Well there is no easy or hard in leveling in a mmo, it always happens all it takes is time. I have played WoW, CoH EQ2 and a few others and the leveling in some of those games is straight up mind numbing painful. So off the bat it is not a question of difficulty it is a question of enjoyment. Many of us have been conditioned with years of other MMOs to believe that the "grind" to max level should be a painful boring and unenjoyable experience; Since this MMO is story driven the leveling seems to be much smoother since you are following a story and feel that you are actually accomplishing something rather than grinding in the plaugelands. Easy or Hard is irrelevant. You just are not used to a game that is actually fun to level

All I can say is WOW, and WHY? It escapes me why you would want to limit your control and make doing things more cumbersome? I have nothing against you console kids(Well maybe I have a little against you) but seriously if you want to play a PC game at a a reasonable level then getting used to PC controls is the first step. But like a guy in another post said, if you are on a PvP server people are gonna chew you up spit you out and then go beat up your Dad if you are trying to PvP with a controller..

Sounds to me like you would be a lot happier playing "The Sims".. People had no problem buying into WoW which is by any standard the most successful MMO to date. I don't know about you but I bought this game to be a Sith Lord, NOT an interior decorator...

Space combat is fun little time waster, nothing more, nothing less. If you guys crave aerial combat, just take take a break from TOR and go play the new Ace Combat game.

Well with a 40 minute queue, I am discouraged from actually going to pick up my preorder tomorrow. GG BioWare, Way to lose a customer before you got any of my money.

My preorder is fine but since there is a 40 minute queue on my server. When the grace period is over I think I will just go back to giving Blizzard my money

Stuck in queue again.. Well I had preordered a CE but I won't be picking it up now. In two days when the grace period is over if there is still a queue on Black Reaper you have lost my business as well as my brothers and three cousins.. I will not pay for a product that you can't deliver on.

So even after all your adjustments I am looking at half hour queue, and as I am sitting here I am watching the queue time increase. GG BioWare I am no officially NOT buying the CE and unless there is a change I won't be buy the game at all. You have a two day grace period..

If the queues become reasonable yes, if not I may not even pick up my Collectors Edition.

I would be down for boycotting going live until the queue times are brought down to less than ten minutes for EVERY server. Not just mine. We have to stand together or EA will happily step on us all.

I just hope there launch plans involve actually arranging it so I don't have to decide I want to play three hours in advance to allow for a queue... I am seriously concerned this game will be over before it begins if they keep acting like the ridiculous queue times are a minor problem rather than a deal breaker. They need to step up soon or many of us might decide to forgo our CE and just get the standard if we decide to pick up the game at all. I work too hard for my money to pay a company for a service they are either unable to deliver. Of course they may be so arrogant as to believe we will play the game no matter how bad the queues are but that would be a serious error in judgement Flame on fanboys I am ready

Played thru the beta and launch of WoW. We didn't have these issues on my server..

They have my five bucks for the preorder and I was planning on picking up my CE on Tuesday but unless I see a marked improvement I don't think I am going to bother. Prolly just get the standard if I buy the game at all. Blizzard has made some major mistakes but I never had to wait 3 hours to play World of Warcraft.. Oh and @ your blog post. All of our servers are freakishly overpopulated is NOT an insight. This is not a free to play game, when we pay for a product we expect you to deliver and if you can't we will move on to a company that can.. Anything over half an hour is not MANAGEABLE or REASONABLE.. When you call 911 and expect an ambulance use what you feel their response time should be as the mark of what a manageable and reasonable queue time is. Smoke, mirrors and friendly sounding blogs will NOT fix this problem. Believe me the clock is ticking if it isn't fixed BEFORE Tuesday this could become very grim indeed especially if the development figures I have seen for this game are true.

OP Although you are a little bit but hurt I do respect that you put it on you for misunderstanding. You are a better person than the 99% of people who rage at BioWare for their mistake. Seriously people we live in a day and age where Geico is offering to save you UP TO $500 dollars; we should all understand that Geico is not guaranteeing us a $500 dollar savings. People should be thanking BioWare/EA for extending EGA out to 7 days rather than raging at them.
