New hairstyles

Really want some new hairstyles. Preferably more urban styles with braids, locks etc. Especially for females the options are a bit lackluster, at least the males got a nice bunned up dreadlock style (but females only got a wet poodle or an exploded ****zu style right now. Really want to see something like the style for Tau Idair for both sexes and the unshaved version also for females (since males do have that one)

I would like to see some new hairstyles as well, particularly really long ones that reach down to the butt. I mean, the Twilek have lekku, so why not?

Maybe some anime-style hairdos like

Long twintails: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/luckystar/images/c/c9/Kagami-san.gif/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/247?cb=20120723133124 (I would hope to get this because the female Jedi Knight actress, Kari Wahlgren, voices this character Kagami Hiiragi.)

Really long hair, hopefully for both genders: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/luckystar/images/7/73/Konata-san.gif/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/274?cb=20120723133321

Unisex Long Samurai Hair-similar to Zero from Mega Man X: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/megaman/images/4/4e/XCM_Zero_FlashCloseup.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/819?cb=20201212000050 ( I would really like this for my Z'saber character.)

Just some suggestions

Edit: Also, maybe some regular-sized female hairstyles with a ponytail on only one side? Just some thoughts.

Interesting stuff, but...

Sad to say, but your links don't work for me.

EDIT: Above all, I'm interested in what you think "really long" means. The late Mrs Cynic's hair seemed to have stabilised at just long enough to reach her upper thighs, and she was slightly distressed that it seemed reluctant to go longer.

Hoping they give afros and dreads another swing, the two they put in were utterly embarrassing and somewhat offensive for how awful they turned out to be.

GW2 has two pretty reasonable afros, one smaller (?less big?), and the other bigger. This is the less big one: https://i.imgur.com/xTwJhRg.jpg If you have a close-fitting "crown" or "diadem" type helmet, it correctlly hides with marginal "visible through the tiny gaps" visiblilty.

Maybe some links to webpages with images of them. Does this work?

Long twintails: (I would hope to get this because the female Jedi Knight actress, Kari Wahlgren, voices this character Kagami Hiiragi, and there is a purple hair color available.) https://luckystar.fandom.com/wiki/Kagami_Hiiragi

Really long hair, hopefully for both genders: https://luckystar.fandom.com/wiki/Konata_Izumi

For "really long" the upper/mid thighs was generally what I was thinking, similar in size to Twilek lekkus. My reasoning is that the Twilek already have long lekkus in game, so why not put in some hair that long as well? And since it would be hair, it wouldn't appear when the character uses a helmet or hood.

Yup, those work. I'm guessing that Wikia doesn't like links from outside directly to pictures.

Twintails are good, although I'm not sure that twintails that *long* are really my thing. Ref the original Kylara Nightsong in GW1: https://i.imgur.com/X9OzP9Z.jpg (It's a source of continuing disappointment that GW2 has no armour set or outfit that looks quite like the illustrated Vabbian Necromancer Female armour.)

Really long hair, hopefully for both genders: https://luckystar.fandom.com/wiki/Konata_Izumi

Knee-length is good, although I'm not sure it's a really good idea in MMORPG characters because it would clip like b*ggery on almost any armour, and I don't want to think what it would do on shallow-seat speeders.

Practicalities say no, unfortunately. There's no way it could be made to move the way it should.

Twi'lek lekku aren't quite as long as that. Females have lekku down to their belt, roughly, and males have them slightly longer, maybe mid-lower butt. But yeah, some longer hair would be nice.

That looks so damn good in comparison.. Good by its own standard even. BioWare has no excuse for what we ended up getting, they do this to me with every game but we can have multiple variations of bald lol Someone HAS to be seeing this.

I was a fan of the last round of hairstyles we got circa the Traitor Among the Chiss update era with the victory roll front.

Personally, I'd like sidecuts AND head tattoos, like Tau's but with Sith-y options as well. Some combination of shaved head & braiding would very much be exactly the type of thing I seek while perusing options on my character creator screen. Or an elaborate Queen Amidala do that hasn't been used yet. I want the excitement and drama of glorious fantasy hair in my space opera.
