black-purple and black-blue crystal schematics ?

I saw a thread, somewhere, in here on the black-purple and black-blue crystals. Is there a way or place to learn how to make them? I can't remember the thread and I was confused as to what was going on about them. Please help me understand.

The schematics for those are no longer available in the game. 

There were a lot of schematics removed with 4.0.

Still some being sold on the GTN ( by players who originally had the schems ) , and  i think you can also still purchase them on the PVP Vendors on Fleet.
