Aslong as there is a overpowered spec availible for us the chance of them buffing something else even unrelated is minimal, the ammount of classes that has 3 decent specs is quite minimal. I cannot say how much i agree with the op. What i enjoy most about this game is the story and not only my own but my companions but the sad fact is that i have on all my chars been stuck using my healing companion more than anything and it is the only companion i maxed outside my first char (which has all rep maxed on all companions and all stories played). I have 10 char or so, two max lvls another 2 above 40 and a host of 10-30 ones. Out of all those chars i mainly spec dps but even trying to hybrid tank it for example or hybrid heal (specing full heal or full tank for lvling is litteraly like nerfing yourself) yet i cannot do anything with any companion other than healer, healer is also great for offtanking, healer is less reliant on gear than dps and even worse tank companions. I wish bw would have made the others worthy because i miss their story.

Can all the jug/guardian (and in some degree sent/maras) stop asking for buffs, vigilance/vengance wont get touched (unfortunatly) before the utter retardness of smash specs are nerfed into the abyss where it belong, bigger noskill braindead lolspec cannot be found in the game. Yes i do play a marauder and a guardian, yes i play it as vigilance and vengance and yes yes i want it buffed because they mediocer at best or atleast require far more than most spec out of the player to even be mediocer but i am also fully aware that before the 4 button faceroll uber aoe spec is crushed to useleness it wont happend. Aoe specs should always suck, the point of them is that hitting enough targets should make up for it not have aoe alpha strike damage.

traditionaly ? what are you smoking ? pvp gear is a new concept to start with and from the day it came it always was except for some pieces never considered BiS for anything other than pvp (even without the pvp stat addition) BM gear having equal stats+expertise is a change that will ruin the game for many, i know i wont pay a cent more if solo quing half asleep nublets who think just adding more time to the venture should earn them the best gear (aka bm gear now that its so uber easy to reach bm) yet i still have to raid to get worse gear ? seriously. Worst change in this game, if rakata does not have a higher stat budget or that expertise is withdrawn from the stat budget the only sane way of gearing will be pvp, which is easier and can be done solo....way to listen to all the pvpers who are leaving for gw2 anyway and pissing the rest of us off.

ppl less panties in a twist. emergency maintainance at bad hours like this is ALWAYS due to an exploit/bug/direct issue that needs asap changing. two answers I dont run fps because pre-50: -took to long to find a group for them and you leveled past most of them quicker -to many was not vital to the story line (like taral/maelstrom) -the rewards are simply not intresting enough and will be even less so with 1.2 and crittable craft oranges. -low drop rate, aka the risk/time invested vs reward is loooow How to fix: better drops, more drops, more story. post 50 -The loot is plain garbage both on normal and hard mode. -The instances are so unrewarding and in a time vs effort on hard mode they are actually gonna set your character progress back versus doing ANYTHING else activly in the game. -Its far easier doing dailys/gtn and/or craft than doing normal/hard modes, they are all in all already dated once you hit 50. (you need a master level that offers rakata tokens and is significantly harder and require that lvl gear) -The eq system is out of whack, the initial gear and the requirements for the first ops or hardmodes is so low that anyone with any sense simply gets full centurion gear the second they hit 50. The fact is that centurion/champion is so good you dont need to replace it untill rakata, basicly pve wise you bunnyleap past both tier 1 and 2, the ease of getting pvp gear as you can get it during the whole lvling vs the pve gear is absolutly staggering. -Token rewards are borderline useless, the ammount of tokens/commendations you need to get 1 item even for fricking tionese is absurd especially comparing to the ease of getting pvp eq. solution: cut the prizes of token gear by 60% atleast, 80% for tionese, make hard mode drop columni tokens not tionese, uppgrade the loot aka normal mode 124-126 and hm 134-36.

so basicly nerf a class based on that 4 ppl combined their aoe attacks ? nerf force quake, nerf mortar volley nerf dfa etc etc etc etc Any 4 big aoes piled ontop of eachother will do the exact same effect an in actuality slam prolly is harder to build up due to the backloaded nature of their burst dps.

im failing to see how so many of you missunderstand the difference between free beta/random testing and a PAID position albeit a temporary one. When you are paid its work not just your subjective opinion and thus its more handy for bw to deal with it close. I for one think the step back to paying ppl to lvl check/qc is a step in a waaaaay better direction and a step no other mmo has taken. The last 10 years with the introduction of the internet en masse we seen almost every company release half finished products even in singel player games as they always been able to patch it where before we where seeing releases of finished and quality tested games. Relying on free testers is not only bad but also in most cases unfortunatly hurtfull to the game and a step back to paying people to do a job is a pretty vital part of the industry.

everyone against this is not a healer, the fact the healer takes more skill, more awareness and more patiance than any other char in swtor regardless of what healer it is seems to be lost here and the marking just simplifies an already retardedly easy job of dps players who in reality need to be forced to the same problems healers have. unfortunatly world pvp with only 2 factions is forever autofail especially when one faction is hugly more popular which in this game is the zergysith. if you want world pvp that works you have to wait for gw2, just avoid it untill then.

Agian in 1.2 bm, champ whatever is nothing anyone will talk about, its ALL about your rating then and you will have tons more cred as a high rated valor rank 2 char than a low rated valor 68 char, no one cares you got tons of time to grind with only how good your team is.

dont you get ranked warzones in 1.2 ? where obviously higher rated teams match up versus other higher ranked etc ? its just a month to its supose to be launched..

while the op is dramatic he is right in a way. There should be some way for non raiders to get it but it should require epic quest perhapps including multiple steps -clear all flashpoints on hardmode -find rare mats in the world -kill rare spawn champion mob something to equal a few weeks of raiding and frankly i think its fine. Everyone should have some sort of path forward without being told to play with 7 others (even if its my prefered way) we just have to make the effort as great NOT put them on ez mode vendors.

stop lying. both on my 50 and my 44 i skipped multiple planets, when i say skipped i mean i skipped every singel quest beside class quest. On my 50 i skipped belsavis and tattooine..two of the biggest planets around for example. To the op, if you do just some space missions and a pvp game or 3 its fine, if you just do normal quests and nothing else and quicktravel/avoid mobs during quests then you will be short, this game is not suited for quest speed lvling.

Yes its actually needed to be able to stand apart. Since this game in all its infitinite wisdom decided to give everyone pretty much the same gear (which unfortunatly is the only way to achieve character progress) looks was/is important and it does not end up hurting game balance. Even gw2 with their insta80+allgear pvp chars has realised this and locked their cooler models behinde hard achievments in both pvp and pve, i belive the lead dev quote is something similar to "we made it reasonable easy for every player to achieve the same power lvl but the people who do dungeons etc will look good doing it" To remove any sense of achievment for much harder content is simply idiotic, this games content is not even time based heck most guild worth being called a guild does the ops in less than 2 hours and pugs in 3, the magenta crystal aint hard nor time consuming to get, just some focused effort. So yes, we do deserve some unique looking stuff for clearing stuff designed for us (nightmare mode, hardmode was specificly designed for the people who play games more competivly) why are you crying over it ? seriously is your envy that great ? plz dont bring up time or nolife etc, i bet i play less than most ppl who considers this a HOBBY and if you dont then why are you here moaning ,
