  1. No, it's not left ambiguous at all. You ARE the Emperor's Wrath. That's a fact. The Voice of the Emperor that you defeat on Voss even confirms that Servants 1 & 2 are the Emperor's Hands. No ambiguity here. Darth Baras lied to you in a vain attempt to manipulate you more, but at that point in the story you're already wise to his scheming.
  2. I wanted to switch my Battlemaster to crafted War Hero pieces, so I switched all the mods out. Last night I had the set bonus, today I log in and it's gone.
  3. As a Vengeance Jugg unbuffed in full Rakata 1209 DPS, after about 10 minutes of beating on the target dummy. Top 3 Damage: 1. Ravage 2. Force Scream 3. Bleeds I also have the kinetic damage trinket from Nightmare Mode Karagga's Palace, and it was consistently about 3% of my total DPS.
  4. I'm extremely disappointed because I've been waiting on ranked PvP since this game was released. This is going to make the game lose even more subscribers, and my server is already dying. It's one disaster after another with this game.
  5. I'll tell you right now that after 3 months of raiding, it's become pretty clear the Juggernauts are on the lower end of the DPS spectrum. Marauders do better DPS, hands down. I'm not saying that Juggernauts don't do respectable damage, but Marauders are, for the moment, superior in that area. This might actually be holding true. Basing this off my experiences in killing the Infernal Lords in EV, I'm usually within 3-5% of the first person to finish (basically 1 or 2 attacks). Like I said, we can DPS just fine, but it is clear that we do less DPS overall when compared other classes. From what plain observation has shown me, I think the DPS rankings look something like this: 1. Mercenary 2. Marauder 3. Sorcerer 4. Sniper 5. Juggernaut 6. Powertech 7. Assassin* 8. Operative* *I've only been in raids with Assassins and Operatives a handful of times, and never when gear was equal.
  6. Jaessa is one of the worst parts about the Sith Warrior story. The build up to receiving this companion is good, but as soon as you actually get her she becomes bland and uninteresting. As Darkside all she wants to do is kill kill kill, and her dialogue is terrible.
  7. Juggernauts uses Force Foci and Shield Generators. It's an offhand item that gives stats, but does not provide any sort "attack" in combat. As a Juggernaut, you cannot wield a second "weapon" in your offhand, only those two offhand items. Marauders use two lightsabers; one in each hand. Even so, their offhand lightsaber is essentially a stat stick: it will have the same stats as a Force Focus of the same quality. Most offhand "weapons" in the game are little more than stat sticks.
  8. Not true. He immediately starts casting Summoning the Force, then engages. I first tried this quest at level 26, and found it was too difficult. I came back at 29 and didn't even have to use Saber Ward. Both were dead before I even dropped below 50%. Brilliant and creative. I wish I had thought of that!
  9. I've actually been left at 0 HP before. Still, I think Endure Pain should really be looked at and, hopefully, changed. It would be a lot better if it just removed excess health, instead of taking away all the health it gave you.
  10. I would like to experience my class story line again, and perhaps see how I could have done it differently, but I'm not a fan of leveling alts of the same class. Will there ever be an option to "restart" our class quest line?
  11. Sorno barely tickles, even in Nightmare mode. I've tanked NiM Sorno as full Vengeance spec in DPS gear and Shien form. Not only that, but Sorno's "Enrage" is a soft enrage; his damage goes up slowly. Vengeance is certainly a tanky DPS spec, but I think you may be underestimating the effectiveness of Sonic Barrier. It may not be an amazing talent, but it can help make damage intake more steady, which is helpful for healers. Still, I'm sure a hybrid spec would be fine for OPs, assuming your healers didn't mind. As long as you have a good balance between mitigation and threat that fits your raid group, I say go for it.
  12. I've gotten a single 5k Impale that I can remember, and that was on someone I just bumbed into on Ilum, who clearly had 0 expertise. In order to get the 2.5k medal I usually have to target someone who isn't geared, or pop a trinket and/or adrenal.
  13. You forget the part where you only need to worry about fighting 1 giant mob. There is no boss in the current end-game content that requires any real AoE. No. I'm afraid it's not.
  14. I play Vengeance as my main PvP spec, and I can tell you that it's rare for me to get more than 200k. Still, I don't have trouble killing anyone but the most geared Healers. Having played both Rage and Vengeance I would say that Rage is -the- damage spec; I absolutely crush people when I play Rage spec, and 300-400k damage a WZ is average for me. Vengeance plays more like a high damage tank, and lacks any significant burst. For instance, on a 500+ Expertise target, my Impale crits for about 2300-2400 (with no cooldowns up). The extra DoT damage is nice, but nothing really spectacular. Vengeance' strength really comes from 2 talents: Unstoppable and Huddle. CC immunity on a 15 second cooldown, and two 20% Damage Reduction short cooldowns make Vengeance play very tanky if played right. Basically, Rage has far better damage for PvP, but Vengeance does have an edge when it comes to survivability. For now I'll continue to play Vengeance over Rage until rated WZs come out and I have a reliable team to back me up.
