Commando gear hard to come by. Gear that is available is over priced.

Not so with my jedi sage or sentinel. Every odd level I would purchase green gear at odd levels. It was reasonably priced. My commando is at level 25, and the heavy armor he needs with an aim stat is almost non-existent. So the gear that he and Aric need are out of reach.

The NPCs sell gear at the same price for every class

 

The GTN sells gear at the price players sell it for.

because of 12x xp people buy out all the low level gear from gtn

 

For 5 out of 8 classes the first companion they get is aim user,

that's one reason to have more people to buy all the cheap aim junk than other main stats so there is none left

especially below level 25

A lot of the gear that used to drop from mobs has now been replaced with datacrons fro housing which has made the adaptable drops that much more rare

So there is this secret thing I do when leveling. I used moddable gear. I then use the planet comms to buy MIDS for that gear.

I made a ton of mods and armors for low levels for this reason.

 

I've banked 88 million creds since 12x event started. All custom rifles, custom pistols, and all the crafted armor pieces. I still can't keep the GTN stocked. I have armors selling for 30k-180k each non-moddable on the GTN from green to purple quality.

 

I even rotated between my toons to keep them all producing up until today. Once my stock is sold it's sold. By tomorrow I'll have made the 90 million credit range.

My last piece of armor sold, for level 15, purple chest piece, sold for $350,000 credits, non-moddable.

I started at $35,000,000 approx (rounded up) and have now ended at $131,000,000 credits from selling armors and mods at this 12x event
