cach-x Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 Normal companions across all classes all follow the same skill pattern even if it differs visually, for example all healing chars have a stun skill but some use lighting, other carbon streams, the consular healer even uses his hologram thingie. HK and Treek are unique not because of their roles but because of their skillset. (skills/spells/mechanics no other companion has). Sinapus Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 I hope they do keep their special abilities, even ones like Tharan's Deploy Holiday ability as a stun or Lord Scourge has a special attack as well. (One that hits 8 targets and provides a small amount of healing.) Hopefully we'll get more details on this as the release approaches. I hope this is mainly because if we can recruit companions from other classes, it allows us to designate one as a tank or healer or dps if the companions we end up with are not in one of those categories.
