yoruhana Posted February 11, 2016 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Go back out to the bug report forum and follow Tait's instructions the streaming/bitraider bug sticky. In a nutshell you delete a few files out of the Bitraider folder and then re-run the launcher. For me once I did that it started the process of "reorganizing" and "verifying" the game. As I write this, it's currently re-downloading some files. This problem is likely related to so many people needing to patch and re-patch all at once. Was never a big fan of the Bitraider software. In all likelihood some of the important game files were corrupted for some people and therefore the patcher actually needs to download files other than "just" the 4.1a hotfixes. Will advise once it's finished if this actually got it going again. Tried this again and it worked. The same frekken bug 2 patches in a row within a few days. Im starting to remember why i left this game a few years back, had a ticket going for days with no reply. update us on wdf is going on u gdam useless scrubs, im paying to play this gdam game and i expect some kinda compensation for lost member time... Same, uninstalled and reinstalled twice. No luck... My internet is just fine and I was able to play before the disaster being patch 4.1 (and 4.1a) So back to twidling my thumbs I guess. YAY... _____ Need to revise my statement. Got a tip from a buddy to delete everything inside the "bitraider"-folder. Did that, started the launcher, logged in and got nowhere (game didn't launch). Opened launcher again, logged in (cause I'm very stubborn) and BAM, logged in like nothing ever happened... ***? Anyway. For now, game seems to work fine. [2] Log in fine > Hit Start > Game vanishes/shuts down (no error report, just gone). [3] Error 208. No, they most likely won't add bonus time or anything else beyond an apology. They want to take our money and push out new content but I seriously don't think they do as much testing as they really should before releasing new content. I opened the launcher again and when asked for my password, I used all lower case. When it finally came back and said it was the wrong password, I input it again the correct way and when I got to hit the "Play" button again, it finally opened the client - though I'll admit it almost looked like it wasn't going to. The game finally let me log in with a regular log in at 1904 EST. Yay only took you all day since the patch...
