  1. Especially since it isn't possible to get said item, which is what he is asking for an update on. Andryah and others are the ones bashing him for buying the crates. What happened to your favorite line "that's none of your business"?
  2. I view it as a good thing. With arenas coming, there will be less players doing warzones. People that don't like arenas will want these extra people to do warzones with. They will probably have to buy a pass to do arenas.
  3. There is nothing wrong with asking for this. Other MMOs have done it, some did it well and some didn't. That doesn't mean that EAWare has to implement it, but there is nothing wrong with asking for it. If players never asked for new features then we might not see any.
  4. True but I have less sympathy when you actually have to type "DELETE" to make it happen.
  5. Why the hell did you delete them in the first place? IMO, if you delete a character, there should be no restores.
  6. Great post and sorry I snipped it. I wanted to comment on this part.... Considering Stephen Reid said this: So no, it doesn't lock the company into anything.
  7. Im at the point that I hope they allow a 1 time only change. That way I can come read the thread, of all the whiners, begging for 1 more because they made a mistake and don't like the other AC now.
  8. And everyone else is still using the same argument: They should change because they can. Whats with the hypocrisy.
  9. Take your own advice from above. You are not a special snowflake that is superior to everyone else posting. We are all human beings that each have our own opinion. Your opinion is no better then anyone else. Trolling may have been a bit too much of a word. All I was trying to say is the " why to you care " crap was unnecessary to continue as it was garbage to begin with. Yeah, I don't care that much. I will post as often as I want to. Doesn't mean I care that much. Im just stating facts here. You on the other hand, want to use your own definitions and apply them as facts. Doesn't work that way. IMO you are one of the worst posters on here. All you do is try to tear peoples opinions down and express your own as superior. You are not superior. You are just another poster.
  10. You started the "why do you care" stuff. I responded with it. A continued response with it is unnecessary garbage. Im not ignoring anything. You are just arguing semantics. They are treated as independent classes. That means, in their eyes, they are independent classes. Your "son" analogy is just silly. All opinion and nothing more. Stop exclaiming things to be fact. No im not. I couldn't care less. I have no need to stamp my feet. Its really simple... the devs stated that they view ACs as different classes. The devs stated it was done this way to avoid having to make 16 storylines. I don't know how more clear it could be of the devs definitions and intentions for classes. So stop stomping your feet and exclaiming that they are not classes.... when the developers of the game define them as such.
  11. Not sure as I don't really pay much attention to it but I got some boss kill achievements in the instances.
  12. Im not talking about your argument with the AC swap, when I refer to you trollin. Its about the "why do you care" "why do you care that I care" crap. That's just off topic trollin nonsense. As for the first part.... I notice you chopped out the second part of my statement. The reason they went the AC route is because they wanted to do 16 classes but could not do 16 story lines. This is the only reason that people don't pick their class at level 0. They are classes. The devs have defined them as classes. Call them what you want but you are wrong.
  13. I go by words to. I go by words the devs used to say that they treat advanced classes as their own class. I also by the words used, by the devs when they explained the reason they went the AC route is because they wanted to do 16 classes but didn't have the time or budget for 16 storylines. Now your just trollin
  14. Is it hard or something? Perhaps its too time consuming? Start fleet... enter ship hanger.... click terminal... port to moon..... get quest... fleet pass back... terminal back (or use the new legacy port) do instance and fleet pass back again. Its a one time quest.
  15. Asking a question of someone is not "caring so much", its having a discussion. Why do you care so much about who I ask what?
  16. You don't get to define what is and is not a class. The devs define what is and is not a class. The devs have stated that they treat advance classes as they own independent class. Even if they change the mechanics, that definition would still hold true.
  17. You're in this thread just as much as I am. I could ask you the same.
  18. If this is true then why do you need to switch.
  19. They could but the question is would they make more money or less money. As it stands, its highly unlikely that anyone is quitting over AC change. There may be a bunch that quit if its implemented. I would also suggest that if the AC price would need to be relatively high to counteract the loss of sales for alts. Pricing it relatively high may leave out people that would buy it to begin with. I haven't heard one good reason to allow it. Not one. See how that works? If you call opinions ridiculous excuses... then you are dismissing them. I don't need to make any excuses. All I need to say is that I prefer the system stays as is. I don't need to justify anything. It is biowares system, not mine. It just happens to be one that I support. I believe that no ac swap gives each ac more meaning. I have never been a fan of class switching. You can discount that they are classes all you want. Im not jumping back into that argument. To me they are classes. Bioware considers them classes. I also believe that having meaningful, permanent choices adds flavor to the game. Bioware touted this before launch. I quickly, in beta, saw choices go more and more out the window until this was pretty much the only meaningful one left. There you have it.... my reasoning. You can dismiss it or call it ridiculous all you want but that doesn't negate anything. There are many people that feel the way I do.
  20. Nor have you. The only reason to swap ACs is to avoid rolling alts. The devs designed the game to roll alts as part of playing the game. EA makes a ton of money off of alts. Many have told you why we are against it. Dismissing our opinions doesn't make your opinion any better.
  21. Extreme envy? I think you are looking for another term. Envy would not apply here as there would be nothing to be envious about.
  22. There is no reason to swap ACs except to avoid rolling an alt. Its that simple.
  23. Just as your entire argument for it boils down to " I don't want to roll an alt"
