A Dangerous Auction, a Badly Written Quest

If the writers were any good, there would be an option to surprise kill Juda at the end , a mercy kill to eliminate the threat of the greedy and dishonest woman that had been friendly with you up to that point so she wouldn't suffer. Instead, you either demand the list right away or not at all so she has to sweat or gets away with it.

Paraphrasing from the Bounty Hunter on DK in the nexus room cantina when encountering imperials taking orders from Tarro Blood before meeting the Altaca's, making the right choices spares their lives with this comment: "You can't spend money if you're all dead", to which one of the two imperial cronies says: "That makes a whole lot of sense", before they both run off.

So in a way it makes sense after dealing with Tarro's bear trap on Hutta. Why should Juda and your character have to pay for Tarro's problem for? He should chew his own damn leg off from now on. In any event Juda's family is more important to her than credits so she can't take the risk of running into far more serious problems than a money shortage. Killing her would simply be pointless.

The more important question is why would she actually send the money in the email later?

Aside from that, I felt the DS option was Evil enough. In the kotor games [and even this one], when you took the greedy options for DS points, you just felt petty and selfish. Here, they actually show how you wrecked this person's life.
