  1. Raids aren't the definition of pve. Where is the other pve (the pve that most people do ie solo pve). I'm feeling no love for pvers at all :/
  2. This^ Make endgame crafting. And make it good.
  3. I see 12/12 (12 Dec) then 12/1 (12 Jan) then 10/2 (10 Feb)...so seeing a 2 day jump?
  4. It's a new system, not just passing content. If the system is important to pve players then setting it in pvp area makes it exclusionary to the majority of players who rolled on a pve server so they don't get open world pvp forced on them. Speculative feedback at this point is necessary, as the HK-51 forced pvp shows Bioware does not yet understand forced pvp is not wanted - they could easily be doing it again.
  5. On a pve server the pve players should not have to change their behaviour to accommodate the pvp players. The pvp flagging exploits need to be fixed, and there should be no forced pvp AT ALL on a pve server.
  6. How about learn from your mistakes and try not to get snippy when someone helps you. I'll follow your advice though and put you on ignore, best not to read garbage after all.
  7. Only 2? I think you can only use 4 of the 8 unless you buy extra slots. Nobody gets deleted though, just you can't use them (you'll have to pick which ones to make active I think).
  8. No point getting worked up, but discussing the possibilities of interpretation, and discussing what we do or do not want (forced pvp for pve players) is important for them to understand what we don't want to see repeated again (HK-51). They've screwed up in the past, and have not corrected the screw up. They haven't even closed up the pvp flagging exploits for pve players, and it's been well over a year now. It's clear they do not understand (or do not care) that pve players do not want forced pvp, so telling them before they screw up yet again is a sound move.
  9. You know, if you don't actually know the words "per se", you could use a term like "necessarily" in its place.
  10. ...and this is important as it forces the free players to the cartel shop to buy these items directly, thereby spending a little cash to help pay for their spot on the server. This is why the credit limit above all things needs to remain.
  11. I know! Going to get a new gfx card very soon, then --->
  12. The problem with your argument is you're ignoring the fact this isn't just an extra bit of content, it's a whole new system (reputation system). This makes it a strange thing indeed to withhold from pve players, unless all it offers is pvp rewards (or unless they are planning on making the system available in areas that don't flag players for pvp). Incidentally HK-51 also forced pve players into pvp areas, which isn't something we want to see occur again.
  13. Why would a pve player be on a pvp server? Most (if not all) issues that people have with this are speaking as pve players on a pve server.
  14. That's a lie - we're talking open world remember. If you get instagibbed by mobs in the open world you're doing it wrong (and is probably why you hate pve - you don't know how to play). You can even equip greens in pve in the open world which you can get from the AH easily - pvp gear requires grinding, and all pvp players are wearing ranked gear designed to make them overpower players in weaker ranked pvp gear (and especially players wearing pve gear - no chance vs a pvp player in ranked gear).
  15. Well you don't need uber pve gear to level (if you're talking about using pve to level), can level in bought gear from AH no problems. Some people even get by wearing greens. Going into pvp wearing pve gear however means instagib.
  16. I7 overclocked to 4.6GHz does it, with a fairly crappy videocard (GTX460). I keep my fps capped at 80fps, stays at 80fps no problems during normal gameplay, in fleet and whatnot. Only when hitting bugged areas does the fps show reduction.
  17. READ MY EDIT. I have to go, read it and adjust your response, I already covered this before you two posted (guessing you guys were writing your posts very slowly).
  18. Read my edit. And don't quote me so quickly, I tend to rework my posts over about 2 minutes or so. I have to go do stuff now anyway, so I won't be around to yap for a bit.
  19. Gear that is pve is for pve, and pve fluff items are things not necessary for either pve or pvp. Therefore pve gear should be found in places ALL pve players can get to, and non-specific fluff items should be found in places all players can get to as well (unless they are rewards for passing gauntlets). Forced flagging areas exclude many pve players on pve servers - people rolled on this server to be able to choose not to pvp if they don't want to.
  20. The issue is making a new ranking system if it's not pve or pvp, yet forcing pve players to both flag (many players on pve servers NEVER want to do this) and also need to equip pvp gear to be able to participate in this new system. No problems if it's for some pvp gear only, but if it's pve gear/items then there is the problem of forced pvp and forced pvp gear reqs.
  21. There's no disconnect. We're talking about mutually beneficial gear, if that's the case - ie not pvp exclusive and not pve exclusive - a whole new and different ranking system. The only disconnect going down there is you not joining the dots on this.
  22. Great, for you. For people who choose to play on a pve server however, there should never be forced pvp.
  23. Well in operations you need to work your way up, same as for pvp gear. Yes. Don't see your issue. Was there a point?
