  1. Many moons ago, I made a bounty hunter named Ryll (after the spice). Servers merged, I lost it. Changed his name to Rýll. Then came the next server merges, and I lost that variation, as well. Unfortunately, every other diacritic I tried was invalid (not taken, literally invalid, as in, it shows a white box instead of a letter), so I had to give him a last name, which I hadn’t wanted to do. So now I have Ryll Kor, which is still a very potent form of ryll spice, but not what I had wanted. It makes me sad.
  2. I've had so many problems just trying to find an okay outfit for a low-level toon without breaking the bank, that I've started saving all the green BoP gear items that I don't want and listing them on the GTN for the default suggested price. It's usually only two to five thousand credits apiece, but it's more than you would get for vendoring it, and I like to think that maybe some new player just wants a stinkin' pair of pants for their consular and can buy them from me for cheap.
  3. So many memories of this game... When I started playing the game, I wanted to be a Chiss. The bounty hunter story seemed interesting, so I made a bounty hunter and showed my sister. "What?!" she exclaimed, "I want to play a bounty hunter! You have to wait and play that one together with me." I decided to oblige her and made a Chiss agent instead, and the class story blew me away. That character is still my main. The first time I went to Dromund Kaas, I didn't quite grasp how you were expected to explore the map. I ended up trying to sneak through the heroic area between the spaceport and Kaas City, not realizing you were meant to take a taxi. Once I got to the city, I decided to explore it and inadvertently wandered over to the dark temple. I was just barely high enough level for all of the dark temple quests to be available, but I didn't realize they were meant for someone at a higher level than me, or that my class story would eventually lead me to that area. The result was that the dark temple was extremely difficult. It was terrifying. But I thought that was how it was supposed to be. Every quest giver was talking about how scary it was and how people who went in never came back out, and that's exactly how it felt for me to play. I finally managed to finish the last quest and resolved never to return... until my class story told me to go into the temple. What a surprise it was to find how perfectly doable everything was once I was the proper level! "You can't say it, can you? Goodbye, Chance." - One of the best moments in the agent storyline. Also, due to differing schedules and life just happening, my sister and I played those bounty hunter toons off and on for years. The gaps between play time made the story difficult to follow, but true to my word, I didn't create another hunter. Imagine my surprise, then, when I noticed one day that my sister had achieved Legendary status, which you only get by completing every class story. She sheepishly admitted that she had gotten tired of how long it was taking and created a different toon to complete the bounty hunter story. I was... displeased.
  4. I just ran all the Ilum quests and did indeed get the crystalline armor, but through some sort of glitch, the helmet I got was wrong (instead of the boltblaster/medtech, it was for some other class, and therefore didn’t match the rest of the armor). You may not have that problem, but it is worth noting. As to the planetary drops, they’re no longer linked to a planet, but to a level range. You probably haven’t seen them as much because leveling has gotten so much faster. Farming those planets on a 75 will only get you 75 gear (I know, I just tried farming Taris for a cool Mandalorian set). Your only option would be to check the GTN (where people price gouge because it’s so hard to get a full set now), or make a new character, get it to the proper level, and then use that character for farming.
  5. I'm cautiously optimistic. Some of the changes look interesting, some exciting, some make me uneasy. But I'll be here to check it out when it launches.
  6. Please don't take away the ability for me to put things in my inventory where I want them. If you want to make some fancy sorting algorithms, that's fine, but give me an option to turn them all off and put things wherever the heck I want them.
  7. I was thinking of buying the Koensayr Dart and seeing if anyone would trade for that, since it’s another platinum mount. But I no longer have to worry about that, because my amazing sister surprised me and bought it for me! Thanks for all the advice, everyone.
  8. Waaaaay outside my price range. I had thought about trading for it, but I don’t have anything worth that much, and I don’t want to drop coins on something that people may or may not want to trade it for. I had wondered about maybe asking what people want, but the bind timers make that a long and laborious process, so I haven’t gone that route yet.
  9. Simple question: does the basilisk war droid mount ever come up for direct sale in the CM instead of being part of that armor/mount bundle? I only just discovered that the mount exists, and I love it and I want one, but I don't want that armor set it comes with. I'd rather save the cartel coins and just buy the mount.
  10. The side you pick in the war for Iokath will impact the leadership of the other side. If you're worried about a particular companion, I would just look up a guide online to reacquiring that particular companion and make sure you meet the requirements. If you want to know about each and every one... I guess you might have to look up each and every one.
  11. I have max rep for the rakghoul event. I ran a few quests yesterday, and instead of giving me the useless rep tokens to sell for a few thousand credits, they were automatically consumed, granting me nothing. This is very annoying.
  12. This is a known bug: Source: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=969608
  13. You can look up guides online that tell you where exactly to find the snack for the flirron, but for those who want to explore themselves, I'll just say that these tasty morsels are very tiny, and are sometimes found near certain large broadleaf bushes.
  14. With regard to the spoiler you just posted,
  15. Can you invite another player into your instance? That should make it much easier.
