Nightmare loot still not fixed

Well, 220 gear dropping on nim is one thing. Offhand (instead of chestpiece) 220 being a drop from hm/nim dread council is the second thing. But... can anyone explain to me why the hell dread council(!) nightmare drops wings of the architect mount? (no rancor anymore)

Obviously not working as intended. I see no reason for them to move the vanity items/mounts around from instance to instance. It would be nice, as always, to get at least some sort of response about a PvE matter, but clearly this just isn't anything they are concerned with.

 

I also find it hard to believe that Devs had no idea that NiM drops were only 220's and not 224's with all the posting that has been going on here. I truly hope he was being sarcastic in that Twitter post.

Clearly because everyone prefers the Wings of the Architect :rak_04: Seriously though, for every Rancor we sold, there were 10 sets of Wings sold.

Just a STALL Tactic... to slow the GRIND down for BIS gear.

 

They did the same thing for 3.0 and delayed giving out the 16m Loot for months. (Almost a dozen tickets later)

 

Same thing here... want to know why? Someone had to make a DECISION and place 2x Tokens per boss on the NIM content. That same person or group of people would have had to say... "Do this or do that" for loot.

 

IE: If it was truly "Bugged" we would have seen 1x Token that was 220 only instead.

Oh please...

And put EV on highlight? I'll have all my toons with shiny 224 mainhand by Thursday max, thx to legacy gear.

Getting one BiS relic for a couple of toons for everyone in a static raid team would take two-three evenings if feeling lazy as well.

Rest was grindable before and will be grindable if feeling bit more lazy.

Seriously, the only thing that actually slows down the hunt for BiS gear is the fact you won't need it in ages from now on.

  • Going into Game Update 4.0, there are a few issues that we are aware of and are looking to get fixed ASAP. Thanks!
  • Most Glowing Data Crystal items for the Imperial Agent and Smuggler will show an incorrect icon and appearance in game. As an example, the Defiant Mender's Jacket MK-5 will have the icon and appearance of Defiant Targeter's Gloves MK-5. When this item is equipped, it will go into the chest slot and provide the stats of the chest piece, however it will adjust the appearance of your gloves. To show the correct appearance of the gloves, please un-equip and equip the gloves from your character sheet. This will be corrected in a future update and the correct appearances will be updated onto the correct equipment pieces.
  • Accepting more than 25 Missions will cause Item Rewards to appear incorrectly in the Mission Log. They will still grant as expected once the Mission is completed.
  • The Locked Medium Elite Commendation Container is still named with the old Commendation name, but do contain the appropriate new Data crystals.
  • All level 10-50 Absorb Augments cannot be Reverse Engineered. If you attempt to reverse engineer one, you will receive an 'Invalid Schematic' error message.
  • Companions do not reliably follow players across bridges in the Star Fortress and may need to be re-summoned.
  • Some Operation Decoration rewards are placeable inside of a Stronghold on the wrong sized hooks.
  • All Armstech and Artifice weapons are currently missing their color crystal slots. This will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
  • Imperial Agents Missing Companion: At a certain point, late into the available episodes, you should unlock one of your previous Companions. However, this Companion will not show up in your Companions and Contacts window, and they will not be able to be summoned. If you played during Early Access and unlocked the companion, you will not have lost access to them. Customer Support cannot assist in this case, and we are working on a fix.
  • Chapter VII cannot currently be completed. We are actively investigating this issue.
  • Numerous issues with Companions being granted properly are being investigated. Ex: Torian, Xalek, Scorpio.
  • What is missing? Can you guess?

Am I unreasonable when I think something that has been reported during first week of 4.0 launching took over two weeks to be worthy of a comment and then another two weeks after that and nothing?

 

It's not like we are getting raid content any time soon so I'd expect BW to at least try to keep up the appearances towards nightmare raiding people. The gear is there, stats are there and the actual fixing should not be unbearably difficult task to manage?

 

This is pretty strong signal to a small and specific group of players Tait. Insignificant and small a group of players playing your nightmares is not valuable to you as customers. Great thing that BW had time to nerf companions with pretty heavy hammer, it slipped, didn't it? At least those are according to company statistics now. :rolleyes:
