In the livestreams, we have all repeatedly seen crafting nodes such as Aluminum Salvage Heap, Alien Contagion Fiber and Biometric Safebox shown. They are listed under 'Utility' and under 'source' we can see that these come from the planetary conquest event. I am wondering if these crafting nodes will actually be functional (so that we can gather the mats while inside our strongholds) or if they are just placeables to look at (as it does look like the preview image is slightly different from what we see in open world). I definitely hope the former. In effect this is no different from just lounging around in CZ-198 where there are crafting nodes next to the vendors and GTN anyhow, and it would be an added incentive for people to actually GET a stronghold.
