  1. Grats you guys! We knew you'd Euro's would be all over it as soon as the servers were up, which was what motivated us to keep pushing last night. Let us know how fights 4 and 5 go!
  2. Hi Otar, We cleared it in Nightmare mode, skipping over normal mode completely, so we didn't have to deal with loot bag issues since these only exist on normal mode. That being said, we remarked several times throughout the raid that the Nightmare loot that was dropping didn't seem to be that great - e.g. lots of Exotech drops, not many Rakata pieces. Hope that helps.
  3. We think this may be a bug - note that there's hardly any other loot on him, and this wasn't the case when we cleared hard mode Soa prior to the 1.1 patch. Our guess is the loot table is broken somehow. Side note: Karagga Nightmare drops a mount as well - similar to the HM/Nightmare Soa mount, but black instead of red.
  4. Agreed. Jarg and Sorno (Bounty Hunter Twins) seemed decently ahead of Karagga and the rest of the bosses on the Nightmare difficulty scale.
  5. I think we actually had the most difficulty on the second fight - the Bounty Hunter Twins. Fights 1, 3, and 4 were essentially one or two shots - and Karagga, while moderately challenging, is nothing compared to what hard mode Soa was pre-1.1 nerf. Honestly, it seemed we were battling operation group member exhaustion more than Karagga on the final fight, which added to the attempts it took to down him.
  6. Haha - grats on your own kills as well. We've got nothing but respect for all of you in Milennium across the pond!
  7. The bosses on nightmare were not at nightmare difficulty, hence the week 1 clears by Irae AoD. They're a good group, but not that good.
  8. Sorry that you're having difficulty with the encounter, bug or no! I'm simply trying to be helpful, to indicate that using our current strategy, we have yet to encounter an issue with the pylons locking themselves that occurred previously. Given that, we believe it to be an additional mechanic rather than a bug. Best of luck either way!
  9. The stats on Rakata and Columi weapons appear to be swapped.
  10. There's no bug - its a mechanic issue. Once we learned the mechanic, we've been clearing this fight on hard weekly, without issue.
  11. They do, in fact, share lockouts. 16 man - which are tuned to a higher degree of difficulty than 8 man, in our guild's experience, though this is not intended - will be perceived by the community as more prestigious clears for serious, hardcore raiding guilds - if the past is anything to go off. In previous MMOs, the operation/raid setting with the highest number of players has always been perceived as the most meaningful content for guilds to tackle.
  12. It's not a bug. There's a mechanic in place that you need to figure out in order to ensure the pylons don't become "locked."
  13. Obi-- This was the bug that we had week 1 - essentially the "lock on" ability was doing nightmare level damage and one shotting anyone. We cleared it this week with no problem, and assumed the bug had been fixed, though we encountered it again on hard mode this past week and sent a FRAPS to the developers. Good luck! It may be best to just wait until patch 1.02.
  14. Just to be clear - don't claim the kill until you have the screenshot up. It's pretty damn easy to manipulate a screenshot with the kill time, and so really the time that a screenshot is blasted out, with the loot window viewable, is the "kill time." If another 8 man guild puts out a 5/5 hard mode kill with the screenshot before you, they're first - even if you technically killed it prior. That's how it has always been - in the immortal words of the internet meme: "Screenshot or it didn't happen."
  15. Grats on the kills OPW! That said, have to agree here with the Nerf Dialogue folks - you'll need to provide screenshots alongside your kills to have them be legitimate, and frankly, no one should be claiming a kill on any mode without a screenshot of both the boss and the loot of the boss, to verify that the kill is on the correct mode. (e.g. ensure that your screenshot has a mouseover of the Rakata-level gear that drops from the boss.) I'm sure you all have that and just haven't posted it to your site, but I'd recommend getting that up ASAP - or sent out via Twitter, so that you have the time stamp as well. Grats again.
  16. Thanks Piigle. We're a PVP focused guild ourselves, so be sure to drop in and say hi if you're ever on Port Nowhere.
