Someone with a merc and a commando at level 60.

 

Strip off all your gear but leave a mainhand on. The mainhand must be empty.

 

Now on merc look at Sweeping Blasters damage tooltip

 

Then on commando look at Hail of Bolts damage tooltip

 

Write it down and get back to me. I cannot immediately do this because I didn't level my mirror class since we don't raid the other side.

Posted it in PTS Bug Reports thread, but I guess it's more visible here. I tested Sweeping Blasters and Hail of Bolts on dummy and they hit for the same. Had same gear on both (mainhand + offhand, no stance, no spec), the only difference was a few datacrons.

Both are within mercenary tooltip values, so my conclusion is that Hail of Bolts tooltip is bugged, but its damage is fine.

I suspected that the tooltip of Hail of Bolts was bugged, since according to that my Gunslingers AoE blasters hit for more at level 30 than my Mando at 50.

So with the tooltip changed I'm looking at...

 

Sweeping Blasters = 5.5k-6.5k damage when using 25% AOE boost utility

 

For reference:

 

2 GCD channel

35% armour penetration, +15% crit chance, +30% crit damage as Arsenal

5m radius/10m AOE circle

 

For further reference

 

Death From Above = 7.2k-8k damage

 

2 GCD channel

35% armour penetration as Arsenal

5m radius/10m circle

45s Cooldown
