MaximusRex
So, you fixed his story and re-did the voice overs for Tattooine where he is looking for his special matched set of blasters then as well, right?

DreadtechSavant
So it seems, I just don't get why this was changed. It makes no sense at all. I can see why other characters had some sort of weapon change to increase the range of weapons they can use. Most just seem done for no reason. I can see why Jorgan can now use sniper rifle and blaster rifle, No mention if he can still use assault cannon though. OK none of this is a big deal and really has no affect on the games just seems pointless all the same.
MouseNoFour
Likely it will just be changed to what they can equip. Yes, he will still be searching for his matching set of blaster pistols... but he will only ever use one of them. Story breaking of course, but i very much doubt Bioware will give a damn about this. Max_Killjoy
I guess we'll find out tomorrow. The two-gun style for Revel is pretty much the distinctive thing about his combat abilities... would be just one more thing that Bioware has flubbed in this attempt to "improve" companions. Cox_The_Beast
Gault Rennow now uses Blaster Rifles and Sniper Rifles. Kaliyo Djannis now uses Blaster Rifles and Sniper Rifles. I'm kind of puzzled at the removal of Blaster Cannons from Aric Jorgan. He becomes more of an assault fighter during the story, it'd have made sense to simply add the option for Sniper Rifles without removing cannons IMHO. Pierce would have been a perfect mirror to Aric Jorgan. He's a close quarters fighter, Black Ops and all that. A Heavy Blaster Cannon would have been awesome on him! Also a bit unsure about the changes to Corso Riggs: Corso prefers to use guns because of his background, even though he can use rifles. He never mentions long range fighting experience, so no idea why does he get to use Sniper Rifles now. Also, why does Yuun lose Techstaves proficiency? CrutchCricket
•Corso Riggs now uses Blaster Rifles and Sniper Rifles. ... So what's the point of getting Torchy back then? Not surprised though. If what I read today is accurate companion uniqueness went the way of the dinosaurs. Just one more reason to bail.

HuNtOziO
It was edited out at some point after the initial posting, but i also saw the post about him only wielding one blaster. Guessing they removed it as it was incorrect, either way technically everyone is correct and they have screenshots to prove it, bioware omitted it

It looks like this is exactly what they did, they published them, tweeted it, and then changed it. That would also likely be why Dulfy's was wrong as well. CrutchCricket
Whats the point of Sniper flailing around a pistol in cutscenes? Or Commandos Cannon or VGs rifle? Silly aesthetics are not exactly uncommon hehe What does that have to do with anything? Agent and trooper get pistols in cutscenes because it'd be ridiculous to menace a street rat with a giant *** assault cannon. What does that have to do with companion weapons which are never used the same way?
