I tried purchasing this but the link on the page to buy is not working. It shows a maintenance error page instead of the checkout. It's been like this for 2 days now for mee. 

The join the fight option is working fine without problems.

What link are you using? It usually happens when your website language is not the same as the news. Use the language selector on the top and set it to EN, then click on the link again and that should work. However, if you use https://www.swtor.com/buy, it should work in all 3 languages and redirect you properly.

Or, maybe the first page is working but the checkout fails? In that case I have no idea, it's a website bug.

I have a recurring 6-month sub.  It's coming up in less than two weeks to reup.  I also would like this bundle.  Your bot says they don't stack.  However, it cannot answer whether or not I can buy the bundle, cancel my sub for 6-months, then reup my sub without losing the continual sub benefits.  It cannot answer if there's a better way to handle this.  I needed to talk to a rep, but no option to do so.

How exactly does this work if I already have a continual recurring 6-month sub?

If you right now have a recurring sub and you buy the bundle, then:

• your current sunscription will be paused for the next 180 days
• the day of your next regular payment is moving forward by 180 days.
• you will not loose anything,
• you will not pay twice. 
• the bonuses will not stack but the bundle grants you the same monthly bonus as a 6 month subscription.

Personaly i have rather bothersome "technical" problem with Bundle due to Dyes being non-stackable item

Let's asume that player with 8 characters on the server (8 main stories) will claim all gift items on all characters to keep his in-game mailbox clean.

Here are most likely scenarios:

A. Player will instantly use up all dyes leaving noting for future outfits/new armor set's (not likely)
B. Player will unpack boxes separetly on all characters, but they will use only 2-4  Dye's on each character-> number of Dye's to store in either character or legacy cargo will be around 48-64
C. Having hard time deciding where to use Dye's player will only unpack dyes on one character and test 2-4 of the dyes -> that will leave only 6-8 dyes + 14 boxes to store

Now, let's crank that numbers up since this pack is directed to long term subscribers with spare cash who most likely have more than 8 characters on their main server:
20 characters -> maximum 40 boxes or 200 singular dyes (40-200 storage slots)
30... -> 60-300 Storage slots (more or less My curent point of view)
40... -> 80-400 Storage slots
And let's not forget about legendary 100 aka max posible number of characters per server -> leading to 200 boxes with 5 dyes per each box... so up to 1000 dyes

I see 2 solutions:

1. (Less likely one) Masive increase of storage space in both legacy and character cargohold

2. (reason why i call it technical problem) We have already encountered same problem on the smaller scale with Dye's from Sesonal Rewards, problem which was happened to be solved by making Sesonal Dye's stackable items

P.S.: Would love it if all dyes could be stackable, honestly i don't see reason for tradable dye's to keep crafter name in it (while i see sense in name being present in describtion of armor or weapon which are worn items, same toughts don't aply for me to dye's and item modification which could also make use from being stackable making them more managable in biger numbers, but that is thing to think about at another time and place)

While I 100% agree they should be stackable, as someone with 100 characters, here is my easy solution to this problem that I use:

I only open packs as needed, and each individual character stores their own.

I keep one of each opened dye in legacy storage for previewing purposes, keep a few unopened packs in the legacy also, and otherwise everyone just puts their unopened dye packs in their personal cargo holds (2 slots per person, not even my most packed main characters don't have 2 slots).  If I decide based on previewing that I like the dye on someone, THEN I open a pack.  I have yet to have a problem with having space to store them.

It would be even easier and more ideal if I could open every single pack on every character and stack each dye like 1000 deep in legacy, but I have not needed 1000 slots to store because most of the packs are unopened, and most people have almost nothing in their personal cargo holds so there is easily space for 2 unopened (or even OPENED tbh) dye packs.

I know it's an old post (at this point), but yeah, I use Steam and have for a couple of years. My last year of using the swotor site was an error message and try again later. Moving over to steam, I've never had any issues whether toggling my subscriptions, or purchasing CC.

Since the Devs still have not replied, all we can do is guess.  Best guess I have is that it could be due to Currency Exchange Rates, as that has also affected the costs for players of DC Universe Online (the only other MMORPG I play) in certain countries.

Ignoring the fact that 99.99 USD is 75.00 GBP, not 89.99 GBP like the bundle sells for, we're not talking about plain conversion rates here, what we mean is for US based players this is a discount on the 6 month sub and Cartel Coins, plus the bonus of the dyes and a mount. For a lot of us outside the US it's more expensive than a 6 month sub and an equivalent amount of Cartel Coins to the point where it actually ends up being an extra 20 bucks just for the mount and dyes.

I also did some math and realised this bundle is calculated in a way to loose, not worth this money.

What is worth what:
180 days = 150 pln for Credit Card or Paypal only (neither of these I can do)
60 days = 60 pln billed once by PaySafeCard (that's my way w/o credit card). Comparable 180 days = 180 pln
5500 cartel coins = 126 pln
Total = 306 pln = 80 usd for 3mo sub+5500cc

Master The Fight - Firebolt Edition = costs 440 pln = 115 usd

Difference is 134 pln (1usd=3,8317pln, so equal to 35 usd)

Developer thinks 35 usd is worth a couple of bad looking dyes and single mount one the same lookings for all.
35 usd in my currency is more or less equivalent to 5850 cc.
For 5850 cc one can buy 6 pcs. of a pearlescent red/black dye that each is now worth 875 cc on a 50% off sale.. Sell it on GTN later when sale ends, for a 150-200 mil a piece, and be rich.

No problem for me, since Master The Fight - Firebolt Edition bundle is not obtainable via PaySafeCard, can pay only credit card or PayPal.
Just wanted to point the above to those undecided willing to pay with credit card.

 

Moreover, this bundle costs 100 usd on official website, I click Buy it directs to say it now costs 440 pln, meaning exchange rate is 4,4. That's weird, since that high lvl my currency stayed against dollar last time a year ago.
