Torstatus only gathers the server status. The thing is that due to the transfers, the destination servers have been increased on what cap value is concerned. So a "Heavy" status today could be "Full" a few weeks ago. I hope this game grows. I for one, have been telling my friends about the game and how they can try for free. I believe some of them might even purchase and subscribe.

Here are my answers: 1 - Other classes (being players the right word) think about Guardians as mainly tanks and often unfit for DPS so I guess Vigilance is underrated. 2 - Playing as DPS (Vigilance) Guardian, I sometimes find the DPS output as kind of weak when compared to other classes which have greater damage output. Some non-brown gear would be appreciated. Everything is brown or brownish in color. Give us some more variety on what color is concerned. Besides that I really enjoy the class, visuals and animations. I know the last sentences were more about the gear than the spec but still, I thought I should add those :-P

The problem is not the game, is you. You built the wrong expectations. This is nothing like EVE (I play both). If you're thinking of an EVE type of gameplay when you came here, you picked the wrong game. EVE is sandboxed, this one is theme park MMO. Right from the start they are pretty different animals. Also, you should know that a MMO is not the kind of game to start playing and beat the game and it's done. Is an overtime experience where, besides the game itself, we get to know nice (and not so nice) people and play for the social aspect it provides.

I was looking forward to some decent coverage here. A video of the full panel would be great too. I like to believe that they're going to post something and are getting things ready by now (editing, writing...)

If they'd make the Mac version downloadable like the PC version, I think many people who runs the game through Windows on Mac would get the native client. Making people purchase another copy to play would be stupid.

I was on the verge of buying a desktop Mac and I'm a long time supporter for a native client for Mac. But the thing is Apple doesn't offer a desktop Mac with decent specs for gaming. The GPUs are weak for such a big resolution on 27" iMac and the Mac Pro is overkill for my wallet and outdated. I decided to go the PC way at least for games. I have a Mac Pro from late 2008 and I will only buy another Mac when my machine will not be able to handle the OS.

Vivendi is selling its part on Activision Blizzard which will continue to exist. Same thing with different shareholders.

This ^ I just don't understand all the "allergy" to this game from some people! If they like WoW ,go to WoW! It's still the most played! This one is no threat to WoW as we all already saw. Also, I don't support the idea of going F2P. F2P works when the game is released with that business model from the start. If they really are going to put this F2P, make it a mixed model: who wants to pay monthly fee gets all as it is today, the F2P players will have to ditch some cash for some stuff. I think the problem with getting new players to SWTOR is the box price. Paying for game plus sub it's a no go for a lot of people. They should go with something like 20$ as in EVE. If EA is switching the big boss, I hope it changes for better.

I think they should make 16 slots available per server so we could have one of each advanced classes in each faction. Of course there's some work involved like redrawing the Legacy UI, related data persistence and coding but in the end would be the right decision.

This is not a regular situation. It may be usual after patch releases but most of the time we have the weekly scheduled maintenance and you have the remaining days of the week to play. I guess you just had bad luck this time. In my country we use to say "no money, no vices". If money is a problem you should pick less subscription based games. On this one you pay $15/month which makes 50 cents a day. As maintenance don't take all day, you're losing a few cents every down time. Also, if you are a student you shouldn't play so many time consuming games but that's just my opinion and it's your call.

This sums up my thoughts. Coming here to complain about maintenance is a waste of time. Just do something else. I didn't even bother to read the remaining posts on the thread.

Has the free trial up to level 15 already begun? I have some friends looking forward to try the game but the current seven days trial is kind of short due to their time constraints.

Look, BW made the mess by not having distributed the pop evenly. Now they have to find a fair solution and not splitting us like some are angels and others are demons. With the sharding tec they can raise the cap and let us all in.

I try to understand. But I can't on what PVP EU English servers are concerned. You let almost all servers transfer to Tomb of Freedon Nadd and let 3 alone. If you don't let us go to Tomb, the pop will be unbalanced even if you put the other 3 servers together! I have chars on Legion of Lettow and it had a lot of people at the beginning but now are almost abandoned chars that many of us would like to move to Tomb too. Joining the 3 that are left will never have a decent amount of people to play. Please look at this situation! It's unfair!
