    Lockboxes

    Maybe I'm just not aware of how to do this (without using a 3rd party site), but please let us view armor sets in lockboxes. This would be helpful for the pvp sets & armors in the fleet supply section from S3T BNS droid, and probably others I'm over looking. I really don't want to have to tab out constantly to try and figure out what the set would look like. Thank you.

  3. I finished the mission today on one of my alts. Far as why you didn't get credit for it, idk, but Saeten did list off a few possible reasons.
  4. Nearly a year in and I'd like some clarification on this too. I've been solo clearing this uprising daily for a while now, and I've not seen it drop at all. The other decos from uprisings have a decent drop rate, this seems to be nearly none existent. Idk if this is like a MM only deco or something, but the drop rate needs fixing.
  5. I completely agree with a lot of these, some not so much. 1-5, & 11-15 100% yes. The others 6 -10 I don't mind / object too, they just don't really matter to me as much. That said I'd like to add a few things as well, also not in any particular order either. 1) New combat classes. Tech classes with vibro blades, tech staffs, different force specs etc. You guys ever play any other mmos? There's a lot of different healing / tanking and dps play styles we don't come close to having, and that's a real shame IMO. Would also just like to point out, that not every new combat class needs a dot spec, since you guys are of the belief that every class needs one. (And buy you guys I mean the devs) 2) New warzone maps, with different sizes & objectives. I don't mean another hutt ball, with a new layout. I don't want another alderaan / yavin reskin either. Give us a 12 v 12, or 16 v 16. Let us use tanks, walkers etc as siege weapons. Give us shield generators to protect our bases from these siege weapons and turrets to fight back with. Make it new and fun, we need more warzone variety than what we have. 3) Un-prune some classes. Look I realize after years of complaining that we're not going back to the old ways, but some specs definitely need a few more buttons to hit. Either bring back some old abilities or add new ones to replace them . 4) Companions with their own unique abilities. Look even if you're giving them 1 or 2 new abilities in just one of the 3 different specs they have (tank / dps / heals) it would go a long way. There are a few who do have their own moves, Shae, HK, and some others, but by enlarge most are 1 companion, that's reskinned. 5) More customization for the current races. Some have plenty (humans, nautalons chiss) others need serious help (rattataki, cather, etc). 6) Give us a way to get old GS companions, and other stuff that is currently unavailable for reasons. 7) PvP rewards need to be fixed. 12 tokens for 1 old deco, that you could get 999 from achievements is not balanced in any shape way or form. Here's where I'm going to lose some folks, and that's fine. Eight) In the original game, flash points would use your crafting skills to get you a shortcut, or a small advantage for having someone in the group having it. But after that it was none existent. I know it's basically irrelevant to most people, but it's the little attention to detail that makes this seem like thought and care is given to what's made, rather than just slap something together so they don't complain, about lack of content. 9) Update on uprisings. Again I know most people don't care, but I actually do like them. Even so far as to go and solo them on vet mode. Up the rewards, add a few more uprisings as well that fits with the story. Make them relevant instead of just stuff that was long forgotten. 10 ) Please fix the codex. I know most people don't care, but those of us who are completionists it's really annoying that some of them just can't be done, cause the codex doesn't exist. 11) Bring back renown. It was nice to have something to do at end game. I also wouldn't object to amplifiers, but I know a lot of people didn't care for them. 12) Can we please have the ability to either only see our debuffs on the enemey, or have a better way to highlight our own debuffs? I don't want to have to resort to star parse in a raid, because there's 4 of the same debuff from the other 6 sorcs. 13) I feel like I should say something about the old on rails space missions, but nah I'm good, think that's it. And again most of the things DarthCasus said, cause that's very imporant.
  6. Don't think there is a consumable, but you can always take diplomacy, and max out your alignment much quicker than you otherwise would.
  7. This isn't quiet true. The reason was given, people were mad about conquest stealth nerfs, and the suggestion to what can be done was to just reverse it. That said I couldn't care either way, and thought it was funny that this is what was breaking the camel's back for some people. Especially when the devs have a history of making dumb and pointless decisions that alienate the player time and time again, especially since the launch of 7.0 already nerfed conquest rewards & progression and these people stuck around through that. Oh well. The only thing that sucks for me, is that I have notifications that people replied, and I don't even know what they said anymore, cause the thread got deleted. /shrug oh well life goes on.

  9. When I saw the title I immediately thought Kashyyyk, but given the choices you presented I would say either Alderaan or Taris. Alderaan cause I actually think the planet is visually pleasing (perhaps my favorite of them all), and would love to go back to it. Plus there's a lot of story that could be done with the politics there. Taris cause I would like to see what happens 10 years later in the timeline since we were there. Did the Republic abandon it, when the Empire came back to destroy it, or did the they attempt to rebuild it once again as a sign of hope and freedom? I'm not sure which one I want to see more at this point between those two. The only other one I'd be curious on, is Lehan cause I want to see what the Rakata are up to, however they'll probably remain a bigger disappointment than a redheaded stepchild, and I'd end up wishing I didn't know to start with.

  11. Because the devs never want us to forget that they don't know what the ..... they're doing. Edit : My personal opinion is that those things (stuff that was once available via achievements in abundance) should just cost credits. Make them a 100k credits a piece and then you're further combating inflation, while not requiring a full season's worth of tokens to buy a single deco.
  12. Honestly I think he's just trolling. There's no way he doesn't understand the difference between a single player mission that 95% of the people can beat, and an Op that on it's easiest setting is probably beaten by 10-15% of the player population (if that honestly), and requires co-ordination from your team mates as well.
  13. So all enemies in a 100m radius should die in front of you, due to your sheer awesomeness? I mean if they don't someone out there might not be able to beat the level, and we can't have that. At some point you just gotta say yea sorry we're not catering to that level of brain de ad activity. Rather than whining about it on the forums, people could actually look at their abilities to see what they do, or look at a guide or two. But nah F that, just come here and ask for more nerfs on an already brain de ad stage, that's the ticket....
  14. Seeing as thousands of people have completed this mission, it's not impossible. The problem is on the end of the keyboard.
  15. 1) I do yes. I have 6 tabs. General is for everything. Other tab got converted to just combat information only, nothing else. Then tabs dedicated to : Ops chat, Guild chat, Party chat, and the endgame / allies chat depending on server. The only thing is I leave whisper on in all chats just in case someone needs something from me as I have a specific chat tab on, I don't end up ignoring them by accident. Raid chat also has /say in it, cause sometimes (an example EV pylons) you want to just say something to your group and not the whole raid, rare but it happens. I believe party chat works for this too, but meh. And yes it's a pain doing it for all characters. I do it on the ones I play the most, but it is worth it in my opinion, and once you're done, you don't have to do it again unless you uninstall the game and come back later. 2) Haven't found a need to do this. Perhaps there's some advantage, but I think for me personally it would break my habit of looking at things where they are, as they are. I have almost everything enabled (minus tutorial, utility bar 2 and the world map overlay) without being cluttered up. So I don't really need to change it at all, just cause I'm healing, tanking or dpsing.
  16. Target, target of target, Focus Target all next to each other for ease of convenience. Rest is generally open to see what's going on. Akk dog shows where temporary ability bar is.
  17. As someone who's been here for years on and off, yes people were asking for more companion romance stuff (even just a silly letter here or there) for a long long time now. I don't really care either way, most of my toons didn't bother to romance anyone, but at least they're listening to some players even if it does takes years to get the ball rolling.
  18. I admit it's been years, since I played JK / SW story, but I swear one of them killed Sel Makor. In fact as I write this, I just noticed Darcmoon confirm the JK killing Sel so yea moving on. Yes, but the thing is I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of just beating the same villains over and over again. We beat Malgus like 3 times, the emperor 3+ times (depending on how you count it) I don't want to repeat this pattern with the kid, different body or not. We already fought her enough times. Now don't get me wrong I don't mind if she comes back in a different capacity just not as the big bad that we must stop, that would be lame. I'd be fine with this to a point. If this is more along the lines of Jadus comes back after scheming for the last decade or how ever long it's been, cool. I just don't want him to be built up as this all powerful force, that has amassed a powerful army as to do his bidding, or if it's "my power has increased a 100 fold, I am more powerful than the emperor ever was".... that's just junk writing. Galaxy is struggling for resources after so many years of war, so pulling a fresh army out of thin air is poor writing, (and we don't need another Zakuul) becoming incredibly powerful is also horrible lazy writing. Like sure I expect him to get stronger, just not over the top levels of strength that I feel the writers would go with this. Now on the other hand if he comes back, and turns the player against the imps / pubs, gets you to destroy yourselves, sows chaos, then swoops in and starts taking over. Solid, I'm sold, would love to see at least a half competent villain be written and see where this goes, rather than my power level is over 9000 I have a massive army bla bla bla. Let's just agree that these 3 do not need to come back. Let Revan rest, let the emperor stay dead, and let this plot that Malgus has be the last we see of him. It was fine to bring back Malgus after like 10 years, it's another to just keep using him over and over as a punching bag. Same with Vitiate, I really don't want to keep beating up grand pa again and again. Bringing both these points up as my answer is intertwined here. I don't have a problem with a mando civil war per say. I have a massive problem with it's execution, and I'm going to explain why RotHC despite doing the same thing, did it way better. Mandos are basically none force using warriors, and the Hutts hired a bunch of mercenaries, who are roughly on that level, perhaps a little below, depending on your head canon. So threat wise Mandos and Mercs are not that far apart. However in RotHC the Hutts found an isotope that created actual threatening weapons. Top of the line stuff (which was the only thing competing with Zakuul tech once that war began). Heck it takes 8 to 16 top notch heroes to take down a single droid. There was also a real threat of the planet blowing up in short order, and put urgency on you either saving the people, or the planet so you can farm more Isotope for your own needs. The game immediately showed you the Macguffin, and why it was important. It told you what it could do, and let you know that they're basically just scratching the surface of the Isotope's potential. The mando civil war is basically you follow Shae in her vendetta against Heta. Why? Don't know don't care, you just do. Which is more of a her problem, not mine. But okay she's an ally and all, so I guess I can help out. The Macguffin is some scary thing, that we don't know about for 2 years. Just oh it's "bad". /Facepalm. What happened to show not tell? Why do I actually care about the Mando civil war if I'm an evil bastard who's out for himself? If my evil Sith just finds Shae annoying there's nothing in this for me. At least with RotHC, I can justify trying to save Makeb so we can farm Isotope 5, and end the Republic once and for all, especially after Darth Marr tells you we're on the back foot and now losing to the Republic, so we need this. Sold, I can make the necessary jump from point A to point B of why this is important for us, and enjoy said storyline. So yes the Hutts can come back and be a threat again, but really the problem is the writing, and I fear that the writers would give us a horrible story here all the same. The Hutts by themselves are no more threatening than Mandos, but one of these storylines made sense and the other does not. In fact a lot of the story lines lately have not made much sense to me. Last but not least. I didn't watch Ahsoka. Actually truth be told I gave up on a lot of SW stuff that Disney has a hand in. Mando S1 & S2 was about the extent of my enjoyment of Disney stuff, and even then at times it got very dumb. That said I'm okay with either of these being a threat. They're kinda brainless villains with their own gimmick that the heroes can struggle against for a little while. Undead hordes or force immune aliens that some of the most powerful users in the galaxy couldn't do much against. In fact it would be like the reverse Kofte, where the story would probably make more sense from a none force user instead. Also I suppose you could also say the Rakata can make a come back if you really wanted to find a way to spin that.

I mean I remember as far back as S3, where people were complaining about companions being pointless in GS as we had too many already and they didn't even speak basic, so there was no attachment to them, and people kept asking for something different, instead of another pointless companion. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Me personally, I don't care either way, but I would like the previous GS companions to become available, for those of us who weren't here in S1, (or w/e season some else might of missed).

Would definitely approve of this, even if it is limited and to some degree pointless content (just leveling a system for the sake of leveling, sometimes the illusion of progress is enough to justify it). I wouldn't mind your idea of new titles. I also wouldn't mind expanding on stuff we've got. For instance new fast travel way points like Ossus, Manaan, and some other daily areas, like we have with CZ-198, Black Hole etc (even if I maxed those reps long ago). Maybe a rep boost perk, similar to xp perks that we have for each toon, or a guild bank option aside from just personal and legacy cargo holds. Since GTN stuff now no longer goes to mail, and the mail box is a bit more useless, maybe give us a personal gtn option so I don't have to run to a GTN every time to collect my $$, or could just put a few things up as needed. I'm sure there are other things that could be implemented but these are just a few ideas off the top of my head.
  21. Yea I can just exit the mek-sha stronghold and it's there, and then find the same location on another server that should have the unlock as well, but it didn't work for me for some reason. Will check it again later, when I get around to it. Thanks.
  22. Frontline beat me to it, both Fleet ones can be accessed at the supplies section and activated at their respected fleets. The only one I don't know about for sure is the Mek-Sha one, as I can't seem to figure out how to get that one unlocked again.

Mostly more time for RL stuff if I'm being honest, but finishing some missions on alts, that I haven't gotten around too, (like shroud questline), or other misc quests I couldn't be bothered with. GSF, pvp, try to get some harder to get achievements done if possible. Farm tech frags so i can craft more gold augs. Help some guildies, maybe roll an alt on a story I haven't played in a while. I'm sure there are more things that will come to mind, but not running the hamster wheel isn't a bad thing.

  25. No more than you can prove that it wasn't. Thing is, this game has always been plagued with bugs, several different bugs as far back as the release that have yet to be fixed. While annoying it's extremely rare that they would make someone legitimately quit playing the game, as bugs can be worked around despite their annoyance, and a few min of inconvenience isn't worth quitting the game over if you legitimately enjoy the game. Lack of new content while extremely disappointing is also nothing new for this game, sure some players will eventually leave because of boredom, obviously that's inevitable, but it's not in large droves all at the same time as happened with the release of 7.0, after having originally attracted a large number of people back, only to lose considerably more the following months. People don't stick around, when the game itself isn't fun, and just worse off than it was before. They don't go to the forums to complain over and over again, only to have it fall on deaf ears because the developers are too stubborn and prideful to listen to their player base. When the things they used to do, for enjoyment get revamped for the worse people leave. Make of that what you will, because you and I both know, no one has went and interviewed every person on why they left. At best they may have given Bioware a piece of their mind when they unsubbed, and Bioware's decision to reverse some of their decisions shortly after the exodus speaks volumes, but no, no one can actually provide physically evidence aside from Broadsword themselves (assuming they still have that feedback), and that's never going to happen.
