yo sir are f*ckign amazing. for 3 days now i have been trying everything from dpi scaling the lot. i knew something int eh patch had screwed the game up, let alone the charecter loggin issue that caused me to redownload the whole game.. (another issue) but much like the original poster, i was starting to lose my head, and moving the social bar from top middle of my screen has actually sorted the issue. this should be stickied quiet frankly, Great to know that another usless UI bar which no one wanted , has caused even more annoyances.. You should work for bioware, as uve solved an issue quicker .. Kudos

so when we going to get answers on how to solve this issue. Ive tried deleting the Bitraider folder, which caused the game to verify files, and stil the charector screen is locked.. This patch is a total disaster, and your incompetence of applying a patch with no communication through forums or twitter has plenty of people all stuck woundering, in this day of age.. no one should be having to re-download / delete files to actual get a game to work, that previously did work before Your patch screwed it all up.

exactly this.. i was playing the game fine, switching back and forth between my alts, setting up my crafting, then all of a sudden the gamne goes in to quick play mode.. so i cant log in to any of my charectors and the download bar isnt even moving from 0.00% total fcking shambles of a patch to be honest

ya u can take mods out, and when u go to trade in u can only trade it in for exact same name.. e.g. force-Mystic = force-Mystic (not f-master/or stalker)

so 50s killing 25s u can call that pvp? are u 1 of these guys that doesnt lvl past 49 so he can gank all the lower lvl in wz? so u can get satisfaction of wanting to be gd?

i agree totally with your post, very safe to see some1 that can actually post an acurate discussion to all classes. i especially like the truthfullness about the above(copied bit). my stats are in my avatar, and being hit by 4.5k and 7.5k hit within 3sec just caused me to say fck this game, its beyond stupid on how much dps they can put out, peeps says run away kite etc, when most of the games now require u to be stood near the cap point, so its improbably to be running around, Respect to u for your truthfulness, and hopefully Dev might do something bout it, although personally i cant see them doin sh*t till every1 left for Diablo 3 or guild wars, then their be asking why has this happened.

agree with u totally... sentinals are so OVERPOWERED its unreal, im hitting 1156 expertise,war hero schematics (with my BM mods) and all my gear is augmented, with 2 pieces of bought warhero gear, i have a friend on the otehr side that basically is around champ/bm gear he can hit me for 4.5k then around 7k in 2 hit, something to do with combat spec -master strike and ravage.. how teh fck can any class come close to that, yes it seem like a while, in due respec being a sorc(and squishest class in teh game) shouldnt we be 1 of teh hardest hitting classes. regardless of who where fighting, before patch i was hitting for 1200 a tick on force lightening now im hitting for about 400-600 a tick,, as i dont c any nerf in patch notes, really woundering why all of sudden,, nearly every class in game can hit harder and quicker.. whilst having enough armor to actually make a sorc look sh*t

i constantly top of dps score card and i use all madness, (with a few inlightening) so your point is well completly wrong.. if your not scoring high dps then 2bh u dont know how to play a sorc in madness. and any extra % of hp helps, yes it might not be massive, but it can make a difference

nothing wrong with knockback, due to the fact your sorc shouldnt b stood anywhere near the tank, hes ranged class, so if their stood right by u then tell them to move away.. end of day if sorc is at max range and adds come towards him knockback can put the mobs bk near the tank and stop the sorc takin dmg.

love how every1 quotes CoD, doesnt CoD that have ability to summon dogs and choppers at certain levels.. caus i dont ever remenber having those treats when i played casual, o yer doesnt Battlefield 3 have progression in weapons? fact being u can whine about gear progression, but bioware has made it so F**king easy to get gear, no1 should moan about any gear porgression, doing your daily WZ gains u gear quick enough, l

this game has become so easy to obtain valour why shouldnt their be any gear progression, u have plenty of oportunities to raise your valour rank all way to 50 ( wasnt that the whole point in splitting 50s from lower char, to stop the lower getting rolled? and with tokens in every bag why shouldnt u be forced to spend time earning your gear, most peeps that pvp hit 40+ valour ranks before they hit 50 making the last part of BM grind very easy, also so many arguments about rakata gear being = to BM gear, if pvp wont be based on gear how will WZ become fair? as stats on pvp gear are considerable lower, surely kitting out in pve gear will give u an advantage? or is all stats goin to be Standard for all classes? the idea about MMO is to work for your gear, if your pve'r or pvp'r, you strive to obtain teh best gear for your char. i h8 pve (social 1) so is it fair that caus my pvp gear has such lower stats to pve gear, i should b excluded from HM/raids etc.? as their are better geared pve'r out there wouldnt the best option b to just implement warzones based on valour ranks themselves? again its so easy to gain valour, people would advance thro the ranks with gear comparable to others in wz. again making those pve'r work for their pvp gear, rather than QQ about unfairness of expertise.. in the end u play the game how u want to .. but peeps shouldnt qq about getting rolled, no1 told u to play pve all time, caus if u played pvp u'd c gear is far 2 easily gained. so easy that at valour 63 i have completed all companions in champion gear, but still only have 3 pieces BM< gear on my char, if u cant earn it, then u dont deserve it. same as i dont deserve rakata set.
