Citizens of the Republic,

As part of a new peace keeping initiative the 203rd Republic Expeditionary Legion, Alpha Company, will be patrolling on contested planets regularly. As a deterrent to any troublemakers the patrol route will be public knowledge. If you live in the announced area you may feel safe leaving your house that day knowing that Alpha Company is protecting you.

WHO: All Alpha Company Personnel

WHAT: Patrol

WHEN: Weekend day @ between 1900 and 2000 EST start time

WHERE: A planet/zone accessible to both factions.

DURATION: Upwards from 30 min

POINT OF CONTACT: 1SG Kjvago Mahr

SUMMARY:

One day, every weekend Alpha Company will be patrolling on a planet that is accessible to both factions.

The patrols will have a pre-planned route which should take between 30 min to an hour, after which the patrol will end if we don't encounter anyone.

As we patrol, we will stop to RP with you whether you are imperial or republic and we will not attack unless you initiate combat. You may however expect to be stunned and questioned if we think that you are acting suspicious.

We will also respond with force if we hear of any lowbies being attacked on planet.

The planet and the route will be posted on the Jung Ma forums every week so people can know where to find us if they want to do some World PvP with us or do some RP with us.

These patrols may be canceled in favor of other events on a particular week if needed in which case that will also be announced here.

Contact Summary: The patrol started on time and we moved out in the direction of the Rogue Cartel Warbot. Along the way we started being harassed by two operatives from <Arcanum> and ran into Hrokkvir. Hrokkvir told us that we cost his masters with our victory on Hoth and told us to come to the ruined republic base on Ilum where they would have a trap waiting for us. If we don't come they will kill hostages. After he walked off, we continued our patrol to the Warbot which was absent when we arrived. We continued to the western main road and then south toward an imperial base while continually being harassed by the two operatives. As we got to the base we got bogged down for a while before finally managing to extract and continue past it. As we got near the imperial starport we met an assassin from <Arcanum> that was initially hostile but then declared his neutrality. We then pulled the commander and managed to kill him while simultaneously dealing with the two operatives' harassment. After killing the commander, we pulled back to a nearby hill and quick traveled out.

Whatever happens, we will be off planet by 2000 EST.

Hello, I'm posting because I'm trying to get an RP campaign going and wanted to know if Alpha Company was interested in joining. The reason I'm posting here is because I can't post on your website without joining. anyway here is what I have so far:

War between the Empire and Republic rages through the galaxy. On the ice planet Ilum, Zo’rath the Destructive leads a small group of hand selected soldiers to recover a crystal that holds unimaginable power. However, word has reached the Republic and the Jedi sent two of their own along with a handful of soldiers to stop them. The crystal itself is shrouded in mystery to most, however records indicate that it grants the one who controls it great strength in the force and can easily be corrupted or purified.

However Zo’rath knowing the inevitable will happen, drew up a contingency plan. His daughter Veraa, gathers slaves along with other force users in an attempt to unlock the key to immortality by sacrificing the lives of others. Attempts thus far have only succeeded in granting her father enough strength in the force to recover from wounds that would be fatal to most but still hasn’t removed his mortality.

As the final battle between both sides rages on Hoth, Zo'rath and (insert opponent(s) name(s) here) seek to end the struggle once and for all on (haven't decided on planet yet). The war against life itself has begun, and it trails all through the galaxy. Will the Republic and it’s heroes be able to stop the danger they are about to face? Or will Zo’rath lead the Empire to victory once and for all?

I'm looking into getting at least one more pub guild and two imperial guilds (including the one I'm currently in). If you're interested be sure to contact me or one of my fellow guildmates in <Vae Victis>. I'll explain the rules once everyone confirms that they are willing to be apart of it. Thanks for considering this invite and hope to see you in the campaign.

I see Riike responded to you in our guild recruitment thread so I guess I don't need to do anything..

Last week this happened:

We started our patrol at Shad-Ka Outpost in the Nightmare Lands and travelled north along the unmarked path on the western edge of the area. There we ran into a mercenary that was killing nightmare creatures. We stopped him and explained that we were in the area keeping the peace and asked if he had seen anyone causing trouble. He had not and so we let him go about his business. We continued our route and passed by Ghen's Overlook where we ran into a sniper who attacked us. While fighting the sniper, the mercenary from earlier came and joined him in fighting us. After fighting them off for a couple of minutes, we made a fighting retreat from the base and took a detour from our planned route and headed to a nearby lake to kill a nightmare creature and investigate a Voss religious site. Once we got back to our route we entered the Pelath-Ri Marches where we stopped by Kri-Ta Outpost and made sure that our local commander was safe. From there we followed the main road to Outpost Overseer where we killed an imperial commander. After that we headed north to Pelath Point and to take a shuttle off planet, but once we got there we again met the sniper from earlier who attacked us. After neutralizing him, we saw that he had four friends there with him. We started negotiations for their peaceful withdrawal, which went well until the sniper shot at us and fighting broke out. After fighting for a long time, the imperials called for a ceasefire and asked for an even fight with five of ours against their five. I picked out Corporal Kateri, Speacialists Jukota and Derzis, Trooper Ajax and myself to represent the company. Both sides left the immediate vicinity of the medical center before starting the combat. The first fight had a misunderstanding of the terms of our combat. The second fight we won with no casualties. The third fight, the imperials were joined mid fight by reinforcements. We responded with bringing our three other members to back us up and a melee started. This lasted for several minutes until the Sith'ari Templars backed off and told us "The planet is yours by right of combat ... The Sith'ari shall depart".

This week (5/9 at 1900) we are going to CZ-198. As there's not much area to cover for this patrol, we'll be in the big room area for 30 min keeping the peace before we leave unless something happens. I hope some imperials show up, the area looks very fun to fight in.

  • 2 weeks later...

Last week this happened:

On a routine peacekeeping mission to CZ-198, SGT Kjvago and SPC Jukota were ambushed by a force of eight imperials. After being soundly beaten and taking cover, SGT Kjvago called for aid from fellow Alpha Company soldiers as well as from their allies in Marine Expeditionary Unit. Jukota and Kjvago were soon reinforced by an additional three members of Alpha Company and four members of MEU, making for even numbers. We fought along one of the upper walkways in the area, trying to drive them off but during the fighting Clan Desh'ar captured a hostage from MEU. This hostage is presumably one of the POWs that Hrokkvir has threatened to execute, when we last saw him on Quesh, should we not show up on Ilum to spring his trap.

This week:

This Saturday (5/16 at 1900 EST) we are going to Ilum. We'll head north from Republic Base Camp toward Republic Waystation and from there to Imperial Base Camp.

Depending on the numbers we're working with we'll either turn around and end the patrol there or kill the commander and then break into the Imperial cantina and damage morale by liberating them of their drinks.

Apologies for the late announcement of this weeks patrol.

Two weeks ago this happened:

On a routine peacekeeping mission to Ilums Western Ice Shelf, SGT Kjvago and a fire team patrolled northwards toward the Imperial Base Camp. Once we got there we broke through the base's defenses and entered its interior. We made our way to the imperials cantina and liberated the drinks there in an effort to damage imperial troop morale. After that we broke out and headed west to the Imperial Waystation to have a look at the imperial commander in the area. When we got there, we found that the commander was named and therefore too strong for our small group.

This week (5/30/15 @ 1900 EST) We will be heading to Nar Shaddaa's Alien Outreach Center in High Security Lockdown. From there we will head to Network Security District where we will be patrolling the area and taking local gang members off the street as part of a new Republic initiative codenamed Operation Rampage.

Alpha Company will be patrolling Hoth on 8/9 (Sunday) at 2000 EST.

Our route will start at Outpost Aurek and take us eastwards past Senth. At the intersection near Outpost Zerek we will take the road south towards Frostwake Outpost (Imperial) and check on the commander there. From there we will patrol westwards toward High-mount Ridge and take the road north back to Outpost Senth.

Public Report on our patrol this past Sunday:

The patrol was successful as a Alpha Company led coalition fended off Mandalorian led attacks. With the determination, training, and communication of everyone who participated, our casualties were low.

We remember those who died serving proudly for their Republic.

As for the campaign, the 203rd and its allies marched forward through the icy peaks of Hoth, and battled off opposition as we headed south towards Frost-Wake Outpost. Using tactical advantages, lives were saved with coordination. Once the opposition was weakened, we headed towards Frost Wake to kill off its Imperial commander. A known commander that has been a thorn for the Republic out in this distant system, was killed. Imperial aid came too late, as their leaders death left the outpost disorganized and leaderless. With victory now obtained, the 203rd and its allies regroup back at rendezvous for briefing on the results of the campaign.

203rd in formation

Victory for the Republic on this day.

We thank those who participated in this patrol. Both Republic andImperial Guilds and Players fought hard and we are glad to have shared the experience.

Honorable Mentions:

We thank Marine Expiditionary Unit for their support in the fight against tyranny that is the Empire.

Thank you to Clan Rodarch for their strong showing.

Last night we conducted an unannounced patrol on Belsavis. This was the result:

Contact Report:

Enemy Encountered: Five <Clan Rodarch>, Hrokkvir <Reign>, three <Nightmare Squadron>

Friendly/Neutral Encountered: Viozaer

Contact Summary: Alpha Company formed up at Republic Watchtower to get ready for a patrol with an eight man balanced group. Once everyone showed up, 1SG Kjvago Mahr led the troops out. Due to not having any recon element, the company moved carefully from defensible position to defensible position, heading slowly towards the Imperial base. At some points we made creative use of 1LT Riike Galon as a makeshift scout to make sure we didn't run into an ambush when having to move around objects that blocked all line of sight.

About halfway to the Imperial base the RWS Alrek Torik appeared in the sky to provide orbital support and MAJ Qorbin Oca shuttled down to the surface attired in reconnaissance gear to fill in the missing element in our group.

Finally reaching the Imperial base, still with no Imperial contact, a call came in on 1SG Kjvago Mahr's holocommunicator. He made the call to stop at a nearby defensible hill and forming 360 security before taking out his communicator and accepting the call. Call accepted, a holo of a male Mandalorian appeared, ID'd as Alamor, the Alor of Clan Rodarch, and simply said "We are here" before cutting the call.

MAJ Qorbin infiltrated the Imperial base and sent word out that there were no Mandalorians present. Interpreting the message to mean that the opposition was at the Republic base, 1SG Kjvago asked MAJ Qorbin to quick travel back to base to look for them. When the Major arrived he was able to confirm the presence of a small group of five Mandalorians lurking outside the Republic base.

Electing to ambush the Mandalorians rather than travel back to the base and come out the front door. 1SG Kjvago ordered the troops to mount up and headed back to the base rapidly. As we neared the reported location of the Mandalorians we ordered a stop and dismount behind a nearby hill before climbing up the hill on foot and hiding behind a large tree to allow the commandos to prime their ammo cells and SGT Vejovis and CPL Illumori to distribute their trauma probes before engaging.

Once everyone was ready we rounded the tree and charged down the hill, firing focused fire as the enemy came into range and then hitting them with a coordinated mortar volley followed up by additional hails of bolts before mopping up the rest with focused fire. They all fell within seconds. One wounded Mandalorian loudly complained that we hadn't fought fair, something we all thought odd given our limited knowledge of Mandalorian culture. We had proven ourselves worthy adversaries.

Moving out again to the Imperial base having been joined by our former XO, Viozaer, we arrived with no enemy contacts on the road. We took advantage of a flaw in the base and entered it unopposed and got an overwatch position on a roof inside the base. Realizing that we were inside their base, the Mandalorians returned and fought us. Jumping down off the roof we entered a supply tent to liberate some rockets that were laying out in the open. There, we held off the enemy for a short time until they got reinforcements and had to vacate the vulnerable position.

Running swiftly out of the base, we took many casualties. Our damaged bodies were dragged to a nearby medical facility and patched up before we grouped up and headed out again. Viozaer choose this time to leave to take care of other business due to an electrical malfunction in his armor systems. We traveled southward carefully toward the Imperial base and ran into the Imperials near a ruined fence where we engaged them, making use of the fence as an obstacle, harpoons, coordinated mortar fire and focused targeting to work rapid attrition on the enemy force we held our ground and won.

Before the enemy could come back, we moved out of the fenced area and onto a highly defensible rock formation to get a better over-watch and terrain advantage where we could consolidate our forces, clean our weapons and patch our wounds before the enemy charged us again. Again, terrain advantage, focused targeting and coordinated mortar fire won the day.

We charged off of our position to take out the last two visible enemies who were watching us from a distance before taking another strong position closer to the Imperial base. Apparently demoralized and defeated, the enemy called for surrender. Careful of trickery, we rapidly moved to another strong point near the enemy gate and formed a staggered skirmish line before accepting the Mandalorian envoy approaching us. 1LT Riike Galon walked out to meet him and the Mandalorian admitted defeat and yielded the planet to us wowing to fight us again sometime in the near future.

After the Mandalorians left we approached Hrokkvir who offered vague threats before fleeing. To add insult to injury we then attacked and killed the Imperial base commander who had been abandoned by his allies before taking a shuttle back to the prison administration to form up and be dismissed.

The following members are recommended for commendation:

All members present for this event are being recommended for the Legion of Combat by 1SG Kjvago Mahr for their exemplary ability to follow commands and execute battle procedure.

1LT Riike Galon is being recommended for the Bronze Star of the Republic by 1SG Kjvago Mahr for his heroic service ensuring safe passage for the troops in the absence of any recon element at the risk of his own life and limb.
