weapon_x
I'm a speed reader. I turned subtitles on and I'm usually done reading before the NPC says the third word, so I just hit the space bar.
Rickii
Hard to say since the voice acting is such a huge part of the game. Wouldn't be the same game without it.
Anthonytats
Yeah... I dont see why people have a problem with the voice acting? Its better than the ***** in other MMOs... "Oh quest giver, ok, i'll take it, oh i have to read this 2000000000000 worded little essay to find out what im doing..." Im in the same boat, i chuck on subtitles and read the side quests quite a bit. Im there solid for my class quests though. I like my character having a proper voice, gives me more of a connection. CmdrAwesome
If it didn't have voice acting, it would be just another mindless wow-clone. And I don't play that crap.
NervZero
I would play SWTOR no matter what... I mean i love everything Star Wars....
Vilda
No previous MMO convinced me that it is worth paying for. This did. Full voiceover was propably part of a dealbreaker.
bobofatt
No, Voice acting is what sold me on the game. No voice acting might as well be playing WoW.

emartell
Nope. The voice over is the only thing interesting to me. This is MMO # 8 for me (I think) and I was done with the genre until SWTOR. Either I stay interested or I abandon the idea that MMOs are a part of my life. There is no "next game". I sincerely hope Bioware has the stuff to keep it going. Cosi
Yes. I never turn on the sound in MMOs. Voice acting makes no difference to me at all. Edited December 24, 2011 by Cosi

Ituhata
The voice acting is huge for me. I am so enthralled with my characters personal story because of it and I just can't see the allure if it were just another 'Ah, I've been expecting you', text, 'Walk with the Earthmother', go quest type deal. Valperion
I would. Voice acting and story is the only two things that are holding this game together. If they never existed, this game would fall apart very quickly. Edited December 24, 2011 by Valperion
Cormey
Probably not, voice acting and the interesting cutscenes, characterization and story flavour that comes with it was the big draw for me.
Striker
The bioware decsion making is more important than the voice acting to me. The voice acting is awesome too though. So I'd probably still play it, but I'd be going through it faster.

Edington
Yes, it has the word Star wars. Besides, I don't really listen to the voice acting, I skim read everything.
Naktuk
Probably not, it's funny hearing Lassie as a cat-alien.
Nighenhale
I have never really been a fan of Star Wars. I liked the original trilogy fine enough, but have always been more into Star Trek then Star Wars. I prefer pure fantasy and pure sci-fi over the combination which is Star Wars. So originally I wasn't all that into this game. The reason I kept some interest was the fact that it was a Bioware game and fully voiced. Would I have tried this game if it didn't have voice acting? I doubt it. I think I found my home for quite some time now though, loving the game to death!
gregordunbar
No. Game is lacking in many areas and the only thing that stands out is the story. if they dont add RP content by the time im done with a few characters stories...im out along with much of my guild as we are a RPing guild. Crazeegamer
No, Voice acting is what sold me on the game. No voice acting might as well be playing WoW. i'm pretty much right with this guy
kasanth
Yeah, I would still be here trying it. Voice acting has nothing to do with why I decided to try it. I think voice acting is kinda like the rifts in Rift. Cool at first, but by the time one hits lvl 50, they will probably be tired of them slowing things down.
