskin version of every single mount. It still won't be the same as the original, and it won't hold the same prestige as earning the originals.
  3. When I try to go to http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/2.6a-patch-notes I get the page not found message. Page Not Found This page is not available. This may be because you do not have permission to access it or the page may not exist. If you feel you should not be receiving this error, please contact us. Weird.
  4. My one and only honest complaint about this "expansion" is that they didn't also add any true hard mode flashpoints. At this point I'd like some fresh group content. The space combat is well done and something a lot of people have been asking for, but not that interesting to me. I'd like to see some more challenging content for groups.
  5. Elitists will be elitists so it doesn't matter if we give them even more ways to do so? Flashpoints like this are ridiculous in a game that was designed for Tank, Healer, DPS.
  6. Can you try to be a little less of a tool? Arguing over incredibly common everyday language use is not helping your cause.
  7. Hey tank, respec dps, and have good dps gear, or we kick. We want to kill everything fast.
  8. My signature used to say "My referral link". I removed it when Bioware asked because, well...read my new sig. Even though I've never used hidden links or stupid tricks Bioware still removed at least 1 of my referrals. They seriously can't get anything right.
  9. Here's the problem. If they didn't have some sort of tie in there people would be complaining that the NPC's don't even recognize those who have completed the story. At what point should a spoiler be allowed in the expansion? If this guy didn't get the information right away he would have kept on playing the expansion content until it popped up eventually. The devs decided, rightly so, that after all this time it's ok to advance the story. Every MMO does it. If you log on to WoW tomorrow are you going to be pissed that Deathwing is dead and you didn't get to play thru the expansions 1 by and 1 and find out yourself?
  10. After a certain amount of time has passed it's not a spoiler anymore. Sorry you missed the boat, better luck next time. P.S. Snape kills Dumbledore.
  11. It's still not much to keep the rest of us entertained. I sure hope they are working on more operations and flashpoints. The Dread Masters are only going to keep us occupied for so long.
  12. Why not just have enemies instantly die when you enter an area? I mean it's pretty obvious that even a group of 3 or 4 enemies won't be a challenge to anyone. What's the point of having to attack them? They should just hand me all their loot and then fall over dead when I enter their vicinity. Maybe make it an option so people who still want to interact with the game in some way can turn it off.
  13. As evidenced by the ebb and flow of the balance in the universe the force isn't stronger towards the light or the dark. The force just is. It strives to find balance, and the strength at any given time truly depends on the individual.
  14. It doesn't crash me, but it is unusable. It causes weird lag when I try to use it, and then closes itself.
  15. Wow. This issue is as old as MMO's themselves. Player decides to play on a PvP server. Pvp happens. Player cries. I feel no sympathy for you. Transfer to a PvE server, or make some friends.
  16. Actually, you do need to obey the Jedi Council in order to be considered light side. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gray_Jedi states it plainly. Specifically the part where it says: However, between the beginning of the Great Sith War in 4000 BBY and the end of the Dark Wars in 3951 BBY, the Jedi went from the height of their power to a mere remnant of their existence. As war repeatedly spread across the galaxy, some Jedi came to believe that a strong central authority was necessary. The Council, including such members as Vrook Lamar and Atris, revised the Jedi Code in order to consolidate their control over the Jedi Order and institute stricter standards on the conduct of its members. Despite the Council's actions, not all Jedi adhered to the revised Code. Some objected to several of the new strictures, such as those that barred the training of any Jedi hopeful over the age of four, that prevented Jedi from having families, and that restricted the use of Force abilities associated with the dark side. These individuals frequently clashed with the Jedi Council, and were known as Gray Jedi to the Jedi[6] and the Sith.
  17. I accept that power comes faster and more easily when one gives in to the dark. My argument was that I think a very large portion of dark Jedi turn dark because it's less restrictive. Once they take the first few steps, the power pulls them in further. Look at Anakin. He fell to the dark side to begin with, because the Jedi had too many restrictions. If the Jedi weren't so heavy handed when it came to love and family, and they actually learned to cope with their emotions, as opposed to just trying to control, or shut them out, Anakin may not have fallen. The Sith and most dark Jedi let their emotions, mostly hate, and anger and the like, run free. I think if force users learned how to handle their emotions, both good and bad, in a healthy way they could be stronger. The Potentium, Imperial Knights, Gray Jedi (and I mean true gray, not "I just can't make up my mind" types), and Voss mystics are a great example.
  18. See, I don't agree with that. I think a lot of people who choose the dark side do it because it offers less restrictions. Less rules saying what you can and can't do. I don't think most do it just because it's the "easy" way to power. I think that's just a huge side benefit for many.
  19. Dark Helmet said it best: "...now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb."
  20. Here's my Jug tank. http://imgur.com/a/vPfR6#0
  21. At the expense of quality? Are you serious? Since becoming involved Marvel has put out some of the best films ever. Even their crappiest films were at least watchable, which is saying a lot when it comes to crappy hollywood movies.
  22. I'm going to ignore your obvious lack of understanding in regards to the difference between Light Side, Dark Side, and Republic, Empire. Having said that. Calm down. The difference between having that achievement at 100% and having it at 50% is... nothing. There is no difference between having that one achievement at 50% or having one achievement worth half the points at 100% and another at 0%.
  23. Wow. Way to hammer home the fact that you are trolling. I seriously hope Bioware makes an example out of you and bans you from the forums.
