chosonman
So doe we still get to keep our field respec legacy perk with the new advanced class skill system?
Anzel
Disciplines being introduced will not allow you to change Advanced Class, just Discipline. Example, if you are a Madness Sorcerer right now you will have the option of which Discipline to move into, Corruption, Lightning, or Madness just like you do now! Also, just like now, you will be able to change Disciplines after choosing should you want to. -eric Not sure if that's what he's saying here or not. I was wondering the same thing. Maybe ask in the blog thread?
MillionsKNives
Yeah, I was wondering how that would work. My guess is that it will be like it is now. You go to a respec trainer or if you have the legacy perk you click it in the menu, which then allows you to change your discipline.
Jerba
I'm also thinking that Field Respec will continue to work as it does now, and if you don't have it, you need to go to fleet to respec. From the blog post: so if you want to abandon and switch disciplines (similar to resetting skill points on the trees) Edited October 6, 2014 by Jerba
Delta_V
From the description, if I had to guess, I'd say you can switch the "utility" talents on the fly, but then either have to go to the trainer or use Field Respec to switch Disciplines.
