  1. Can anyone state, who has completed the transfer, whether or not raid lockouts are reset or carried over when transferring a toon? Inquiring minds....
  2. The interview was good, and sounds like Nightmare is coming, but it sounds like it has fallen into the "coming soon" pool and not this round of testing. So unless its put in a new patch on PTS next week, it sounds like we're still waiting.
  3. So, As a semi-hardcore raider, I look forward to new challenges with each major content patch. Hard modes are not a real challenge right now in Denova, once you get the basic mechanics down and there is a HUGE margin for error. Our guild tested the Denova content on PTS when it was live, and it was HARD. Really hard. The enrage timers were tighter, there were more mechanics and to my knowledge no one killed Toth & Zorn on HM 16m until they nerfed the heck out of the encounter (which is okay for HM and SM). But there were other mechanics in place like a huge knockback that made the encounter difficult, you couldn't afford to make mistakes. It was NIGHTMARE difficulty. It has been nearly 2 months since the release of 1.2 and we still have no sign of Nightmare mode being enabled for Denova. We were promised more mechanics, difficult encounters and a whole new level of gear for defeating at the nightmare level. What is the hold-up? Can we get word if this has simply been scrapped or if it is coming SOON. 2 months, Bioware puts together another major content patch, with no new operations or flashpoints and can't put together nightmare mode for an already existing operation? Our guild was looking forward to helping test Nightmare mode, or having it released without testing with 1.3 (both are fun and exciting ways to release content), and this is a huge let down. First ranked warzones scare away quality PVP players. Now you're letting down the semi-hardcore to hardcore PVE raiders. Can we get some dev love on this thread? Give us some indication if there is a light at the end of the tunnel? We really don't want to be raiding the same 5 encounters for a total of 4 months before getting to try something new.
  4. You can't currently RE with no mods in it. I took my campaign pants and put cheap 1k green mods in it, RE'd got lucky and learned the pattern. Best of luck.
  5. Yeah, fresh 50s aren't even SUPPOSED to go into EV/KP story mode, the design is as follows: Level 50 - Normal & HM Flashpoints - Story mode EV/KP - story mode explosive content. Granted many players can jump some points depending on guild size and expertise, but nowhere did anyone state that a fresh 50 should be in Explosive Content story mode. It is tuned to columi level gear, not quest greens/oranges.
  6. This is why raiding guilds hate "casual" people who complain over and over and over again to developers demanding encounters be nerfed. This fight is not overtuned. It is tuned to hard mode (aka you should be in full rakata). The fight is fairly forgiving but still challenging. That being said, the devs have stated that hard mode is going to be more difficult than story mode. This boss is not expected to be killed by a random pug, it does require communication and skill, things you don't generally find a random pug. Killing this boss is a milestone and an achievement. If you don't want to wipe a bunch of times, don't raid.
  7. Story mode is as easy as EV/KP if you know the mechanics. People are banging their heads against the wall because the strategies aren't set in stone and published on every website. Give it a few weeks and people will be facerolling through the content. It's pretty established that hardcore guilds go in, kill the bosses share the strats and then try harder content. EV and kp seem like cakewalks now because you know what to do when you walk in the door. People don't know EC content yet and that is why they are having a hard time. Hell on Story Mode you can ignore mechanics and steamroll the bosses as it stands.
  8. The enrage is really tight, as it should be. Great that people having to really break things down, looking at gear, abilities and how they play to defeat an encounter. Nice work, keep at it, feels really good getting him down (and his little dog too).
  9. Great, glad to hear we're not the only ones clearing this content! Congrats to everyone who downed Nightmare Pilgrim!
  10. Developers, We killed Nightmare Pilgrim this evening, the weekly quest was completed and awarded 16k credits but did not award any black hole comms or any reward outside of the credits. Not sure if this is working as intended but it was a bit disappointing to not have a tangible reward for the weekly quest. Thanks!
  11. Not sure if any other guilds have been attempting the new world boss. <Cali Killed Nox> has gone in on live server and killed him at 9:54pm CST. This was a great challenge and was a LOT of fun to fight. We look forward to some more great encounters in the future!
  12. I love when people say this, not having cleared the content themselves.
  13. There are 5 new boss encounters. Do not forget about Nightmare Pilgrim the 16m world boss. The only boss that drops campaign boots.
  14. It did drop it directly, and one of our raiders RE'd it for the pattern. Nightmare Pilgrim also dropped campaign boots.
  15. There are already a few developers working on a tool that combines individual combat logs into a usable raid-wide tool.
  16. The game is set up so well you don't need a leveling guide, just play and enjoy the story, you will be 50 in a very short period of time.
  17. It was changed, not this last patch but the one before. He wasn't using his stacking dot properly (only counting 13 players) and the AOE damage from reticles was significantly buffed. Was it noticeable?
  18. I would personally find unyielding titles to be rather minuscule in the realm of problems that need to be fixed.
  19. As an operative end game raider I have not had any aggro issues. The buffs are greatly appreciated and they work out well in ops.
  20. It can be done, most anything can be exploited if someone puts their mind to it. However, something simple like requiring combat logs in addition to a screenshot with a minimum amount of confirmations before being counted, really does limit how much ONE individual can do. An enterprising troll right now can really mess up the site without a lot of effort or time. If you increase the amount of hurdles, the site gains notoriety and clout, and draws more people in. The CONCEPT of the site works, there just need to be hurdles to exploitation. The operators of the site have been putting time and effort into the website, thankfully the trolls and kiddies have made it possible to see the exploitability of the site and how it can be corrected. Just require 10/5 Combat logs per kill and verify them that way, its a good start for 1.2
  21. Has anyone attempted this encounter since it was changed in the last patch? I believe we will be trying to do this boss next week.
