Please fix Odessen warzone sniper-free-cancel-enemy-node bug.

Please fix the Odessen warzone to disallow sniper to get a free node cancel. Yes this is a bug, not a feature. The ability of the sniper is not a bug, the warzone letting it be used in that way is.

 

This is game breaking. Don't split hairs with me about how if another sniper is there and he has the right spells off cooldown and he has the presence of mind and response, and is not stunned he can prevent the other sniper....blah blah blah, it'll never happen. Don't split hairs about how the sniper actually has to get a red cancel in order to use it.

 

Point is, one class gets a free cancel of node. The whole point of nodes in that wartype is to obtain a node then guard it. So let us have the ability to guard it. When I say US, I mean ALL CLASSES. Sniper cannot be interrupted, bumped, delayed, and no way you can kill a sniper in the short time it takes to cast.

 

If you do not want to fix this, then instead lets make it so that only SAGES can use the green-powerup, only powertechs can use the orange-powerup, etc. Also lets make it on all war types how about that? How about only Guardians cannot be interrupted taking pylons. How about Mercs cannot be interrupted when they put a bomb on the door.

 

Embarrassing that they have allowed this game-breaker to last this long. Typiclaly when you see a sniper do that, you just quit the warzone. People leave this warzone faster when they see that, then when they see a hacker speed hacking in huttball.

If you would like to avoid hair splitting just bring up the fact that gravity vortex on fury gives immunity to interrupts and all controlling effects like an entrenched sniper but, unlike an entrenched sniper, they can't be diversioned out of the immunity

 

it's literally not stoppable

 

they should just remove odessen from the game instead of worrying about this

You see a sniper coming forever - if your team is fighting somewhere else not caring about objectives it's not the snipers fault - it takes 1 to guard the area, at least 2 people should be free to "greet" that nasty sniper :p

 

Otherwise somebody might argue that we get rid of force pull/harpoon stuff with stun/knockback.

Because that is even more "gamebreaking" since the person who guards must be visible - so easy to steal the node not just deactivate it :p

Not to mention what sorcs/sages can do with their defensive bubbles. Which seems even more broken than entrench since you don’t even have the option to burn him down.

 

In the end, red needs to be killed before it even gets to the guarded node. It’s a match of mods anyways.

Agree sorc holding a node while in bubble is even worst.

More broken are that sorc can hold a buff and use bubble. Sins, operativs and maras cant use stealth while holding 1.

Only if sorcs could cancel a node WHILE being bubbled would this be the same thing. And yes, if they could cancel a node while being bubbled then I would agree it should be changed just as much as this idiotic sniper thing.
