Cancelling subscription.

Hello,

today i bought subscription 60days as i thought "one time purchase" but i got e-mail with such thing:

"By making your membership purchase today you authorize EA to automatically charge the then-current renewal membership fee (plus applicable taxes) to your credit or debit card without any additional action by you prior to the expiration of your membership. Your membership will continue to automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel your membership at any time here: http://www.swtor.com/user/account, or by contacting BioWare Customer Service at www.swtor.com/support."

But when i go to my account and subscription i can see this:

There's no link like "cancel subscription" at all. Should i worry that each 60 days EA gonna renewal this or that e-mail was just not adequate (automated)?

Normally on the bottom of the page ( screenshots ) you have that option to cancel

Just to clear it up - the sixty-day one-time purchase does *not* renew at the end of the sixty days. The e-mail they send is a tad inaccurate; I got the same e-mail when I started subscribing. I've never used any recurring subscription plan, just the sixty-day purchase, "renewed" every two months (manually, by me, and there have been times when it has run out because I did not renew it).

The email is wrong. Disregard it. You may not have a cancel subscription button as it's a one time purchase.

^^ Yep. Been discussed and covered multiple times in the forum here.

Basically, they only have pre-canned emails which do not make a distinction as to how you applied time to your account.

I only use game time codes from Amazon and I always get the same email the OP did when I apply the code.

I always buy the 60 days, and to me they are renewable only if I want to....look for the various options.

Why does no one ever scroll to the bottom of the screen?

In the poster's defense, we've had folks say that the button shows up in one browser but not others.

I don't recall anyone ever saying which browsers though, even when asked directly.

Something else I've realized, he probably didn't have the button anyways because he didn't have a recurring sub to cancel. The email was just stupid.

Probably. This isn;t the only issue like this we've tried to get folks to follow up on. I;ve been asking for well over a year for someone to post their email headers for the one time code emails so we can see where they're coming from.
