  1. Shes incapable of equipping ANY weapon, she tells me she doesnt have skill required. I tried ALL jedi weapons.
  2. Well, for some reason my Kira Carsen is a jedi no more. She cannot use lightsabers. Nor any weapon, for instance. Funny, but my other chars dont have such problems.
  3. Why, Oh Why?!?! Why did you take away companions secondary weapon skills, like electrostaffs? Why did you change awesome companions like Aric Jorgan?!?! What the hell is this ********?! PS. Kudos for all other good changes to comps, GJ

  5. Quite frankly, players dont want force storm nerfed, because of tanking problems. They want it nerfed, because ITS. SINGLE. STRONGEST. AOE. ABILITY. IN. THE. ENTIRE. GAME. Can be spammed thruout 80% of levelling process. Makes other classes look at Sorcerors/Sages with envy with their incomparable AOEs. This is the reason majority of posters desire its REDESIGN.
  6. Cost? You are really afraid of losing your awesome power, dont you? It has MUCH bigger aoe size, than ANY other AOE on the game, obviously good synergies and dirt cheap cost. Cost would have to be increased MASSIVELY, to make fair tradeoff against potency. Health of adds. Yeah, if they nerf health of adds, they might properly nerf FS/EQ.

Because some players are morons, and cant distinguish difference between good AOE with properly limited range(like merc,sniper and mirrors) and crazy op skill, leaving all those skills behind in terms of superior dps and AOE size, it doesnt mean all of playerbase must suffer for the sake of all sorc players, that are afraid of their balls shrinking, once their god- aoe gets "normallized". Its akk about sorc/sage making EVERY gosh darn class(esp Scoundrels/Ops) look weak AOE-vise in PVP AND PVE. Oh and, i dont mind them crippling sorc class enought, to make people start playing other classes. Sorc is FOTM class since the begginings of swtor, it would be nice to see it "put in line" properly. Sorcs had their time of fun. Enough is enough.
  8. Right, thanks for correcting that... So is it fair to gut class by deleting one of FEW effective AOE skills? I want to know honest answer, is gutting whole class, which is ALREADY underplayed, good idea to make people play it more? Without making up for loss, just for the sake of "it doesnt fit in"? And did Op/Scound really did high enough dps to justify cutting off his aoe? Cause if im reading you right, if he lost that good aoe, he mustve done too much single target. Or im thinking wrong?

Lets compare abilties: Force Storm - Insanely wide, no cooldown AOE with good power-cost ratio, which can be effectively spammed 80% of levelling process...( levelling one, lvl 45, this ability seems to have simply INSANE range and great damage, without much tradeoffs. One could level just spamming this one skill, outside of serious boss fights. I can imagine how good must be this AOE in operations... ) Now, Orbital strike/SX and DfA/Grenades, COOLDOWNS with high damage, good range(OS/XS range bigger than DfA/Grenades). I wonder, how wasnt force storm somehow nerfed, but instead OS/XS was deleted. Why, in act of balance, couldnt they make force storm a cooldown skill for whole Inquisitor class, like the DfA/Grenades and OS/XS?

  11. Well, to be honest, Death from above was nerfed, to be more in line with other abilities. Why couldnt they do the same with Orbital strike and counterart, instead of deleting it ?
  12. Delusions of people thinking, that skipping content will be good for the game seem to be strong lately. Id give few months. BW/EA will think twice before making next xp event...

  14. Yes, but you cant reach with this point to that part of community, which demands it. It was mentioned numerous posts, that it would be devastating for game lifespan. But those people are so insanely thick, they cant actually see it. Only hope is that EA/BW is mature enought not to cave into this, and the whole 12x xp movement will wither and die with time.
  15. If Bioware nad EA have a sliver of sanity, they will never, except of events like xpack launch, listen to deluded part of playerbase, and implement 12xp anymore. Or maybe they will be afraid of another outcry, and not introduce that ever again. I hope. This community(at least part of it) outcry is perfect example of saying: "give somebody an inch and he'll take a mile".
  16. You seem to have serious disability for reading and comperhension. He already mentioned, that this game is MMO, and without some grind during lvlup there wont be much magnetism. People would play the game, not pay sub, and leave after month of finishing class story. MMO business was never about how to make it purely awesome. It was about making it awesome AND grindy, to keep players playing, while they pay for content. Reality of life. Oh and, nowadays most of us have jobs and families, times have changed, and games are for both children and adults. It is sometimes tedious to go thru same places again and again, but this is how this mmo survived. SW franchise + standard gind. Altho i can agreed on other forumers, that there are much worse grinding games, i have lived thru few eras of MMO games, and seen stuff like Lineage 2, ugh. Hell, vanilla wow was grind hell. Ths game belongs to new era of casual games, where you have minimum grind, for pleasure of casual gamers, who all have their life, family, etc, so they cant commit like crazy anymore. And there are still people who are like this man here, who wants everything spoonfed. Sorry to say this, but even with low community WoW has, that game doesnt have any entitled whiners like swtor...

Mate, do you really, REALLY believe, that they can once again make immersive storyline, voice-over dialogues and separate quests, with barely fraction of old team and financial support, being on life support as long as players are still willing to buy CC? Dont get me wrong, i love the game, i was with it since main game early access, but right now its a husk of what the game was. And any expectations, that it would return to former glory are just unrealistic dreams, unfortunately... PS. Proper term for it would be: Game got EA'ed.
  18. Wow, is it just me, or this games community becomes incredibly bratty lately? First they throw a tantrum for BW to leave 12x xp "OR WE UNSUB", than deman for money they paid for skills training from before cost removal, and now "WAAAAAGH NOT FAIR, ME WANTS HM EPAX WITHOUT DOING HMs!!!". Really people, get over yourselves, Even WoW, being theme park giving loot left and right does not do stuff like that...
  19. Okay, ill bite. So you say , so called "sleeze", showing off body, etc, is bad. But overall cruelties, murders, killing, destroying, merciless acts, and killing thousands living beings on our epic quest is totally fine family-wise? Thank you for a fine input, sir.
  20. pfeh, all i see is gunship players vs other players battle. Its either bad/medicore GS pilots bashing scouts, and other players bashing GS for being powerless against maxed lvl GS.   21. Thank you, Zorvan. Thats exacly what i tried to say. When EA bought Bioware, most of those beutiful promises about game being super-uniqe got brought to same formula as many other mmorpg games + awesome Single Player-alike leveling experience. And that, aside of bolster system(which was sadly ignored at max lvl, even tho it could have been awesome balancing system for all-level pvp) became main redeeming qualities of the game. When you reached end game tho, it became just another grind of similar kind as WoW. When game went F2P it was obvious, that those qualities werent enough to maintain the playerbase, so it was decided to milk the game as much as its possible. Before it ends like Warhammer online(also destroyed by EA).
  22. You are right, and that IS a problem with EA and ALL OF MMO GAMES IT OWNED. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, if you still dont know it, EA (the major destroyer of best MMOS) owns SWTOR. Instead of providing all the innovative stuff that BW promised during all those years of production, EA decided to milk title, by making it medicore and using formula from other mmo games (mainly taking formula from wow, yeah, i know wow does it aswell, but it compiles it together) , and adding some own content, which they later ignore to make it even more medicore (im talking about bolster system idea being thrown into the can once you reach max lvl). Dont get me wrong, idea of voiceover, story-driven quests is really, REALLY immersive. But when story ends, immersion vanishes, mainly thanks to copy-paste daily system from, (yeah, you gonna hate me for this) WoW, and dungeon farming. Or PvP farming. At least people have something else to do with GSF. Its sad to see SW title being sold like this...Thank you businessmen from EA, who cant understand, that making games is an art, not manufacture. This is unfortunately not the first, nor the last game that will end the same way by EA hand.
  23. Oh, yeah, you nailed it, just like the argument that they skipped at least half of creation process by taking nearly all rules, ship classes and control engine from other game. They DID create textures, special effects and maps, but the whole concept of the game, ship classes, feel heavily unoriginal. Id exept something more from the SW based game, but i guess its going down like most of so called F2P games. Pity, it was a great dream in its first months, for SWTOR to be proud member of MMORPG genre.
  24. You mean they copy-pasted Star Conflict, but changed textures and effects to their own engine...
  25. No mate, i mean its a direct ripoff of released in the first quarter of this year Star Conflict, even current ship classes are almost copy-paste of those in that game. We dont have all of them in GSF yet, but SC was my first time to meet "sniper" gunships, than i saw them in GSF and thought "okaaaay?"
