Please Remove Class Restrictions from 6.x Set Bonus Gear in 7.0 for Outfit Tabs

The 6.x set bonus gear brought back a lot of older looks from previous SWTOR eras.

 

This has been welcome, and they could be used in Outfit Designer tabs. Unfortunately, there is also a class restriction on all the various sets.

 

Since 6.x set bonuses will no longer function after level 76 in 7.0, according to today's developer article, can the class restrictions be removed from them for update 7.0?

 

This way, players who collected many or even all the various 6.x set bonuses can use them on an outfit tab of any class going forward, after 7.0.

Fully support this idea. For me, I want the Gathering Storm mask for my SW, so to have that Zoro-ish look.

They haven't yet said anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were because of two factors;

1. the set bonuses were tied to abilities, abilities that with Combat Styles will become available to other Origins so retaining the restrictions would make no sense.

And 2. The announcement that set bonuses will be replaced with Legendary Implants and Earpieces, so the set bonuses that the old gear were restricted because of won't even exist anymore...

I haven't seen any bonus set that I would want to wear visibly in an outfit. 🤔

But, perhaps they could just remove the bonus and restrictions once 7.0 drops.
