  1. I think it is more than vicious slash that is having issues. Watching old videos from a couple years ago and several animations for Jugg look floaty and your off hand is doing wierd things.
  2. This would be nice. I have always been disappointed that there is not legit ranged blaster rifle spec in the game and that all blaster rifle classes have to stand in melee..

  4. I dont really care how they fix it but they need to fix the dps in PVE. Being the lowest dps spec in the entire game for over a year is not acceptable. The recent PTS changes do not improve it enough.
  5. I would not call the class ok in PVE. It has been the worst PVE dps for over a year. Current PTS notes do not change that. I know people are scarred buffing it in PVE would make it too strong in PVP but there has to be some kind of solution to bring up the raw dps numbers. Even casual pugs kick you out these days because they think your trolling. I can only run it with guildies.
  6. Finally got around to playing my guardian as dps at end game and after working through the rotation and reviewing guides online to see how well im doing. I prefer to play dot specs and thus playing vengeance. I noticed something odd when I started breaking down my parses... This "dot" spec even when using the dot refresh tactical does extremely little actual bleed/burn damage. In the best cases only 25-28% of Vigi/Veng damage is actually dot/burn/bleed damage. I guess this post could be seen as a kind of nitpick but I kind of got really disappointed by how much of our damage is from direct abilities. When you compare dot numbers to other specs like sage/madness/plasma/pyro these classes do 45-70% percent of their damage through dots like a dot class should in my opinion. I dont think it would be too much work but it would be nice to see a lot of the direct damage from skills get moved to burns/bleed and plasmabrand/shatter dots, taking their contributions from 25% to 40-50% like you would expect a dot focused class to do. The way these specs are currently, there are even some direct damage specs that do almost as much dot damage LOL. It is safer to call Vigi/Veng a hybrid if not just another direct damage class.
  7. Please find a way to make arsenal/gunnery stronger in PVE. Everyone knows its strong in many scenarios in PVP but it has been a bottom tier spec in PVE for too long. There has to be a way to give it a PVE bump without making it broken in PVP. The changes you have shown so far are not even close.
  8. I am not sure how often Devs actually pay attention to forum posts in this game but as many others have stated, and numerous threads in the class forums have stated... Gunnery/Arsenal is monstrously behind in PVE dps. I am not sure if SWTOR devs look at parsley or not to get somewhat decent idea of where classes are at in a vacuum but they should be to some extent. It has been the worst or next to the worst spec for a long time in PVE. It can complete content yes, but even casual pugs and groups kick often because they think you are trolling. You can complete all content in the game with 4 tanks or 4 healers too doesnt mean its good. Please consider some sort of plan to actually increase the dps for this spec. Everyone understands its strong in many PVP scenarios but there has to be some way to increase its damage in PVE from dumpster tier while not breaking the ceiling in PVP. Thanks for reading.

I am not sure how long it has been since this was last brought up, but since 7.0 I have switched my commando to merc because I just cant stand looking at my trooper carrying around a canon bigger than him anymore. Its been years. Please add a passive that when using a blaster rifle you get a +X% to dmg so that it evens out with the canon. OR please let us outfit the canon to a blaster or somthing anything... I know merc/comm have way bigger problems with viability right now but im begging you guys...... Just want my ranged trooper to not look like a clone for once.
