The word on that the Republic player goes to their DK stronghold and gives it up. It is also supposed to work in the reverse order. I do not know if this is intended on a PVE server. Currently on Coruscant and they're effectively spawn-camping (parked in Senate medcenter and killing anyone foolish enough to flag as PVP) and taking out vendor and mission NPCs. If you delete the stronghold while you are inside of it, it will send you to the Imperial Fleet, even if you are a pub. Imagine the same thing happens with Coruscant.
