Mercs/Commandos need some Attention

Since 7.0 launched this spec has gotten barely any buffs from bioware, its okay for both PVP and PVE but its not great at either. Its kind of middle of the ground its not terrible but its not great. 

I have some ideas on how bioware could buff these classes. 

#1. Give us the VG/PT Hold the line/Hydraulic Overrides. The Diet Coke version we have is not worth it, I'd rather have Propulsion round and get the bug where you cant move after using it than get like a few secs of root immunity. This class needs better mobility abilities, especially in PVP where Roots dominate the game right now. Before people say spec into propulsion round, No one is going to choose that over ED a much needed defensive especially in PVP. 

#2. Stealth Scan as a mainline ability, A lot of the anti-stealth specs were hit hard with 7.0. Adding stealth scan back as a mainline gives this spec more utility especially in PVP, not to mention not a lot of people are going to spec into stealth scan anyways, its either charged barrier or sticky gernade.

Innovative Ordinance/Assault Specialist

I would Buff the Passive Dot DMG for both Serrated and Inc. Rounds. The DOT DMG isn't really that great compared to some other specs. 

Buff Magshot and Assault Plastique/Thermal Detonator, This spec is more hybrid and the Burst really isnt that great right now. If we could get like a 10-15% DMG buff on these abilites that would at least help in some form. 

I'd also create a new single Target Tactical, Basically I would make Full Auto Tick and Refresh all your Serrated and Inc round. It gives the spec some nice burst, While Energized Charges is good, I think its works more best as a PVE Tactical, This new one would be more for PVP (Kind of like how UV Blast is more for PVP than PVE) 

Gunnery/Arsenal 

Change the Grav Round mod that increases Vortex bolt DMG to either one of these possible paths 

1. Grav Round Critical Hit DMG is increased by 20% and Applies Trauma to the Target, Trauma Reduces all Healing the Target Receives by 20% for 10 Seconds. 

2. Nova Round: Fires a Round that Creates a Gravity Vortex on the Target Dealing X DMG and Causing X Internal DMG over 18 Seconds. Target's Armor is also Crushed and Reduced by 20% for 45 Secconds. Nova Round leaves the Target Vulnerable to High Impact bolt and increases the DMG they take from Demolition round for 45 Seconds. Replaces Grav Round. 

Buff the Mod that increases Demo Round Crit DMG. from 10% to 20-25%. 

I'd Rework the Prime Ignition tactical to have Boltstorm, Grav Round, and Demo Round not only Tick the DMG but also Refresh it. 

The Goal I had with Gunnery was that it lacked good sustained DMG, By giving it an optional DOT Replacer ability and having Prime Ignition get refreshed and tick its DMG, I think it would vastly improve Gunnery's usefulness and make it more viable for harder endgame content along with PVP.

I would not call the class ok in PVE.  It has been the worst PVE dps for over a year.  Current PTS notes do not change that.  I know people are scarred buffing it in PVE would make it too strong in PVP but there has to be some kind of solution to bring up the raw dps numbers.  Even casual pugs kick you out these days because they think your trolling.  I can only run it with guildies.
