Some people need their advantages I guess Actually one of them was an Assassin..... They have all been invariably Imp side though. Don't get a peep out of anybody when I'm on my imp characters. If you don't wanna get too insulted by people, at least make the tiny effort to come full geared (I mean at least with EVERY augment, including earpiece, relic and whatever), inject yourself with some stim, and at least have full 230... I absolutely do not care whether I will be killed thousand times, if it is the only way to earn those stupid tokens, I will earn them. And there we have what bothers me. ^^' Imo ranked shouldn't give reward when losing, nor should it allow you to complete Daily/Weekly quest with only loss. This way it would force people to... at least try. The way you're putting it is "I went in queue, just for getting killed as soon as possible to finish this quicker so I could queue again to get more tokens". Ranked is a PvP style that usually would require people to win -because they are good / got better with time- in order to obtain rewards. The main problem with the current system is that everyone gets some reward, even if they didn't do anything. This is what causes all of these people who are here just for the UC (or the few token they get when losing) to come into ranked. The other problem is the stupid class balance (As a sin player I usually stop when there is 3+ sniper or merc in Q, because I don't even find this fun to fight again a class that you won't be able to defeat by yourself). I remember clearly this match where 2 merc won against an operative, a mara, a sniper and a sin, just because they had these broken DcDs. This shouldn't be ranked play. You shouldn't have to reroll FOTM to be "safe" of focus, no class should be able to carry a match. A skilled player should be imo. ^^ But that's not the main concern here. What I strongly suggest you to do is to be equipped with a full 230 augmented set at least... and well, aim for the win. "I don't care how many times I'll get killed" isn't what peoples that do ranked (peoples who could be your team mates) want to hear, otherwise you'll just be taken as a random guy that don't belong in this kind of game where the only goal should be getting the highest rating possible. I can't complain if I lose because I fought people that were better than me. But I can complain if I lost rating because a guy in my team didn't really try. I understand that these crystal are cool, in fact I think I'll buy myself the lockbox if I have some token left after the weapon set. But this state of mind is imo the same as all those guy that wanna have Wings of the Architect with "green stuff". These reward should be awarded to those who deserve it... So get in there and go berserk ! Just aim for the win. Try again if this doesn't work the first time, don't queue when there is too much Fotm (aka merc and sniper), it's never fun to get gank by these guys. Try harder. At least, even if you're not fully geared, peoples won't complain because "you are not even trying". Losing can happen to everyone even if they try really hard. And even if they complain and insult you after this, then just ignore them. The important thing is to do the best you can and get better with time. Not wait to be carried by other who don't always wanna do it. Oh, and another thing, if you play DPS specialist then maybe you should consider switching to another toon, or respec tank with dps gear (don't forget the shield !). You have zero interest in pvp and the competitive nature of ranked, but worse, you give the finger to those that do. People pay their subscriptions, have minimum time to play this game, and the time the do get to play the game, they're stuck with the likes of you, effectively going into ranked 3v4, just so you can get your precious crystals at their expense. You want to write a thread complaining about toxicity in ranked, how about taking some responsibility for your actions and your lack of consideration for others.
