  1. Does anyone know the exact requirements to get the Vector mission with this patch? Its not showing up for my Imperial Agent who has done all the main story chapters. I'm trying to figure out I'm bugged (pardon the pun) or if I also need to have done some of the non-solo content. Internet search hasn't yielded any info so would appreciate any thoughts. Edit: figured it out. Replaying the last chapter unlocked the missing alert.
  2. Yeah definately seemed a 'fine print moment.' But wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that they weren't intentionally trying to be deceptive on that image. A single rare vehicle added along with the critters would have made it clearer. Walker or one of the Thrones, for example. But thanks for the input. Much appreciated.
  3. The Vast Majority aren't in this thread. Only some people are. That would be my point. I heard people actually in game complaining about the view.
  4. Anyone know the answer to the topic question? The store picture shows only animal mounts, however the GTN defines mounts as both animals and vehicles. I'd hate to find out the hard way. Good value if just animal ones. But terrible value if the huge array of other vehicles are factored in.
  5. Lets not confuse 'some' liking it as a 'vast majority.' I prefer the original closeup view. Especially since the zoomed out view shows colors incorrectly. It color matches things that aren't really color matched.
  6. Kira Carsen definately. With Vette being a very close second. They're both alot of fun.
  7. "Whatever happens in Nar Shaddaa, stays in Nar Shaddaa."
  8. Akaavi would win because she's Batman. The wife and I couldn't stop ourselves from humming the Elfman Batman soundtrack every time she leapt out of the shadows, kicked butt and grappled away afterwards during the Smuggler plotline.
  9. My Evil Clone! True Story. I originally created both Sith and Jedi versions of my character back when the game started on separate servers. Identical in nearly every way except which side they were on. RP-wise I played them as if they were the same character just took a different direction at a certain point that determined which side they ended up on. Anyway, long story short, server merges happened, and my Jedi Original version lost his name to the Sith Alternate version. Thus becoming my ultimate nemesis. As part of my hastily revived RP, its unknown which is really the clone. I should call this 'Orphan Jack.'
  10. I Duo 100% of the time with my wife. I feel Duoing is the best way to enjoy the game. You get all the fun of multiplayer group quest conversations, while still having your companion characters too. And its quite fun watching coming along for the other's class quests to see how differently the stories play out when someone else is in charge. Playing this way really made us appreciate how many conversational paths went into this game.
  11. I like the cut of your Jib, and I completely agree. Revel is my favorite too, for largely the same reasons. My wife's favorite is Talos: She loves how Giddy he is...reminds her of Marcus from the Indiana Jones movies. She is so sad he's not romancable!
  12. I'll be playing some other game. I played during the first one and hated how badly I ended up overleveling the content. I really love the journey, and hate rushing towards the endgame. Crazy, I know. Not that huge a deal, but I wish there was an option to turn off these things. Definately looking forward to the expansion regardless.
  13. Class changes can't happen due to the story/quest/companion structure. I would not be surprised if there was a way to at least change your specialization in the future, (say from Jedi Sentinel to Jedi Guardian) since that has no effect on the story.
  14. The main problem isn't just the loss of the second pistol. Its that unlike other rifle users, she cant fill that second hand with something else, like a generator or shield. That means she'll have much lower stats and tech power if you don't go dual pistol. But at low levels it wont be that noticable a difference.

The first time you exited the shuttle from Korriban you should have seen a quest on the first sith you see up the elevator on Fleet that points you to the guy you select at. Its possible I suppose if you somehow got off Korriban at a level so low that the level 10 quest didnt show up you missed it. That person is standing right next to your class trainer on the station. There's also one on Drom Kaas I think in a similar spot. You pick your advanced class at level 10 so you've really been missing out if you're 18 now.
  16. Yeah this is the only part that annoys me. We were grouped in the middle of a heroic 4 area and wouldn not have been there if we had the slightest warning this was coming. Restarting the servers is fine. Just in game warning please. If you can continually bug me with server transfer messages, you can let me know when the servers are going down too. (edit: heh Ely said the same thing as that last paragraph while I was typing it. Great minds.)
  17. The marriage part wasn't required. Only finishing all available conversations. If you start a relationship you need to finish all conversations until you can't have anymore. But breaking things off accomplishes that goal. As does turning down proposals. My BH fixed Mako up with Torian instead, bypassing the entire relationship. Some classes have multiple romances available for a gender. In that case it would be impossible to marry them both.
  18. The perks are for finishing their main storyline. The romantic storyline is separate and optional. You are not forced to romance or marry anyone.
  19. There's not a story option to put one on him. But theres an actual shock collar you can put on him as headgear. (Belsavis Social Item) And in the 1.3 update coming out today, that social shock collar will adapt to medium armor for him. So you can keep him 'punished' without sacrificing stats. (And Thumbs up on the user name. I love Molly Carpenter!)
  20. Companion quests have levels (in journal) but level isnt a requirement to get them. Availablility depends on affection level and where you are in your main class storyline. You'll need to meet both requirements.
  21. My Search-Fu is terrible today, so bear with me if this has been asked a thousand times before. My issue. My wife and I play on two different North East PvE-RP servers: Shien and Ebon Hawk. One for Republic, other for Imperial characters. Now even though you've been very reluctant to use the 'M' word (Merge), thats essentially what is happening. I say with all honesty that last night on Shien, there was only One other person on the Fleet station besides my wife and myself. One. Now while its awfully cozy in theory to have a server just for me and my wife, in practicality its not so good. Its painfully obvious that Shien is going to be closed at some point in the extremely near future. And even it it weren't, there is no one else on the server. But with recent and upcoming changes to Cross side mail/brokers/etc its not as terrible as it once was to have all our characters on the same server. Rolling all the PVE-RP servers into one is a sensible enough move, and good for everyone. Problem is, of course that there's just not enough Character slots to make it happen. Let alone enough slots to take advantage of Legacy unlocks, new races, etc. So as it currently stands we have the choice of playing on a nearly unplayable server until its inevitable shutdown, or making Sophie's Choice like decisions of which of our favorite children to kill off to make room on the same server. This is not fun, and its not helpful to long term enjoyment of your game. Especially when all your big new draws are legacy features that work best for new characters. Anyway I ramble: Please open up more slots per server in some capacity. I don't care if those sots are free, open up every time you get a level 50 or if I have to Pay for each additional slot. Just help me out.
  22. Yeah I use Vette pretty much full time. With occasional visits from Jaesa and Pierce. The only time I ever use Quinn is for my wife's Class quests. Whenever we do those, the other person pulls out a healer companion. That way the person who's quest it is can focus more on the story than watching health bars. And also play it with whatever companion they like best. But the droid works for that too.
  23. Yeah Broonmark is a complete waste of space on my ship that I never wanted. I actively disliked him even during his plotline and never would have let him on board if I had a choice. Same is true of Quinn. I saw the writing on the wall with him before I left Taris. Neither would be on my team if I had any choice in it. But really most of the final Imp companions I find equally worthless. Inquisitor and Bounty Hunter ones for example. Scorpio at least looks nifty and doesnt copy the class of her player. (Even if her personality is a little scary)
  24. But you could also look at affection gains after the event as 'rebuilding the trust' between you both.
  25. Forgive and Forget went out the window the second he did his gloaty face while electrocuting my wife. Attacking me I've got no issue with, but he picked the wrong line to cross. So now my Quinn working his undead (rakghoul face) arse off cleaning my ship while wearing Vette's old slave collar (aka prisoner social gear). But your Quinn looks quite nice. Well done.
