  1. I quoted your OP and definitely read it. I also provided a possible solution Bioware should look into concerning the Warzone & Rakata Medpacs as they heal for a lot and do not provide any of the medals the Pure Shockfrozen Water did. Making it so it doesn't work in stealth is probably a lot more difficult to do than you think. Making it a 1 time use I would imagine is a lot easier to do than you might think. The reason I say that is they have claimed to have fixed issues in their patch notes like say for example the not getting credit for a win bug ... that has been mentioned in their patch notes before and the bug still existed for a time. So this goes to show you that they can 'fix something' and test it and then put it on the live servers only to find out it is still not working as intended. Which brings us back to why they made the water thingy a 1 time use. Why bother trying to code it so that you cannot use it in stealth? when you could just make the Warzone / Rakata Medpacs provide players with the same medals .... making the item a 1 time use is step 1 in my opinion. They need to follow up by enabling the Warzone / Rakata Medpacs to provide players with healing medals if they are in fact healing themselves for the required amount. You're clearly so worked up over 2 medals Bioware has taken away from your warzones ... its not that bad.

Bioware didn't break anything .... they actually fixed something that allowed Assassins/Shadows/Operatives/Scoundrels to dramatically instaheal themselves in the middle of fight just because their in-combat stealth ability took them out of combat for a few seconds. You're obviously upset because you didn't abuse this item the shockfrozen water .. u just used it to get a few extra medals to get some much needed valor / commendations Maybe Bioware plans on making the Warzone Medpacs or the Rakata Medpacs give you those medals somewhere down the line?? Maybe .... Maybe not ... but its just a few medals that you've lost no big deal. What some of these stealth classes were doing in warzones was absolutely ridiculous. All because of pure shockfrozen water and no amount of medals is worth that.
  3. I'm not sure how to add incentive for people to stay in a warzone from beginning to end by adding a reward. Some people out there simply don't have need for the reward. A lot of people are leaving and just requeue trying to get into another warzone where they feel that they have a better chance of winning. So I would suggest rather than create a reward as incentive to stay ... create a penalty for leaving. I don't see the long walk from the beginning of a huttball game a big deal at all. I'm going to assume you're referring to the rare case in which a player joins mid-game and gets kicked out because of this long walk through the tunnel. All I can say is perhaps they should be more prepared. I agree with you completely on the voidstar thing. I agree with you on the Civil War as well. I think the map in general is flawed in that some players seem to think just because they're camping the 1 objective that our team has control of they're providing us with much needed defense. This is not the case when our opponent has 2 objectives and that is all that is needed to win. I will often find 2 or 3 people just standing around doing absolutely nothing collecting defender medals while the rest of the team is outnumbered banging our heads against a wall trying to take a much needed 2nd objective for any chance to win. I suggest increasing the amount of damage the middle Turret does to the opposing teams ship so that there would be more incentive for both teams to go for that middle turret. Relieving the other two turrets (hopefully) of lazy campers who rarely ever contribute. Not only will having both sides controlled allow a team a slight advantage when it comes to regrouping (its quicker to get to these sides if u use the right speeder when u respawn) But they also provide the same benefit to a team when compared to holding a side and middle. There is no difference .. control 2 of the 3 objectives for the majority of time and your team wins. Increasing the damage output of the middle turret would slightly change this warzone in a good way. World PvP (ilum) needs a complete overhaul. Again I agree with you.
  4. Interrupt a tracer missile or they will obliterate you and your team. Interrupt a grav round or they will obliterate you and your team. This has been discussed at great length ever since launch. The class is not broken it is just very simple. People are not bad just because they play a simple class. It is like this in every mmo where at least 1 class in the game is slightly easier to play when compared to the others. They can do a lot of damage if you leave them alone but by now everyone knows you can't leave them alone. Their mobility is not that great. Just because they have heals doesn't mean they're as bad or deserved to be placed in the same category as a Sorcerer / Sage. Just interrupt / cc them when u see tracer missile & grav round and you'll force them to run away. If they are Arsenal/Gunnery spec and you take away Tracer Missile or Grav Round you're rendering them helpless to a degree because their damage output relies heavily on those debuffs.
  5. Like all bugs once people figure out how to exploit them they cant keep their mouths shut so they spread the word. This hurts in the short term but in the long term as the problem grows more and more people like yourself bring the issue to the attention of the devs by posting on the forums or creating in-game tickets. You have done your part, now its time for them to do theirs. All you can do is hope they fix the issue sooner rather than later.

Since it looks like a 1-49 screenshot that means it probably is a 1-49 screenshot which would mean it bears no meaning what so ever and in fact I was wrong ... Snipers do need to be buffed. Please give us heavy armor and/or heals ... and while ur at it instead of a simple knife can we have a retractable lightsaber?

  8. Snap Shot: Entering cover has a 100% chance to make the next Snipe/Charged Blast to activate instantly. Ballistic Dampers: Entering cover grants 3 charges of Ballistic Dampers each charge absorbs 30% of the damage dealt by incoming attacks - happens every 1.5 seconds and can be gained every 6 seconds. With that said ... why stand in one spot? And what made you suspect that was what I was doing? do you think I just plant myself in cover and the fools just rush me getting destroyed 1 by 1? .... what made you jump to such a bold conclusion. P.S Obviously you need to move around with your team and take cover to use certain abilities so .... move around / take cover / pewpewpew / repeat. You get left behind or you fall behind and get ***** that is your own fault.

Learn to play your class? respec? have you tried marksman spec because it is DEVINE I'm pretty sure you're just mad that you cant out DPS other classes because other classes have choices like "do I wanna be a tank or dps ... a healer or dps .." and the sniper is just raw DPS and u wonder ... why don't we do more DPS? The answer to that question is quite simple which makes it that much more infuriating. Learn to play your class.

I'm pretty sure you're just an idiot if you cant figure out by now what I said even after you and I both have gone over it more than once. Just go to a more populated server dude. If you are always put right back into the same game u just left then you should definitely consider rolling a toon on a PvP server. I've never heard of such a thing and I am beginning to wonder if I'm responding to a 12 year old. If so then you've got a lot to learn. You probably followed your friends or guild to a server that has a low population or is a PvE server <-- meaning a lot of people on this server will most likely be doing PvE stuff and not PvP stuff (warzones) And yeah btw for the record I've crashed a few times. I queue with a group all the time buddy so I know for a fact reloading the game after a crash and immediately queueing for a warzone will not ever for any reason put me back into the same warzone I was just kicked from when I crashed. LOL
  15. According to the dramatic level of your QQ ... Yeah I'm posting that there. Yeah I've dueled Sorcerers and its a lot of fun because when u interrupt / cc them when they use force lightning it makes them look like tracer missile mercs getting interrupted. Force them to cast and get pushed back. This is a luxury only Snipers and Gunslingers have since we cannot be interrupted or suffer pushback while in cover. Oh and btw Juggs/Guards/Marauders/Sentinels seem to have a hard time charging you while you're in cover. Just saying Entrench / Hunker down is a 20second cc immunity on a 45second cooldown(if feated from 60 to 45 of course) I don't expect u to sit there in cover for the full duration lord knows 20seconds is a lifetime to stand in one spot during a warzone even with all those tracer missiles and pebbles being thrown around but its something you should try using. I think part of the reason people don't play snipers / gunslingers are much anymore is because before the action ability delay was addressed and fixed (to a degree) that bug kept snipers & their gunslinger counterparts from taking cover and using their much needed "only useable in cover" abilities. This bug hurt them more than any other class. Now that the bug has been fixed(to a degree) people still aren't going back to that class because of a multitude of reasons. It is more challenging as a Sniper. I've played a Juggernaut / Marauder / Sorcerer / Assassin and I've never had more fun. I use to QQ about my sniper and gave up on it and rolled a Sorcerer to 50 then they fixed the ability delay bug. I am currently having more fun as a Sniper than I have ever had playing any class. I'm sorry but your QQ doesn't apply to all of us. Maybe you should go to your ability window and highlight everything there to get a better feel for what you have in your arsenal and experiment with friends/players in your guild in duels to figure how to spec/play your class.
  16. Bioware should just let the Warzone Medpac and or the Rakata Medpac (which both heal you for a lot more than 2.5k) award you with a 2.5k single heal medal. Let the real healers get the 5k medal they deserve they're a healer FFS
  17. Pretty much. I do consistent damage and top the DPS on my team almost every game. If I find a sorcerer / sage dare to stand toe to toe with me in a warzone that means I'm gonna get a medal for defeating a player one-vs-one For those of you who don't know this yet there are two types of cover. 1,) Taking Cover - You'll see places all over the planet on every planet highlight when you're in range and with the press of a button your character will roll into that covered position. This is not natural for PvP and does not work properly for me. I sometimes roll into a spot that is surrounded by enemies or I can't see my target. I don't use this and advise everyone unbind it. 2,) Crouch - You will crouch in place and take cover. You gain all the same benefits from Take Cover but instead you don't roll all over the place like you do in donkey kong.
  18. These people will be noticed and reported and Bioware will hopefully tend to the needs of its subscribers. Time will only tell. We are not there yet ... we need a deserter debuff in place before we can accurate judge how it will affect everyone. Of course we could guess how it would but that doesn't make it true until it actually happens. But again ... just use the in game report system and give Bioware the dudes name and let them know the douche is going AFK in a warzone and reaping the benefits.

You are trying to say that you cannot quit a warzone and requeue because you'll be instantly placed right back into the very warzone you just left. While this may be true in some very rare cases it has never once ever for any reason ever happened to me. You either misunderstood me or are again just making stuff up. I play on The Fatman server. We do a lot of PvP there and Warzones pop quite often. Zaodon:"(remember when you said that the quitter will always get a new warzone because their old one filled up? Yeah, I'm using that against you now.)" I never said anything about the old one filling up. Try not to take anything anybody says out of context and hopefully it wont backfire. By the way, Adding stuff to what people said not 30 minutes ago does not make it true. They will simply click click copy/paste and make you look like the idiot you truly are. Your whole theory is logic fail at its very best. I've said this before and I'll say again. The things you mentioned in your first post when u created this thread while they may not warrant a deserter debuff it really doesn't matter because the cooldown won't be long enough to interrupt gameplay if for example you get spouse aggro or guild aggro etc etc ... You're simply making stuff up in your whole thread trying to give Bioware a reason NOT to implement a deserter debuff because YOU are afraid to see a warzone through from beginning to end just because it LOOKS like you might lose. You're a selfish brat and need to think about this every time you sign up for a warzone "if you do not have 15 minutes to dedicate to this warzone then why sign up at all?" P.S the only reason I'm concerned with idiots who pay the same $15 a month as I do leaving warzones is because all 8 of us signed up for that warzone. 7 of us intended on seeing it through from beginning to end. 1 of us decided to leave because hes a selfish douche. Do the math ... why should 7 people all paying the same $15 a month suffer because of 1 selfish douche.
  20. Anyone trying to justify quitting a warzone is logic fail. If you have real life things to attend to then just alt+f4 as you say and you don't have to worry about a deserter debuff. And even if you do get the debuff it should be cooled down by the time you get back. I am surprisingly going to agree with you on the AFK thing being approximately 10000000 tims worse than having someone quit. However if I see someone AFK in my warzone I usually just report them for this behavior. I don't know if Bioware actually ever does anything about this but they always send me emails telling me they're investigating the matter. The fact that you enraged and try to discount every thing I say because I am trying to convince you a deserter debuff is needed makes me suspect you quit warzones quite frequently for none of the 10 reasons you listed. Because as I said before a little 30 minute deserter debuff is going to be long gone by the time you get back. And if you're getting a deserter debuff just because you alt+f4'd or had to restart your game then maybe making a post about it on the swtor forums would add some extra incentive on Biowares part to fix the bug? All you had to do was lurk the forums and see a dozen different posts from people screaming for a deserter debuff and that got your little brain thinking about what is a legitimate reason for quitting? I wonder if this would convince Bioware to stay away from anything even resembling a deserter debuff. That way you can keep joining/leaving/requeueing until you get a easy win.
