Warzone/group spec

Combat support cell.

Keep reactive on self unless in turret heals mode. When unmolested, pop supercharged cells and spam charged bolts, watching bodies hit the floor. Two knock backs. Typically use cryo to gain the time to get off an adv probe followed by a med probe.

Solo/1v1 spec

Plasma cell.

Keep reactive on self at all times, pausing occasionally to drop an adv probe on self followed by a med probe (if situation permits). Keep both fire dots on target and kite. Spam hammer shot when incendiary round is on. Sweltering heat keeps them slowed. If you take a spike of dps, freeze them or LOS them and hit an adv probe followed by a med probe rotation on self.

I've been considering similar specs myself. Not sure how well they are going to work out in practice, the trees seem designed to punish hybridization fairly hard, but I'd like to try them out and see how they do.

Anyway, here are my variations for you to consider.

Basically I don't think first responder, weapon calibrations or treated wound dressings are anything special. Instead you get the +5% heal buff on kolto bomb (you did say this was a group spec after all), Med Zone so you can pop reactive shield and heal through damage much more easily in an emergency, as well as grav round to boost dps and tenacious defence to reduce the cooldown on your cc-break and aoe knockback abilities. The main downside of this variation in my opinion is you lose psych aid, but there just aren't enough points to do everything. :p

Only change is to swap treated wounds for Med Zone. Treated wounds is useless for this build, it only works when CSC is active, and you are going to be running plasma cell. Med zone gives you the option to pop reactive shield in an emergency and then AMP and MP with a +20% healing bonus. Throw some CC into the mix if you are having trouble getting your heals off due to push back or interrupts.

I liked your build Chris_G, but I modified it a tad to get the 4% damage reduction from Treated Wound Dressings while combat support cell is active (which it always is) instead of the 20% increased healing received while reactive shield is active (from Med Zone). I figure reactive shield is only active (at most) 10% of the time. So it's really only a 2% damage reduction if you heal yourself (or get healed) while reactive shield is up. If I'm doing the healing during that window, I'm not healing my teammates. I'd rather have the 4% passive damage reduction.

Any suggestions on this build for PvP?

Your idea to put 2 into Tenacious Defense makes a huge amount of sense for PvP. I'm always waiting for the cooldown on Concussion Charge and Tenacity.
