alex_sasa
Same here. Besides, there was no announcement for the 4.1a, no connection disabling. Had to check my internet/PC/power outlet Poor rollout planning, dear BW

Wanagi
Same thing as everyone here. I open launcher and it initialized and verified everything but when I hit play the launcher closes and the game does not open. I do not get any error codes or anything. Just nothing. I've deleted the Bit Raider folder and it redownloaded the content I assume fine but same thing - Hitting play just closes everything out.
MCGreenlees
I'm also having these issues. I've tried running as administrator, but still having no luck. Name an issue, I'm having it.

Chaosmode
The Bitraider Client also closes out from Task Manager. Since Bitraider is necessary for the game to run if you have not disabled/deleted it, maybe this is an area to look at. Pookahead
Game will not launch after the maintenance this morning. The launcher ran an update, but when I press PLAY, the game closes and no processes relating to it are running. I've tried: - removing Bit Raider and re-running - repairing game - ALT+Enter (as I do see "ST" whenever restarting this) - Updating drivers Are some able to play and it's just a group of unlucky people who can't get in? I finally got in about 2 minutes ago. I'm not sure why. This was my third time trying to delete the Bit Raider process and restarting the launcher and finally something happened. Luck? I don't know. ZharaX
Tried hitting "Play" and got to character selection screen once again, still got the 0.00% downloaded message in top of character selection screen. Then tried to select server which all were empty. Quit the game, ran launcher again, now launcher displays "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again." Retrogame
Go back out to the bug report forum and follow Tait's instructions the streaming/bitraider bug sticky. In a nutshell you delete a few files out of the Bitraider folder and then re-run the launcher. For me once I did that it started the process of "reorganizing" and "verifying" the game. As I write this, it's currently re-downloading some files. This problem is likely related to so many people needing to patch and re-patch all at once. Was never a big fan of the Bitraider software. In all likelihood some of the important game files were corrupted for some people and therefore the patcher actually needs to download files other than "just" the 4.1a hotfixes. Will advise once it's finished if this actually got it going again.

Suicideking
So, this problem happened to me. It finally let me in, only to tell me that only the starting planets was ready, and the rest was streaming. That made no sense, so I exited. Deleted the bitraider folder, and let it repatch. Still no luck getting in. Restarted my pc, fired up the launcher, and it started up the non-streaming version (no st in the corner).. and wouldn't let me in. Started the launcher again, ST version comes up... and the game lets me in to play. An hour later, I exit game for a bit. Come back, and boom, same problem again. *sigh*
